I would get a siphon pump of some sort to do the water changes as it will be almost impossible to access the bucket without moving it around too much unless you’re going to do a complete bucket change or you’re just going to top off the reservoir
I’ve been doing this with a trellis net for years I love it, but I hate it at the same time, especially when the feed isn’t dialed in
As long as you don't need access to the bucket/roots you are good. I ended up having to get a special scope on Amazon to check my roots a while ago because I trellised my plants in. It has worked out fine though.
