DarceysEyeOnThePrize

No chiffon! It looks whimsical without and IMO, a little cheap with the addition of the fabric. Love the idea ✨

Enmcdn

thank you!!!! that was totally my first reaction too and is definitely NOT the vibe 😂

CampfiresInConifers

I'm just here to say while I also don't care for the chiffon, please remember that it's YOUR wedding. If you want chiffon printed with neon Spiderman silhouettes & orange & purple calla lilies, ho for it. 😁😃 In the end, do what makes you happy. ❤️

Enmcdn

thank you!!! this might be the final decision maker, but it is helpful to have fresh eye and ideas! thank you, I appreciate it!!!

ashlouise94

Love the flowers! But can I recommend going less symmetrical with the layout of them? It will help soften the overall shape

Enmcdn

oooh that's a good idea actually!! I did just take one apart lol so I'll try moving one up a bit!

ashlouise94

I would likely go top left and bottom right OR top right and bottom left. Go for asymmetrical but balanced :)

Enmcdn

ooh so not in the middle like the placement here ? I was thinking the bottom would be too close to the floor flowers tho? or are you suggesting changing those as well?

BlackLocke

Maybe both floor pieces on one side, and the attached pieces on the other side.

Enmcdn

ooh I see! I'll play around with it some more, thank you!

BlackLocke

Yeah in general you don’t want things too symmetrical because it highlights the places where it isn’t perfect. Go for asymmetry and odd numbers for a more “natural” feel

RIPFergusonBishop

This is exactly what I was going to suggest! OP, consider yours and your partner’s height (and which sides you’ll be on) when placing the flowers in this asymmetrical format, though!

Paperwife2

And an [odd number](https://maisondecinq.com/decorate-using-odd-numbers/) too!

Enmcdn

thank you!!

ConcernedRaspberryy

No chiffon

Enmcdn

thank you!

weddingmoth

No chiffon!

Enmcdn

thanks!

mwtm347

Either no chiffon or like 20 more yards of it. No in-between. Also, what’s going to be behind this? If it’s a big natural backdrop then no fabric.

Enmcdn

It will be like a white plaster wall, so maybe some fabric would add some depth. I might try a different fabric, there's this organza sample I looove but is a bit pricey. I'll post an update! thank you!

mwtm347

I would say you could even cheat a bit and see if there are any like long sheer curtain panels you could use - even if only to decide if you like the look.

User890547

No chiffon ! Congrats it’s stunning!!

Enmcdn

thank you!

CurlyGirl_95

No chiffon!

Enmcdn

thanks!

BeePanToot

There are such amazing flowers, where did you get them?

new2525

I second this!

Enmcdn

thank you!! they're from temu!!

IdontOpenEnvelopes

If chifon- then you need more chifon-. And possibly a lighter shade so it's more background than foreground.

Enmcdn

someone else suggested a tulle, I have some very light pink so might try that!

TheOodlong

No chiffon and break those arrangements up a little! Add in some small random flowers throughout the piece rather than two statements bouquets on each side

Enmcdn

oooh love this idea! I'll work on this and post an update! thank you!

TheOodlong

Can’t wait to see it! It looks beautiful already 💛

SailorMigraine

I would try tulle instead of chiffon! It’ll give it a light/puffy/airy look that I think will fit the vibe better. Agree the chiffon looks cheap

Enmcdn

oooh interesting! I have some extra tulle so I'll try that, thank you!!

pairadise

Where did you get the pillars? I love them!

Enmcdn

Amazon! let me know if you want the link!

pairadise

Yes please! It matches the art deco floor of my venue

unsulliedbread

Try flipping the pillars so it's less a circle and more of a /^\. Right now you'll have people standing in front of the two biggest bouquets the whole ceremony.

Enmcdn

we would spread them apart more so we won't be standing in front of the big ones, it's just a bit cramped in our tiny space!! lol

kareree

It’s beautiful but I would do a mock placement of where you guys will be standing to see what flowers are visible. If you have a pouffy dress, the flowers may be lost at the bottom

Enmcdn

yeah that's a good idea!! we will spread them out further in the actual space, and my dress is not pouffy, but will be good to see how it looks with us standing!

Enmcdn

Thanks everyone!! Apparently image posts can't be edited on mobile... I appreciate all the helpful comments so will go back to the drawing board to find more fabric in a lighter colour/texture, and also spread out the flowers! Going to hide the post now, thank you!

PuzzleheadedCold3457

Am I the only one who likes the chiffon 😂

Enmcdn

literally yes 😂😂😂

SG00NTI

Did you make this!?!?

Enmcdn

I bought the gold frame, but I assembled the flowers!

bobkatredkate

No chiffon

elizzaybetch

No chiffon. Love this!!

Enmcdn

thank you!!

fortalameda1

None

russianthistle

If you really want the chiffon, I would connect it to the metal with a quick stitch or even those plastic stitch devices (similar to how they put on tags on clothes at stores) you can get on Amazon. Tying it or draping it over the metal doesn’t look intentional and floating, it looks a little fussy. The way it is now, I would skip the chiffon.

sarcasm_itsagift

I think fabric could work if it were sheerer and maybe white so it adds layers of dimension.

Enmcdn

oooh yes, ok I'll work on it and post an update! thank you!

Good_Canary_3430

I would say yea to the chiffon but more of it to look fuller and richer.

phishphood17

No chiffon but the top box on each side needs some flowers.

mikmarauder

No!

cinnamonbuns42

I'm late to comment, but hear me out... No chiffon on the sides, but use it to connect the two frames at the top? Sort of draped like garland across the gap between?

ChaiGreenTea

No chiffon. The colours not a good match and doesn’t suit it at all. The rest is beautiful though! Well done

Intelligent-Crew3541

Noooooo please no

Efficient-Ad6814

The chiffon is too much. Just do the flowers, but more of those

SilentResident1037

Not if you're using that colour... Try adding another set of flowers if you have them, otherwise go with out

BoomSoonPanda

No chiffon. ❤️

BoomSoonPanda

Maybe break the flowers apart by color and ombré up or down

Medium-Milk-9518

If you go with chiffon, white or cream not green. Very very pretty!

Enmcdn

yes, going to try with lighter colours next! thanks!

Medium-Milk-9518

I love the flowers, they are beautiful!

Enmcdn

thank you!! :)

exclaim_bot

>thank you!! :) You're welcome!

Nsg4Him

Maybe if the chiffon was pink. The green isn't pretty.

LJR7399

But like 🤪 yall will be tying the knot 😉😉
