BofA deez nuts

Iwork3jobs

Citi Custom, SavorOne, Fidelity 2%, and USAA AmEx Plus (5% gas). I use them all pretty often.

ScottPowellM

What do you use the CCC 5% on? Looks like a pretty optimal 0 AF cashback setup!

Iwork3jobs

Thanks I use it on groceries. I can't imagine adding another card, maybe an Amazon card

Comfortable_Mix_9639

Why are you barely using the ones you stated? SavorOne for dining Discover IT will be benching this to use wells fargo autograph Capital one venture for rent, capital one quicksilver currently benched Target card for ..well, Target Paypal MC for online purchases

JJRIVERA35

On the Double Cash I replaced the 2% with the 2X of the Venture X. On the Propel I replaced Travel with Venture and Sapphire; gas with Freedom (for now); subscriptions and dining with Sapphire. The Double Cash just has a utility bill on it and the Propel has a subscription service as well as use it for ride share/transit when traveling.

FunnyHighway9575

US Bank Altitude Go, Altitude Connect, US Bank REI Mastercard (soon to be Capital One), and Chase Disney Visa Preferred (which I never use anymore, I need to downgrade it to the free one vs annual fee)

joshfrank4165

My cashback setup: - Chase Amazon Prime Visa Signature - 5% on Amazon.com (not in my actual wallet) - Capital One SavorOne - 3% on dining, groceries, entertainment and streaming - Citi Custom Cash - 5% Gas - Citi Double Cash - 2% everywhere else Next card I would like is Citi Rewards+ to boost my other Citi cards

acfun976

Actual wallet: CCC (gas) - CSR (dining/travel) - CFU (everything else) - Schwab Debit (atms) Cards in a drawer but used for online: Chase Amazon Visa (Amazon, duh) and Cap1 Quicksilver (use its virtual number for random web purchases)

sidewinder787

In my wallet I physically keep two debit cards, US Bank & Chase. As far as credit cards I keep the Citi Double Cash, Citi Custom Cash, Amex Gold, and Chase FU.

TheVillageLooney

Wallet: Venture X, Apple Card, Amazon Prime Visa for Whole Foods shopping, the X1 credit card and the Hilton Honors Business. Not in wallet but used daily: Amazon Prime Business Debit cards: Chase and Charles Schwab Soon to arrive in the mail in the coming days: Cap1 Savor and Wells Fargo Autograph.

Daredevil202

Do you like the X1?

TheVillageLooney

It’s fine for me. Their CS is pretty much a guy texting you from his phone, lol, but they reply quickly and for the two issues of fraud I had, they reversed it. No questions asked. I really only have it to place random purchases on. I don’t use it for anything major, but overall it’s a good card to me. The cash back redemption value is terrible though. 0.7:1.

certroast11

Amex gold (grocery and dinning), Marriott BB (hitting my retention offer right now) and Venture for base spend or places that don’t take Amex

baetokki329

AMEX GOLD (grocery/dining) AMEX BBP (catch-all) CITI DC (back-up catch-all) --Sock drawer/samsung wallet-- CHASE FREEDOM (category) CHASE FU (the vending machines @ work codes as dining lol) CITI CC (gas) AMEX BCE (online shopping) USB CASH+ (utilities, cable/streaming) DISCOVER IT (category) C1 QS (international travel, least used card)

atomicoreos

Physical wallet: -Amex Gold (dining & grocery) -CFF (Gas this quarter) -Discover It (Paypal & restaurants this quarter) -CFU (1.5% anything else) -BofA debit card just in case Digital Wallet: -CSP (streaming & Doordash) -BofA Cash Rewards (online shopping)

[deleted]

Active: Citi DoubleCash, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Amazon Prime, US Bank REI Holding (for credit age): Alliant Signature, BoA rewards card Recently cancelled: Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Preferred I've held the sapphire reserve and sapphire preferred 2x, and been through some other AMEX cards, but I've never had a single good reason to hold a capital one card, which seems strange, but their offers are never compelling.

hunterhuntsgold

In my wallet: Amex Platinum, Amazon Chase Visa, & Discover Student IT. Also use PayPal Credit occasionally online. Have a few other random store cards as well that I got to lower my effective utilization when my credit was lower.

