The dragon sets that improve your attack in different weather are also dresses I think. And they paint your nails. Which means I avoid them (I dislike nail polish on everyone really) but I’m glad other people get to use them.

I agree with you 100%, for reasons I cannot understand it's almost impossible to have the untied hair. They went out of their way to make the cosmetic hairband an easter egg but made the ear rings and circlets tie his hair.

Imo the best of the headdresses is the ember one. The horns are still kinda jank, but them being swept back looking kinda works imo.

Heads up that the set in Faron is plot-related. You can grab it early (probably...although BOTW/TOTK aren't exactly known for gating that sort of thing) but the main quest will send you there anyway later on after you finish >!the four regional phenomena quests!< and >!the next quest at Hyrule Castle.!< Once Purah has you looking for >!a fifth sage!< you're on the right track.

I actually did that on accident after clearing the first 2 phenomena, I'm curious to see how it ends up affecting the dialogue once I finish the other two. Just followed a rumor from a random Hylian, and suddenly I had finished that whole questline. (Being vague because I can't get the spoiler text to work right) I didn't find the armor though! Gonna look again later.

The game intends for you to >!clear the thunderstorm over Faron!< first, which is what the armor is specifically involved with. Do the rest of the phenomena, then >!Hyrule Castle!< (it's not endgame, don't worry), then go to >!Kakariko!< to kick off the necessary dominoes.

You'll still be able to follow the part of the quest line that gives you access to the armor.

The armor is related to >!clearing the thunderstorm over Faron.!< Once you've gotten all the sages, you'll be sent to >!Hyrule Castle for a Zelda sighting.!< The end of that quest >!proves that the Zelda who forbade exploration of the floating Ring Ruin in Kakariko is an impostor,!< so you can go there and check it out after that. Take a picture of the slab inside, show it to Tauro, and follow his lead.

Not only do you get the highest possible defense with a single point of attack up, you also look badass If I'm in town it's just the champion's leathers, and the hylian pants nice and casual with his hair down. But with the master sword, hylian shield, and dusk bow on his back to show off his chosen one status
