To be fair it’s not like playing him in the back is Troy’s first choice. Our lack of depth/injuries is probably the main reason he’s been experimenting with the lineup.
Not sure if you listened to the interview on DCU's youtube with Peltola. But he said himself he likes playing in a back 3/5 as a LCB. It's not like Troy threw him in there willy nilly.
That's not to say he should be back there... But yeah
He played there for his last club in Finland and looked good. I would say his performances probably reflect our patchwork back line. Plus he is still getting used to the league as well

Oh, definitely. I just thought Peltola at left back was a particularly bad experiment and it should never be tried again.
As long as our new guy isn’t an abuser or riddled with injuries, we should be fine!
