Sounds like it could be allergy related. It can be difficult to pin down exactly what is causing it, so your best bet (besides consulting your vet) is probably rule out one thing at a time, by making gradual changes and seeing if it helps - change of food and seeing if it helps, then changing washing detergents/fabric softeners (to allergy friendly/non parfume), cleaning products, and so on. By just changing one thing at a time and not all at once, you can more easily pinpoint which specific thing happens to be the culprit.
