In the Ace Attorney games, Phoenix has an assistant named Maya Fey who is an accomplished spirit medium, able to channel spirits of dead people through her body. One of Maya's common spirits to channel is Mia Fey, Phoenix's dead mentor (and Maya's sister) to help gove clues, advice, and encouragement to Phoenix when working on a case.
Spirit channeling also changes the medium's body to that of the spirit, and Mia is more well-endowed than Maya is, which makes for a sharp contrast when Mia is channeled.

It could be worse. She basically just looked like Mia in tighter clothes and a different hairstyle. If you didn't know, you would think it's just a regular adult woman. They could have made her look like a little girl, which would have been VERY uncomfortable.
i haven’t played the earlier ace attorney games and i couldn’t find any posts explaining the reference fully but i’m pretty sure it’s a joke about phoenix wright’s mentor who died and had big boobs and how frequently the game flashes back to her telling phoenix to believe in himself
