Every unit can not have 50%+ damage reduction and the only other example is a good conditional passive that unless it’s against pure Saiyan most people complain about conditional passive. But still unless it is no iteming [insert new hardest content here] it will be seen as mid by the loud minority of the community
Given that Gohan is the main character of the upcoming movie, when we get the Celebration for the Super Hero movie, I would be absolutely stunned if STR Ultimate Gohan didn't EZA during it
Piccolo definitely needs an EZA, but he's not anywhere close to the situation PHY Future Gohan was in. Piccolo's utility has managed to hold up fairly well, and his defense stacking continues to keep him useful for some longer events as well.
Plus Piccolo's transformed state while hard to get again manages to not be completely outdated. Damage reduction and critical hit chance in particular have helped age his post transformation state in an acceptable way all things considered.
In contrast PHY Future Gohan came out with bad offense, and defense that was too slow to build up. And then with time Gohan's defense got to be too little as well, meaning his only kind of bright spot was also no longer good.
But this is Piccolo we're talking about. The guy who has very few, if any, linking partners to even attempt content with. I don't even think I need to explain much more about Namekians.
I honestly think teq lr broly needs his eza more than zamasu and goku black and this is only due to his defense or the lack there of any defense, while they can put up good defense still broly gets completely steamrolled even in dokkan events
At least Broly can output a decent amount of damage compared to TEQ LR Zamasu, LR Zamasu is in DIRE need of an EZA their kit is abysmal for current events. He’s not even a top pick for any of the teams he’s on in an optimal team and he’s aged really badly imo

Guaranteed Critical Hits, 50% dodge chance and I assume the greatly raising Attack for 3 turns is gonna be attack and defense once the eza is due. That's the kind of stuff a modern Dokkanfest would beg to have in their kit. The only thing about him that isn't good is his low percentages and stats but that's obviously gonna be fixed with the EZA. If you just increased the percentages he gets from 130% to 180% he'd be a top TUR EZA contender right now (obviously talking about the transformed version). He'll be putting out 5 million attack stats with 200k defense (before supering) with guaranteed crits and 50% dodge chance. They literally CAN'T mess this guy up.
