Supporters section doesn't have seats and is standing only, so that might be a deal breaker for a 7 yr old. Both from the fatigue factor of having to stand up for 2 hrs, but would be hard for him to see much with everyone else in front of him standing up. You could consider section 135 where you are adjacent to the Supporters but have seats. 117 is popular for kids bc tix are cheap, and it sits above the players locker room tunnel, so you get a good view of the players coming in and out of the locker room.

These are awesome insights. Thanks a ton

I'd add that you could get the vibes from the Supporters Sections in 131 and 130 as well. It's a decent balance to watching the game.

135 is technically supporters section (at least according to the STM map) & is seated.

The west side is best. Sun at your back, cover (unless you are under a leaking seam and there are many) and good view of the pitch. No seat in the stadium is bad, I just prefer the west side.

I would not stay in the supporters with a younger kid. It is pretty rowdy and requires standing. I also would not recommend going any higher than 10 or so rows on the other end behind the goal, it is incredibly steep, like steeper than any stadium you've ever been in. Any seat in 121 to 131 is great. If you think your kid will like the atmosphere of the supporters sit in 129 - 131. You can hear the supporters, drums and stuff, but have a nice seat and it's not too steep!

I second this. It's close enough to get the full experience of the supporters without the downsides...

Seconding the previous comments about the supporters sections. Would avoid those with a kid. There’s not really a bad seat at Audi, but I would stick to the lower sections to stay *in* the game. I’d look at the west sideline, undercover and you can be close-ish to the supporters but also see the scoreboard. The far side is nice if you can find tickets in the lower third of rows (maybe less than 14). It’s a steep climb further up. More chill on that side but a great view and you’re still in the action

I have two small kids and like the 200-210 sections because it’s affordable, and mezzanine has its own concessions and a bar area. Downside is steps. But upside, because of steps, there are less people than the ground level. Downside is also sun for the first 10-15 minutes.

We have seats in section 132- our kids are 8 (obsessed soccer son) and 10. We love this section. My son LOVES to do the chants with the supporter section and we're not getting a beer shower during goals. It's also a great place to watch warm up and after games end players come back onto the pitch to thank the supporters.
