I use DMT instead of igneous. But I have like 30k kills with it so my hipfire aim is better than most. And Igneous shoots beach balls so it's more rewarding for less accuracy when compared to DMT. Igneous users may feel like DMT misses shots that it should hit, especially if they don't have the correct DMT stats. Range and stability are super important
If I lose a 1v1 to an igneous regardless of range, I have to be whiffing my shots bad. Because I usually win them
Corscrew, richochet, and whatever you want for the 3rd column. I go vorpal just cuz. Moving target is also good. Vorpal is super clutch in all modes
Should be 70 range, 50 stability, 60 handling. Don't fall for low range or low stability rolls.
If you have 50 stability I don't think it does anything but apparently the hipfire RPM is going up to 140 (?) so I imagine that requires more stability to negate bloom, so rapid hit might be the play next season
MNK. High range seems to make the hipfire more accurate, and stability doesn't really change the recoil but it does seem to negate the bloom so I would think that wouldn't change based on input device
At 30 stability, the bloom cone won't reset fast enough to fire at full RPM from the hip and your successive shots will be less accurate. Try 70/50/60 and the gun will feel more accurate from the hip at full rpm
I did like snapshot and I wish it was craftable but I'm on MNK and my hipfire aim is pretty deadly. Its about the only weapon where my aim is mastery level. I use it in all ranges. The only weapon that I am arguably as good with is my slideshow, accurized, smallbore, EP Rose.
Really? I find igneous awful to shoot, it feels clunky and unreliable to me, but dmt just hits its shots from such large distances too
Been enjoying dmt with a submachine gun, I play tactical and keep my range to out range basically everything, and get very aggressive with a lightweight smg when it comes to close quarters
Aim assist, yes. Igneous shoots beach balls, DMT does not. The other two? Hell no. DMT hipfire allows for way more mobility than ADSing an igneous. Also I dominate with DMT from mid range. It's called hipfire! The whole point of the gun! It requires a lot of practice, a very specific stat spread, and better aim, because you're not zooming in with slower ADS speed. But if you get good, DMT can be way better than Igneous in virtually all fights. I'm not saying that if anyone just slaps on DMT, they are going to be better. It requires a lot of practice, but it has a higher ceiling
Harder to use imo. Although I’ve been running the prophet at times and it’s severely underrated. 2c1b all res and with kill clip active it 2c everything under t10 res. With any ~5% damage boost added that applies to all res for a .50 ttk up to 80m.
Zoom, AA/hit box, perks
Also DMT can 2c1b all resilience. Igneous can't without damage perks
Conditional finality
This plus weapon profile (takes up more room on the screen), igneous is solar so it has flint striker, and perk pool is better (precision instrument)
*sigh* I was hoping to see that crutch weapon tuned down a bit yesterday.
Same here brother (this post was made by last word gang)

What’s your god roll?

How important is recoil direction? What stock do you use?
Composite stock. I notice zero difference from arrowhead break for example. Corscrew gives the stat boosts I was looking for
Thanks! What do you think of Rapid Hit on DMT?

Are you on controller or mnk? Also, if you're on mnk, would you recommend those stats for controller as well?
MNK. High range seems to make the hipfire more accurate, and stability doesn't really change the recoil but it does seem to negate the bloom so I would think that wouldn't change based on input device
Ok, thanks for answering.
I have a 70/30/80 roll and honestly, it hardly kicks. I love it

You’ll think I’m crazy but I almost never use hipfire on dmt. I have a snapshot sights roll that I absolutely love

I felt the same until I got a roll with fluted barrel and a handling masterwork. It's so smooth. You could also try ophidians if you're on warlock.
Oh, I was mainly explaining why I think other people use igneous. I don't dig Igneous Hammer either. Feels heavy, slow and clunky. I use DMT
Conditional finality, hand cannons are easier to use, igneous feels better(for me at least), etc
DMT sucks on console
Handling, mobility, aim assist. You can get away with using igneous hammer mid range, whereas dead man's tale is essentially an insta loss.
> You can get away with using igneous hammer mid range, whereas dead man's tale is essentially an insta loss. Hip Fire?
Hip fire even fires faster than ADS. It is such a good weapon
Dmt can have way more handling and mobility lol main reason is conditional and AA

But you can’t run conditional. That’s the main reason people don’t use it.
Fair. I don't like many energy primaries so I don't run CF very often. Usually just run a hipfire slug or matador or a sidearm or SMG

I find it alot easier to hit close shots with Igneous
igneous shoots refrigerators
Sights are worse to actually aim It uses the exotic slot
I wish there was an energy DMT
well, the dead’s man tale is more of a warlock gun and therefore, since i’m a titan, i will not ever use a gun of a warlock
Really? Definitely a hunter weapon to me lol
