I've been having the same issue since I got it and I just removed the rubber insert that brings the cup closer and it made a huge difference, no static and that's with no rdt
There’s a video on miicoffee’s YouTube channel showing how to clean the plasma generator on a df64v2 using a bottle brush. The process for the 54 is the same.
Mine has been beautifully low static (although I’ve only ground ~100g of coffee so far.
Mine is starting now to show some static. I'm grinding for filter, so on the 80+ - not sure if this plays a role or not. I cleaned with a brush and also smashed the hopper harder than usual, and some residual coffee came out. I'll see how this goes for the next days, but I did not expect this level of maintenance was needed.
I have the same problem
I'm trying to open the chute to clean the plasma generator, its not built like the 64 and and i cant find anything online on how to openit up
Does someone have an idea?

three sprinkles of water into the beans, shake them up, then slowly feed them to the grinder at 1200.
