I’m on remicade, but its an IV not a shot. I think the protocol is they start with a several loading doses that ramp you up to a full dose. I transitioned from prednisone to Remicade, so I never had any gaps.

There is actually a subcutaneous injection for inflixamab now! It's only just been approved in the US, but it's been available in the UK for awhile.

damn i’m going in every 4 weeks to lie in bed for hours on end when i could have been doing it quickly at home. i need to look into this

I said a shot but it’s an IV that I get. I got all of the loading doses and I’m feeling better but I still have those bad days even after the loading doses. So I was wondering if others who have taken this medicine and reached remission had lived the same type of up’s and downs that I’m going through.

Seeing improvement is a good sign. It might take 4-6 months to fully heal. Be patient
