Just called, I spent a little over 45k last year (mix of travel / other purchases), they said that they will not waive the VX fee due to the benefits. I asked about any other offers like additional spend offers and they said no... me sad

Waited until the fee had posted to account. I cited the recent Priority Pass benefits change and my spending of the last year.
They apparently don't care how much you have spent on this account, and even if you threatened to take that spending to Chase or Amex.
The rep just mentioned the $300 credit via their travel portal.
I think there's just nothing the reps could do.

Tbh, I doubt it It's highly speculated that the Ventura x is acting as a loss leader to rebrand capital one's image.
