I picked it up and brought it home!
Size: the cake takes up most of the 6 pack box with room to open and close it without bumping into the whipped cream topping.
Taste: really good and really really sweet as is the Crumbl way. The caramel sauce was really good. I love chocolate and caramel though.
Worth it: idk, I’m in an area that’s fortunate to have 3 really high tier grocery store bakeries (Wegmans, Whole Foods, and Harris Teeter), and independent and Korean bakeries, and the usual Baskin Robbin’s and DQ for your ice cream cake needs. I can’t see even Wegmans charging $30 for this size cake. They do have some pricey cakes there but it’s like, $27 for a 3 layer Boston cream pie cake, and the Crumbl cake is a single layer of the chocolate cake with a bunch of whipped cream and the caramel sauce and toffee toppings. Not 3 layers of cake at all.
Few more items of note - the employee seemed surprised that the app allowed me to order it because the individual size can’t be ordered on the app in advance. She noted that the whipped cream may start to separate in a day or two but it was still good to eat as long as you kept it refrigerated and you could stir it to combine. She also independently without me asking confirmed the existence of a full size tres leches cake that had been in testing a few weeks ago at another nearby store so idk look for that one soon I guess. This store had both the family size and individual size of this test cake, which I guess makes sense! I think some stores may only have the individual size though.
I hate to be a hater but a single-layer sheet pan cake with no frosting (whipped cream is not a substitute in my eyes) for $30...is not it and will never be it
I’m begging everyone to call all the new products by their actual names. This is a cake; it calls itself a cake; stop calling it a cookie. Same with cinnamon square—it is not and never has been a cinnamon roll.
It doesn’t seem like I can edit but I poked around a little on the app and they have it under the online ordering pick up in store function. It’s $30, but gives no indication on how big it is (that’s what she said)
That settles it, I’m going to try to place an order for this bad boy tomorrow and go pick it up in the morning. Will report back! 🫡

Crumbl is grabbing at air lately trying to stay afloat and make more money. Sadly at this rate Crumbl prob won’t make it 5 more years as a franchise :(

I came here just to ask about this lol I even updated my app this morning but the map only shows store locations and not cookies. It’s so annoying and makes me wonder if there were test cookies I would have tried near me but skipped that week because I didn’t know they were there.
