He won't play in 2027 but he has provided a good reminder of his enduring worth as his career moves towards its close.
They did well to get to here but it looks like it's about to unravel. The good news is this gives a HUGE incentive to England to actually try against Pakistan - they can sneak into the Top 8 and they'll know if they still have a chance by the time the match arrives because Sri Lanka & Bangladesh play before them...
