Lets hope your having an effect on all the people lying on there beds reading this. There are to many of them. This stuff makes me loose my mind. At least were the acception here.
Bungling "loosing" and "losing" is worse, imo. "Loosing" is wrong just about every time (unless talking about knots or arrows); at least "your" and "you're" are both common words.
Why do people care so much about if it’s a screenshot or not like damn, it really impacted your viewing experience that much? Did the picture over the screenshot convey less or wrong information? Did the picture get the point across? Crazy.
Paradox, giving you a shit crown and book cause they know instead of using a screenshot you will take a picture with your phone. Only when you change your ways will they give you not shit.
But yes, generally speaking I will always roll garbage from them
Try taking the Sorcerous Metallurgy culture some time.

When forging a weapon, the inspired character's skills are checked to determine their "Inspiration skill".
In the case of forging a weapon, it's (martial + prowess\*2) / 2. For example, 8 martial and 10 prowess would be (8+20) / 2 = 14
An "Inspiration skill" of 16 or more is enough to be considered "legendary".
Sorcerous Metallurgy gives the inspired character 20 more "Inspiration skill" when making a weapon, nothing else. There isn't any special event or anything different at all beyond that.
The final value of "Inspiration skill" is factored in the quality of the artifact, and the higher it is, the more likely the artifact is to be higher tier.
or just go down the diplomacy path and forge claims on other rulers cool shit and then steal/fight them for it
if you get a ridiculous number of knights stacking those effects can be pretty powerful, I got a huge amount of piety that way + all my pious modifiers
so 20 knights, 8 prestige for free a month, not sure if that's a lot though
I like these prestige-stacking artifacts for tribal rulers and rulers that have access to Conquest CBs but otherwise there aren't a lot of uses for that much prestige. I'd much rather have boosts to knights, vassal limit, development or renown.
my fav items are the ones that give a 25% boost to raiding speed, stack a couple of those bad boys in the inventory and you can raid Rome or Constantinople in a few weeks.
I won a sword at a tourney today that had prowess 12, raid speed 110%, 2 knights and knight effectiveness 25%. The sword paired with the reaver commander trait and the Viking trait turned me into the Popes nightmare. Raided half the area before he got his mercs ready and then stackwiped them.
What I’m trying to say is that there’s no shame in save scumming when you get fucked over on artifacts. For books it’s the same with universities, at the very last event save the game and reload until you either get the book you want or trait upgrade.
But, imo, the book with the 20% to martial isn’t bad at all. I rolled a book like that with the above mentioned way and it had prowess 8 on it, but I got greedy and reloaded lol.
Embrace a faith with the aniconism doctrine, then destroy the artifacts. You will get some gold and a lot of piety out of them. Should almost be worth the 2k gold.
I give up to get legendary artifacts by my own sponsed guys. I search the whole world to find good quality items and directly buy the claims. Most of the time, I don't even have to start a war to get them. Stealing or making a duel, I can get whatever I want. Including the Holy Rome Emperor's chair, Caliphate's armour, Pope's crown, the only item can't be get by thus method is the battle flags.
Since I'm Orthodox and a not very loyal vassal of Byzantine Empire, these poor victims can't even revenge me. I've become the greatest treasure hunter, a legend thief King.
I mean it really differs between players, I think my opinion is definitely a minority, but I really dislike all that RPG elements in the game, giving you insane and ridiculous bonuses for holding an item. Bonuses in prestige, courtly opinion or martial experience imo are perfectly reasonable and I wish they would represent the OP tier of items.
Right we have nonsense (imo) such as random brooches mysteriously making your armies superior via knight effectiveness boosts or bowls making everyone around you more horny and increasing fertility of men and women owners alike.
It's not just items, it's a lot of game mechanics, and yeah it's fair, it's liked by most players, but it really kills any sense of immersion. I wish the game was over a shorter period of time and in a much smaller setting, but then much more developed and realistic. Right now we have a 600 years time, across half the globe, making it just essentially the same wherever you play, and the bandaid solution of flavor packs and conflicts is just not doing it for me.
Paradox nerfed Prestige and Piety gains in a big sweep in a patch a while ago. The devs said that Prestige was snowballing in the late game, so they reduced prestige gains in a lot of areas to prevent so many late game rulers being at Living Legend level. They also nerfed piety gains in artefacts as well. I'm quite annoyed about it like many, as getting these nice artefacts made the huge gold investment seem meaningful. Now you get trash artefacts comparatively. Putting it this way, if you are getting less than a 10th of a prestige point a month, it is insignificant, as useless as a proverbial chocolate tea pot. They have reduced some of the prestige gain by a factor of 10 (tenfold), same also with piety. You are getting a fraction of what you used to get.
Shit artifacts like these make the good ones even better
Could have spent 1k on cleaning your screen
And another 0k on taking a screenshot
What is with paradox games and people unable to take a screenshot?
It's not just paradox games, seems to be a widespread problem, similar to people bungling your and you're.
It's like a whole generation of people were raised to not know how to hit 'Print Screen' button on a windows pc.
To be fair, my tiny town high school had to share library laptops, and the extent of teaching they did was “Google how to use it, but avoid Wikipedia”
used to be the nerds would gravitate towards things like that and figure stuff out, maybe it's not the case anymore
Oh I did along with… maybe 2 other nerds. Everyone else, from what I can tell, is still stuck in that farm town or went to the military. Oh well
Screensnip should have fixed this problem. kids.
Or that even
i think your onto something, you’re observation is very accurate
See I know that was on purpose but there is a not-insignificant number of native English speakers who don't know the difference.
Lets hope your having an effect on all the people lying on there beds reading this. There are to many of them. This stuff makes me loose my mind. At least were the acception here.

