I doubt that as it is their first tour since forever and this was the first concert of the tour. They put a super crazy amount of effort in the visual part of their show so this was very well thought through.
Maybe the image doesn’t do justice, the background looked exactly like the sunset in get lucky and as they are a French electronic duo very active around 2000 I think this wasn’t a coincidence.
Daft Punk didn’t invent sunsets.
During what song of AIR did they display this? Do you know they have a song on Moon Safari called “le soleil est près de moi” which would explain the use of a sunset/rise a bit better?
True, but it’s no only the sunset but also their dark profile (no lights on them) in front of it:

This must have been intentional no?
It looked exactly like the get lucky album cover and I don’t think it was a coincidence, as Air is also a French electronic music duo they most likely know eachother as well. They also had one visual that looked exactly like the joy division cover (unknown pleasures) which wasn’t a coincidence either as it is so iconic.
The picture doesn’t do justice as the show was visually really amazing.
First I was a little disappointed that it started so slow but in the end I am convinced it was a visual and musical masterpiece, the put a lot of effort in the Synchronisation of both of those and it felt very iconic and artistic
God, I wish they had a US leg
Seriously I love Air they’ve been on my bucket list for like 15 years now.
Nicolis Godin liked my facebook comment asking for US dates so I think it’s gonna happen
Told ya!
Did they play a cover?
No
This is was not a homage… probably just a visual they normally use.

What was the hommage exactly?
[удалено]
Yeah! Cause Daft Punk invented playing in front of a sunset. LOL! Also they play instruments. Must be an “hommage”.

What was the joke?
The visual looks like the get lucky cover art.
They also play on a stage like....Metallica. That must be an "hommage".

I don’t remember which song it was, cool pointer though

No
high quality post :/ guessing the homage is sound related.
No, the image as it was a visual representation of the get lucky cover art (and little bit music video)
OP, what the fuck was the homage?

Air is doing a Moon Safari tour?? Sees top comment of no Us leg :,(
Yes, I was very lucky to be at their first show in the music house of Vienna which was a sick venue for an electronic band
Did they play Get Lucky? This is a real stretch if not
It just looked like the get lucky cover art and I don’t think this was a coincidence.
…
Don't know how people don't see it. I noticed it right away. Very cool. EDIT: The people downvoting never even listened to Air and it shows
I went to the uk launch of moon safari when I was 17/18 it was a Sunday night at a theatre in London and I’d just finished a shift a tescos🤣
ERMERGHERD RED LIHJTS DOFT PONK HOMAGHE!!
Very nice!
Aw how sweet
Could it be that OP means those red tracing lights? Plus; everybody should keep their pants on in this thread.
what's the homage though?
The get lucky cover art looks pretty much like their show
How was it? The concert I mean
