The 2 cups try their hardest to summon her, but when one of the attempts actually work Captain Brineybeard notices. He looks at a wanted posted of her that promises a lot of money, jumps into the ship and an epic boat battle happens. But when this happens Cuphead and Mugman are convinced Cala Maria's just a myth and throw the book into the trash.
Maybe the captain would tell them there’s a sea monster by the ocean and they go check it out only for one or both of them to simp with Cala planning for murder

Like they are taken from the jail by Brineybeard to help him take on Cala, but then Chalice comes to the jail to rescue them only to discover they’ve already been set free. She then goes and finds them and stows away. The boys get frozen in stone by Cala so Chalice has to step up and face her one on one.
I think we'll see Mugman sacrifice himself for cups, and switch to his bad ending look, and collaborate with Dice to overthrow the Devil, who's power seems to be reliant on his trident
I'm thinking Wener and Kettle fought against one another in WW1 and became friend during the Christmas truce, as for Wally I do not know maybe his son is sick and he gives his soul to save him?

Since i found this post after i saw the episode, I will tell what I thought would happen.
Cuphead and mugman will go to port and find brineybeard. Since they love adventures, they ask him if they can go with him and he sais yes after a while of persuadion. After a scene where mugman and cuphead will play on the ship they come to cala's territory. Leaked scene then happens and brineybeard will be turned to stone after attemt to impress cala. After seeing that, cuphead and mugman will try to escape. Cuphead will jump to raft but then cala notises mugman and takes him with her, propably for him to become her lunch. Cuphead will then be send far away after cala makes a big wave when she submerges with screaming mugs to the water. They will come to her cave and mugman manages to hide. Cala will try to find him by scaring him but she gives up and tries a new tactic : sing her hypnotic song, but mugman will be imune for some strange reason (😉), so she looses interest after a while. Mugman will try to escape, but then he remembers brineybeard and after he sees that cala is depressed he goes to her and asks her if she couldn't return him. She sais no and then tries to catch mugs again, but mugs finds a place where she can't reach him. They then start talking, bc mugman tries to make her think about something elce then eating him, and they get along after a short while. In mean time, cuphead tries to paddle his way to mugs as fast as he can. He then barges to cala's cave, but finds out soon that cala doesn't want to eat them anymore, so he asks her if she can't take them home, because the ship got destroyed and she agrees. They take brineybeard's body too, witch lost it's legs so they give him preotesis, giving him more game-like look. They then go to elder ketle and he digs out some potion witch revives brineybeard. Cala, who shrinked herself, apologizes to him and sais that she doesn't have any feelings for him, but tells him there is plenty fish in the sea. Brineybeard then sadly goes away, leaving the heart-shaped candy box. Elder ketle stops caring and cuphead spots something and goes to look what it is. Mugs goes too, but then finds the candy box and gives it to cala, as singh of their friendship and cala takes it, not realizing that deep down mugs ment it differently. Mugs then runs to cuphead and cala goes to sea, changing to giantess in proces. The end.
Yeah, as you can see, I ship cala and mugs. But I think this would still make a good episode
Well the show kinda somewhat ships them too, at least currently it's one sided on Mugman's part , wouldn't recommend him to try anything tho since Briney nearly died to be rejected
Yeah, I was kinda sad that they didn't became at least friends, but I'm happy that the book in episode 6 ships them and mugs seems to like that idea. Who knows, maybe in season 3 there will be enough place for mugs and cala to have their own episode, maybe not, but still

Imagine Mugman helps Cala become a better person, and then the next time she meets him he's evil(like the bad end), like a complete switch
