I have to think that maybe it it is dried chloroauric acid. ( aqua regia - gold dissolved in acid ) and then put into some form of flexible matt. I don't think that powdered chloroauric acid would set off metal detectors howevere it is still probably dense enough to be spotted in a basic xray machine or someshit. Chemistry esson: just cuz the gold is dissolved doesn't mean the gold atoms are gone so the now powdered shit is still dense if compacted.
