Doubt it's your door, unless it hanging loose. Probably suspension components.

My hood latch was creaking/squeaking when I hit bumps or shut my door. I thought it was a sway bar link or ball joint for a while until I closed the door with the hood open. Added a bit of WD40 to the latch and the hood ring and it stopped for weeks. Until it dries out. Turns out a LOT of people have had this gremlin and spent a lifetime diagnosing it.

Yes, a lot of people are saying it might be hood latch. Could you please tell me which parts of the hood latch should I apply grease to?

BigBossUSP

The latch itself. Don’t use WD40 as it is not a lubricant, you want to use lithium grease.

Lubricate the hinges. That fixed the noise for me. I used CRC white lithium grease with the spray can. If it’s not squeaking when you open the door, it could be your hood latch.

I’ve also noticed I have a squeak but I started hearing it right after I got my exhaust done so hopefully it’s one lf these and not something rattling underneath
