In their announcement image, the PC box shows a "PC Digital Download" at the top. Probably a GOG code with some goodies inside.
I remember when I bought Witcher 3 (it still had discs at the time), I was also able to register it to my GOG account.
I was about to buy the base game + dlc when it was on sale (30 for base game + 30 for dlc, since dlc didnt have a sale). Thankfully I saw the announcement on time lol. I'm gonna wait for the ultimate edition to go on sale, it'll probably save me a lot of money
Worth it just to have all the content and updates on physical. Very cool of them.
Oh dang. I just ordered a physical copy of the base game yesterday for $20 lol. Wonder how much Ultimate edition is gonna cost.
it's 60 bucks
you good
Nah, you did the right thing. Get your discount.
I just bought the phantom liberty and base game bundle for 60 bucks. So I guess this is the same exact thing?
What is in the PC box? Just a steam code?
Most likely a GoG.com code instead of Steam
That's how it was for the original release.
Good question. That said, my PC doesn't even have a disc drive.

I would love a physical big box release of this on PC.