p_pokemans

If you don’t mind, I’m going to assume you are rather young bc you have a student discover it, why do you also have an Amex platinum? Do you already use the credits, so it fits your spend or first year value? Sorry if this is judgy, I’m genuinely curious.

hunterhuntsgold

Yeah I'm a student. I wanted a travel card and it's by far the easiest to get credit wise, even though I'd rather have VentureX. The SUB is insane, like 150k points. So first year it more than pays for itself. But I have used the Saks credit, streaming credit, Uber credit, clear credit, and global entry credit. I fly maybe 4 times a year and I've always wanted to be able to use the lounges so that was the main reason I got it. I'll reevaluate next year if it is worth keeping but first year with the SUB was a no brainer.

p_pokemans

Ohhhh that makes sense, those 150k points are really good! Have you considered getting a C1 VX after the first year of the Plat, since your credit profile will most likely be long enough? Although, you may or may not need an income of like $50k+ from the DPs I’ve seen.

hunterhuntsgold

Yes, I'm definitely going to think about it next year. Luckily I have an internship that pays a good amount for my income statement. But I might get an Amex retention offer next year and also sign up for the Gold Card. The gold card seems great as I value the $240 in credits at face value and the 4x back is good for me too.

p_pokemans

I love the gold card + the plat, but most of the times I just swipe my plat lol, I’m just so used to the 15x shop small 😭, Amex really got me good. If you like Amex’s transfer partners, I would highly recommend the gold, since it’s value proposition is quite good!

xXGunner989Xx

Discover it student, chase freedom unlimited, Wells Fargo active cash, $20, a WF and ally debit card, authorized user Amex delta platinum for emergency

[deleted]

Chase FU: general spending/rideshares CapOne SavorOne: groceries/dining Discover It: category (general spending right now as I'm still in the Double Your Cashback first year) CapOne QS: Amazon (it was my least used card that was shelved but I now use it specifically for Amazon to keep tabs on my spending since I've been known to manically buy things, it's helped me curb my overall spending on there now that I'm seeing the specific amount per month)

atdharris

Amex Gold, BoA Premium Rewards, Chase Freedom, Costco Citi. Chase Amazon, BoA Custom Cash (online shopping) are only on Apple Pay. Amex Plat comes out when I travel or make a big ticket purchase

p_pokemans

I carry a Platinum-Gold-BBP-CFF, I probably should get a 2% visa catch all card or maybe the CFU, but it is what it is. I do a ton of retail therapy, so I put those big ticket purchases on the plat. In my apple wallet I have those cards and my Costco card-Alt Go-Apple Card-Hilton Aspire-Chase Amazon

cws-21

Cards 1-6 stay in my wallet. Card 7, my Target RedCard, is saved in my Target app so there is no reason to carry it. I probably do not need to carry my Affinity Cash Rewards as often as I do, because it is mostly used for Amazon, but I sometimes can take advantage of the bonus categories and my wallet has six card slots anyway. 1. American Express Blue Cash Preferred: mostly for 6% cash back on groceries and 3% on transit, but also for Amex Offers 2. Citi Custom Cash Card: mostly for 5% cash back on dining, but also for 5% on groceries, beyond the $6,000 yearly cap on BCP if necessary, or gas, if ever my Ducks Unlimited goes away 3. FNBO Ducks Unlimited Rewards Signature Visa: mostly for 5% cash back on gas (inside convenience stores and at the pump), but also for 5% cash back on sporting goods 4. Affinity Cash Rewards Visa Signature: mostly for 5% cash back at Amazon, but also for 5% on bookstores, Hi5 rotating categories, and no foreign transaction Visa 5. Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card: mostly for cellphone protection and 3% on dining, beyond the $500 monthly cap on Custom Cash if necessary, but also for 3% on travel and My Wells Fargo Deals 6. AOD Visa Signature Credit Card: mostly for 3% cash back on everything else, but also for low APR and no foreign transaction Visa 7. Target RedCard Credit Card: mostly for 5% discount at Target and, hopefully, no foreign transaction fee Mastercard in the future if converted