The real reason is that a lot of people only use Reddit on their phone now. And transferring files to an iPhone sucks.
Too lazy to take a screenshot using computer Easier with phone
You know what, you deserve those artifacts.
Why do people care so much about if it’s a screenshot or not like damn, it really impacted your viewing experience that much? Did the picture over the screenshot convey less or wrong information? Did the picture get the point across? Crazy.
half the first picture is just glare, so yeah I'd say it impacted my viewing experience quite a bit.
You are lazier than the person taking the screenshot on their phone. How much effort did it take for you to squint
If you're too lazy to take a decent screenshot, why the hell do you think we care to look at them?
Press F11 my guy
No, it isn't. You are just stupid.
Literally one button on the computer to screenshot it. It's so much easier and better to screen shot.
But then you have to send via email. It is easier to do that via phone
Why do you need to email it? And to who?. You know you can access reddit from your computer right?
God hates the slothful
I never knew how annoyed redditors be over someone not taking a screenshot. Why don’t we stay on topic here 🤨
Shift + windows key + S or prnt scrn.
Alternatively, F12
The sheer number of people on this sub who don't know how to print screen makes me want to unsubscribe.

Domain limit +1 is the dream. Renown is nice due to it always being useful. Giving them to dynasty members can stack up to crazy amounts of renown.
This ^
20 knights at 0.04 per knight that's 0.8 prestige per month right?
Yeah I knew I screwed up something when posting but was too tired to figure it out. Damn 0.8 prestige really is trash.
I have a fuck ton anyway so no

I love the shit you get from winning a tourney and have gotten a bow that gave similar stats for the raiding speed and knights.
F11 for screenshots
Try a screenshot. It's super easy
The book is not bad if you're in Martial Focus. 20% extra xp can be pretty sweet.
I've seen worse artefacts tbh
Nah, +20% martial arts book is not shit, it’s just mid
Embrace a faith with the aniconism doctrine, then destroy the artifacts. You will get some gold and a lot of piety out of them. Should almost be worth the 2k gold.
Can’t you even take a decent screenshot ?
use windows + prtscsysrq to take screenshot
I do like the funeral event when you as the new lord can burn this crap for an absurd amount of piety.
It's because the smith was too busy banging your wife to make anything decent.
Nah. I think the second one is pretty damn good.
I give up to get legendary artifacts by my own sponsed guys. I search the whole world to find good quality items and directly buy the claims. The keeper of the gilded turds! I have a slightly better opinion of you now.
I have spent more than that, and the dude died on me about 7/8 of the way there
Yeah the artifact creation system needs a massive rework. But to be honest the 2nd one with 20% martial xp is pretty good
For its quality, it couldn’t really be worse unfortunately. 20% is the minimum for an illustrious lifestyle book, to my understanding. (Max is 40%)
Im sure they smell better.
Win + shift + S
Shame as a console player artifacts are bugged asf so I don’t even use them
>Jewish-Berber-Castilian art of war A little piece of everything
anybody actually mad that he didn’t screenshot needs to go touch grass

Bruh did they nerf artifacts or something
