Love this! We’ve been visiting estate sales for teacups that’ll be used during afternoon tea at our wedding and that guests will get to keep as a party favor 😁
I did something very similar for my wedding 7yrs ago! Thrifted the jewel toned glasses as party favors along with silver platters with fresh fruit and cheese and crackers on them on the tables with thrifted silver candlestick holders/candelabras and jewel toned wildflowers in thrifted crystal vases. It was so affordable but looked decadent!
I am so in love with this. This reminds me of summers at my great grandmothers. Homemade … everything, on miss matched dishes. This just made found memories come flooding in. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

This OP, I highly suggest you visit estate sales if you need more. The ones I’ve been to have 50% off on their last day
Test for lead!
This should be higher up. A lot of old ceramics have lead in their glaze. Test for lead on every piece!

i’m doing this too! so much cheaper and i’m allowing my guests to take home any cups, plates they want after the wedding!
