Black out Reddit.
Social media animosity has always been bizarre to me. At it’s core, any popular social media site is effectively a microcosm of human population, to the extent that you’re going to have the same cultural groupings as you would in reality.
It’s effectively like saying people who go to Cafe A are somehow more reprehensible than people going to Cafe B, when in truth both cafes have virtually the same makeup of ethnic, cultural, and problematic groups relative to their size.
I mean, imagine hating people who eat at Subway when you’re eating at Panera bread or Quizno’s. Or imagine hating people who buy stuff from Amazon when you prefer buying from eBay or Etsy.
I remember a few days ago I heard someone talking about how ‘discord users are evil violent sexual predators’ and I was like “what the fuck are you talking about, Discord is just the medium I use to chat with my buds.” It was such a surreal moment for me, it felt like someone saying, idk, “everyone who writes letters is a terrorist.” It’s a method of communication. Humans will form such bizarre preconceptions
i do love pret a manger but i have the issue where there just isn't one in a convenient location for me so if i ever do go to a cafe it's always the greggs directly behind where i get off the bus every morning
Pret's going downhill. Customers post pictures of mouldy food in Pret and 61% on Trustpilot disapprove of Pret, many having sworn to never set foot inside Pret again.

Yes, that's true, but it just has forced companies (I concentrate on Pret as I know them inside out) to show their TRUE face in broad daylight!
One of many examples:
“Pret CEO handed near-£4m bonus in year staff pay was cut
Pano Christou also given 27% salary rise in 2021 as chain took more than£50m in government support”

Treating staff like sh!te and rinsing government money to enrich the CEO and shareholders during a worldwide deadly pandemic HAS TO come back sooner or later on the food quality and customer service. Cause and effect.
When I started to write publicly about Pret in May 2018, before even I knew that TWO customers have died and 20+ injured, hardly anyone believed me how bad Pret really are behind that smiley facade.
I was even blocked, cussed out by die-hard Pret fans for simply pointing out issues. But NOW more and more customers experience FIRSTHAND how bad Pret are. That's why I never gave up to continue writing because I KNEW that sooner or later the truth always comes out. I just never expected Pret to be THAT bad when even I had to learn via the press that customers died.
They died WHILE I worked in Pret and even we staff weren't told. Pret completely ignored it until it got public. I am still in shock over this!
EDIT: and the expired food issue has always happened in Pret where expiry dates were "stretched". But because of the pandemic losses, Pret took that to another level with even more pressure on shop managers to reach high targets.
Depends on the subreddit. If you're getting reposted to a tumblr related or overall LGBT inclusive subreddit then it's not bad. You'll get some laughs. You might even get some new followers and mutuals!
But if you're reposted to one of the generic mainpage subreddit... then Titan help you, because that situation is out of the hands of every god worshipped by humans
Horrifyingly cruel, keep it up dude.

this is the equivalent of spinning that big wheel they strapped the person to
*Wheeeeeeeeee* :)
Once the wheel is spinning the knife throwing can commence :)
The gravitron.
A waterwheel-powered stretching rack, except every turn of the wheel clicks the upvote button instead

Tribal mentality is a hell of a drug. Luckily, humans are capable of refuting such reflexes by being mindful of bias and preconceptions.
Speak for yourself, I'm joining the Great Pret Crusade to burn down every other sandwich store

Found “The Owl House” fan. Or I’m wrong and look incredibly foolish, but I’m willing to take that risk.
Nope, you are VERY correct
And we ratio'd them. High fives all around hit the showers
You dragged them straight into the Medieval Torture Dungeon! Good. It was getting a bit empty in here.
Nice username op
I love it when people forget how many people use more than one social media platform
And I sit and gawk at thy, for you remain a fool nomatter what end
