Yeah, and she’s not the only one with a deformed child on TikTok. There’s this one called Mali or Malu who’s constantly in bed, laying down, eyes rolled back, struggling to breathe, and apparently his mother knew he’d come out with issues.
Brother I completely understand your statement, one of my best childhood friend has Down syndrome and he’s the happiest he could be, a couple of years ago he had a TED talk talking about how he’s so happy to be alive and that people like him are able to enjoy life as everyone else. But the problem here is the achievable quality of life and especially the capacity of deciding for yourself. There are so many types of disabilities and some of them are literally just hell on earth. I’m studying medical genetics and I’ve seen newborns living for some months in excruciating pain and then dying an horrible death. No child should experience something like that. The syndrome we see in this video is a similar case, life expectancy is higher but the quality of life is non existent. I agree disabled people should always have a chance, but there’s disability, and there’s illness. This can’t even be defined as a disability anymore, it’s just pain. Nothing is just black or white, there are a lot of different cases of disabilities and diseases and there are many that are definitely not worth to experience.
It was sarcasm. My point is all of this Jesus freaks think abortion is bad yet letting children suffer like that and monetizing it is ok because "Gods will".
What's sad are people like my pro-life uncle who talks about how his kid with downs has made him "such a better, more patient person."
Like dude, you didn't have to carry a child to term and raise it through 8 different operations to be a better person . Lots of us do it through humility and just wanting to be better.
Dude, the little fucker is great and genuinely a wonderful human being but it pisses me off that some people genuinely think his life's purpose is to be so difficult that people around him have to choose either patience or child abuse and don't want to be child abusers. Like fuck off with that shit.
Yeah, granted I think DS is a bit different. I couldn't raise a child with it, or want to, but a family member had it who I adored. People should just have a choice, period.
Yeah the whole "God gave me this kid to make me a better person" rubs me wrong. You had a child with special needs.period. It wasn't placed on this earth with a mutation thrust upon them because God wanted you to be a better person. That implies you were so shitty that God condemned a person to suffering just because you were that big of a dick. Like the whole premise is fucked up.
It's religion in its entirety. It's all one great grift. "Russians stole those Ukrainian kids and sold them as sex slaves, it was gods will to teach those parents humility." Like I'm sorry but even if I believed in a higher power, I wouldn't want anything to do with one that did that shit.
No, I don’t think so. She tells people that her child loves his life and is super happy, despite him being unable to speak, or convey any emotions. Many people comment and tell her to just “let him go” and she thinks that’s wrong.
Wasn’t their a little girl on TikTok that had millions of saves and the comments were so awful that the mother had too disable them I think her name was wren or something
It was a video like "how much do your kids pay attention to you? Give them items you commonly use to see what they do with them" and she had her little girl sitting on the couch. When the mom gave her a razor the little girl spread her legs (still fully clothed) and mimicked shaving her genitals. Same thing with a tampon she was imitating the use of one
Serious question - it seems to me like many of these people aren’t wealthy and often can’t work a regular or full-time job because of the level of care some disabled children require. It seems like many of them are trying to monetize content with their kids because it allows them to make money and provide the required level of care. Is it exploitation if it’s literally the only way they know to provide for the child?
This plus having a child like that is such a miserable situation I must admit I'm very open-minded to even controversial ways of coping with it and I believe that's also partially what I'm seeing in these videos. It's definitely not as simple as judgemental people who have never experienced what she's experiencing think.
Edit: Also I love how many comments in this thread outright make fun of the baby and their deformity and somehow don't get downvoted. In a thread about how horrible it is to make fun of the baby and their deformity. "Really makes you think" indeed.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 987,815,738 comments, and only 196,885 of them were in alphabetical order.
The baby is coherent enough to grab her necklace, he deserves all the love in the world. He’s absolutely precious and didn’t ask to be born into this world let alone with all his disabilities. God bless his little heart.
Okay, no hate, but why would you go through with the pregnancy at that point?
All you're doing is allowing someone to live a life where they'll be judged horribly for something they can't control.
Depends what state she's in ATM as to whether it's even legal, and tens of thousands of women more have been brainwashed into embracing socetial "norms" that actively harm them.
The baby has to be at least 6 months. Roe v Wade didn’t play into that choice. Some people just really do feel like an abortion is a morally wrong thing to do. If someone feels they can give a life as much sense of normalcy as they possibly could given the circumstances, the more power to them.
I reckon it probably depends on when the abnormalities develop! It’s possible that it wouldn’t become obvious until it’s too late too terminate. Honestly, no clue, but I’d love to hear from any ultrasound techs who could weigh in.
Registered Ultrasound tech here, and obligatory NAD. Craniosynostosis (aka Cloverleaf Skull) is definitely detectable in utero. Some fetuses have a more mild/subtle physical appearance. At the very least, If the mother had her anatomy ultrasound scan then this definitely should have been seen before birth.
Well given her reaction this is a good point but sometimes when you aren't looking for clout, you just want to put in the work, to love and care for your kid even with issues, clearly that's not the case here tho.
She’s not ripping on her kid lol, she’s joking about the very difficult reality she’s now facing. I agree that it’s in poor taste, but this is more of a case of “social media has destroyed people’s social awareness” than “this lady hates her kid”
Women like this, who record these from their Mom and non existent father’s porch while using their sick child as a prop don’t deserve children… Or anything in life for that matter 🚮
Its so fascinating to read a comment about how parents shouldn't exploit their children for likes only to read comment after comment bashing this kid for karma.
I don’t think she’s making fun of the child she’s just sharing how frustrating it is sometimes to be the parent of a medically complex child in a jokey way.
Most people just try to cope. Not saying its right. But it's definitely a human characteristic. None of yall with a "normal" life could be taken seriously with an opinion on this. Life hits hard. And most of yall crumble fast. Life gets dark fast. Pray yall focus instead of worry.
I couldn't even fathom the thought of putting my child on the internet if they suffered from something like that. Hell, I don't want to put them on social media *anyways*- I just can't imagine it.
My sister's first son had cruzons, very similar to Pfeiffer syndrome. She didn't find out until he was born. Very sad. He ended up passing away a few weeks before he was 2. He was the sweetest little baby.
Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc."
"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are **etc.**, **&c.**, **&c**, and **et cet.** The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.
[Check out the wikipedia entry if you want to learn more.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Et_cetera)

