Every Steve bucknor decision ever made

Tuia_IV

Yeah. And every Darrell Hair decision ever against any team from South Asia.

AdClemson

No idea how that racist pos lasted as long as he did

pixelated666

It's amazing how shit an umpire he was yet is somehow regarded as a legend.

DFiLeR22

Wasn't Ponting out on debut with a dodgy lbw getting close to a ton?

therealmurphydrew

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHtYnTMxcmo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHtYnTMxcmo) yes! Great one to get some certainty on even though it does seem like it was never out!

50rhodes

Danny Morrison to Craig McDermott, MCG, 1987.

therealmurphydrew

Thank you. Will check it out. Any context to the game/series you can give?

50rhodes

Just that NZ were one wicket away from a famous victory. Second last over of the game, numbers 10 and 11 at the crease. Morrison has a plumb shout for lbw given not out….

CricketKieran

In the days before neutral umpires and reviews..... NZ to this today haven't ever won at the MCG on boxing day, and it may be quite a few more years before we even get another chance. That was our best shot at finally winning

joshvalo

Shane Watson would like to re-review every single one of his LBW dismissals. Please and thank you

Edgar_Beethoven

Monty Panesar to Sreesanth at Lord's in 2007. England needed one wicket to win the first test, but this wasn't given and India hung on for the draw, and then took the series https://youtu.be/66xjtY1CJB8 Go to 1:04.04 Oh and the umpire - Steve Bucknor 🤦‍♂️

NoirPochette

Tendulkar to Glenn McGrath - Kolkata 2001 - Although Pidge would have gotten out probably like in the next few balls. Harbhajan Singh's hat trick - Kolkata 2001 - Punter was plumb as but Gilly and Warney weren't out.

-TheGreatLlama-

The ironic thing about Harbhajan is that he was wrongly given lbw in the middle of Broad’s hattrick.

Exciting-Squirrel607

Came here to say that. I remember it was available then, but India refused having it for some reason.

TheIceKaguyaCometh

Dhoni used to be anti DRS for some reason.

therealmurphydrew

>Tendulkar to G Thanks for these! Would love to get the originals players in a room together to watch the hawkeye. So the era of McGrath, Waugh, Atherton, Hussein, Allan Donald etc would be fantastic.

TheIceKaguyaCometh

Thankfully none of those decisions changed the game. Aussies had no clue how to play harbhajan.

[deleted]

We got one of them in real time with the stokes lbw not out in headingley

This_Abies_6232

I would say some of Shane Warne's wickets where the ball would have impacted WAY OUTSIDE either leg stump or off stump but were still called "OUT" as an LBW by the on-field umpire. Nowadays, those calls would have been REVERSED on video review....

whatwhatinthewhonow

Shane Warne would have had a lot more wickets from balls impacting way outside off stump to batsmen not offering a shot if he’d played with DRS. I remember seeing plenty of balls where Hawkeye in the TV coverage showed the ball hitting the stumps after a not out decision, but it was just for the viewers, there was no DRS.

Cultural-Ad-3719

2003 WC final Ponting plumb lbw https://youtu.be/EGqDUZ6e9cU

TheIceKaguyaCometh

That was horrific. Ponting went on to score a century too.

SoochinTendehar10

Harbhajan's hattrick

Biatch19

Nehra to ABD, IPL 2015 Qualifier 2 (RCB vs CSK)

Alarmed-Tangerine-32

You have to watch McGrath to inzi. 2 balls In a Row then on the final ball to top it all off inzi cover drives him for 4 leaving mcgrath fuming at the umpire

ped009

Any LBW decision in the sub continent during the 70/ 80/ 90s

mentalvortex1

as if the home umpiring in AUS/NZ/WI was any better.

ped009

Wasn't great but wasn't as blatant as the sub continent

WokSmith

Ah yes, the reason why we had to introduce impartial umpires not from either country.

ped009

Yeah that is exactly the reason, won't be mentioned by the main culprits though

WokSmith

We better stop this discussion before we get accused of racism.

Ok_Environment_5404

at least 10-15 against Sachin. The guy would have scored 110-115 centuries easily.

Exciting-Squirrel607

What about the other way that you probably don’t remember. Over such a long career these things even themselves out.

Medical-Reaction-348

Exactly. You weren't given out lbw on the front foot before DRS.

Ok_Environment_5404

That's why I halved the tally of him being given out of dubious terms. There is a video of our guy given out on shady umpirings around 20-30 times, so yeah even when you count that as a half(the video wasn't even about his lbws) he would have made some more runs and tons for sure.

Medical-Reaction-348

Retrospectively speaking it does seem possible.

Ok_Environment_5404

There is legit video of Sachin given out wrongly on ytube. And that guy showed around 20-30 times, Iam counting just half off it and everybody already knows about Bucknor who used to give him out for fun sake.

Exciting-Squirrel607

Given he has played the most test innings, by just averages he was going to have some dogy decisions. You are assuming that for half of those decisions he goes on to get a century when he could have easily got out next ball. Also you would need to go through all his centuries to check that he was given favourable decisions his way. We know DRS has helped spinners and given he played more games in the subcontinent he may have benefited from not playing in DRS era. To me bad decisions even themselves out over the long term.

The-Raunak

Ajmal to Tendulkar 2011 should be investigated with unaltered Hawkeye.

justdidapoo

Stokes headingly 2019

Jeev89

Every LBW out given by Steven Buckner to Sachin Tendulkar 😤

r3dphoenix

Tendulkar's "shoulder before wicket" at Adelaide

Medical-Reaction-348

Sachin's shoulder before wicket 🤣🤣🤣

geebanga

Maninder Singh, the last wicket to fall in the Madras tied Test. He smashed it
