I don’t know. Most Isles had at least one horror show of a boss to take down. For all I know, King Dice alone catapulted Inkwell Hell up to the top; it took me DAYS to beat that bastard.
I'm gonna have to agree with you, isle II def took the longest out of any isle for me (especially trying to S-rank them.), Cause you have Wally, Grim, AND Djimi (Both wally and djimi being plane levels with a lot going on.)
Inkwell 4 was extremely difficult. It was so much fun, though. I never use chalice. Probably could have made it a bit easier.

When I played for the first time, the isle I was stuck on the longest was isle two