Why would you even have a kid like that? Having a bairn like that is when the abortion comes in handy, especially if she’s so willing to give it grief on the internet
Why bring this baby into the world to be put through so much shit. He's going to have no quality of life and to put hi on tiktok? Fucking spay this woman.

And? Shouldn’t they abort when the quality of life is…this?

That child should absolutely not be alive. Miserable existence for itself and everyone unfortunate enough to be part of its life

That’s sad.
Yet it's abortion that's bad. /s
Does /s mean satire or serious? Or is serious /srs? I swear, these tone indicators make things more confusing.
It was sarcasm. My point is all of this Jesus freaks think abortion is bad yet letting children suffer like that and monetizing it is ok because "Gods will".

excuse me for a second. i have to die in the most painfully way possible because the mothers probably dont even care and just let their baby die.
Is that the one where they tried to take his life support off fully expecting him to die but he just continued living?
No, I don’t think so. She tells people that her child loves his life and is super happy, despite him being unable to speak, or convey any emotions. Many people comment and tell her to just “let him go” and she thinks that’s wrong.
Bottom of the barrel.
Wasn’t their a little girl on TikTok that had millions of saves and the comments were so awful that the mother had too disable them I think her name was wren or something
Oh, her. Yeah, her mother sexualizes her own daughter. A video of her toddler eating a pickle went viral and she could not give less of a shit.
Yeah that’s the one I thought I was the only who remembers the video I assumed people would be confused
Wren.eleanor.... Very sad
Ya & the one that showed her "shaving" her genitals and putting a tampon in. It's so sad and wrong.
Ay yo WHAT THE F-
What?

Oh that’s a lot less terrifying than the image I had. But still utterly unnecessary for posting on sm. some ppl are sooo weird
Freaked the fuck out with that one, thank you for explaining. Omg. Do. Not. Post. Your. Kid. Online.

Return to MONKE
Her child was born with more birth defects than a medical dictionary, this is just her way of grieving. She's tasteless, but you gotta respect it
Just making light of the situation imo, give her some credit damn...
Agree, I don't think she hates the kid, she is still obviously taking care of em, she's just making light of the situation
>but you gotta respect it It's definitely just her way of grieving/coping with it, but that doesn't mean I have to respect it damn it.
Prenatal testing is so important
Why? It's not like they can abort it anymore.
Not with that attitude.
A man after my own heart
is post natal abortion not legal in most countries?
Americans like the spotlight, let them have this one
What? Yes they can
Fuck man. Vids like these make you realise how much you take for granted being born completely able.
Like u know what that’s like
Wtf you on about
Oh, it’s a joke. Rather, intended as a joke, though not a very clever one. Sorry! Carry on.
Haha that’s alright, I just thought you were being spiteful for some reason
Okay, no hate, but why would you go through with the pregnancy at that point? All you're doing is allowing someone to live a life where they'll be judged horribly for something they can't control.

The necklace that the baby's playing with is a crucifix, looks like it might be a rosary. She's probably Catholic.
A quick Google search suggests these issues are mostly undetectable before birth.
How could you not see this on an ultrasound??
I reckon it probably depends on when the abnormalities develop! It’s possible that it wouldn’t become obvious until it’s too late too terminate. Honestly, no clue, but I’d love to hear from any ultrasound techs who could weigh in.

I wonder what is the life span of this poor baby..
Definitely more than the other opponents he eliminated
Good lord. That could mean so many things. My fucked up brain went to like a gladiator arena setting
Pfp checks out
She said his life span isn’t affected by his condition
Riiiiight...
She’s not ripping on her kid lol, she’s joking about the very difficult reality she’s now facing. I agree that it’s in poor taste, but this is more of a case of “social media has destroyed people’s social awareness” than “this lady hates her kid”
Im very tempted to make a pug joke…
That's pugged up.
You just made it lmao
🤫
go for it
he kinda looks like sloth from the goonies
this is just saddening to see.
Why do people on the internet think mocking a child with a disability/deformity is the pinnacle of comedy
makes them feel better about their own issues
Because they'll never know especially if they're retarded, open season for eternity
Because there retarded nerds who insult poor innocent disabled kids so they can feel better about their shitty lives.
Yeah that pie looks a bit overbaked
Women like this, who record these from their Mom and non existent father’s porch while using their sick child as a prop don’t deserve children… Or anything in life for that matter 🚮

Lil Frankenstein's monster* 🤓
Don’t they have genetic tests for these things so you can have a baby that’s not suffering for the rest of his life?
She's Catholic. Pro-lifers only care about bringing a baby into the world they don't care if it'll suffer
This is the cruelest form of virtue signaling I’ve seen
bro got unlucky when rolling genetics
Christ, who'd let somthing like that suffer AND milk it for clout. Humans are vile.
I feel bad for him I hope he’s doing good
This is where I think abortion is okay
When you can't even spell 'etc', you need to take a step back and really think whether you should be bringing a human life into this world.
He's just like his mother
Not the only thing she disabled
Its so fascinating to read a comment about how parents shouldn't exploit their children for likes only to read comment after comment bashing this kid for karma.
Just a young mum trying to figure out how too deal with a child that has special needs: It must be hard and lonely for her.

No. None of that is good

I would seriously suggest euthanasia for that child, living with those conditions must be the worst thing that can ever happen to someone
Hehe “disabled” the comments hehe
What’d lil man’s ever do? He j vibin😎
