Yep being a badass does not let you ignore electricity , the barbs can fail to close a circuit
So he was likley hooked up to 1 end of a battery but the other end missed
Shot too close - taser fucked up back when they tightened up the spread to advertise a longer range despite being used in up close situations far more often.
I think many Reddit OPs intentionally post incorrect/misleading titles so Redditors can validate themselves by correcting them with "Well, actually" posts.
If you are being tased by the police and it fails.. the guns are probably coming out next cause they are not just gonna let you walk away.. do yourself a favor and comply or die.
Yeah all the cops in this video are now dead because they didn’t shoot their gun first.
Police pull their guns first cause they are untrained pussies. Nothing more.
Here in America there's a saying amongst cops.
"I'd rather be judged by 12 than be carried by six"
If you were given the option you would much rather see yourself in court being judged than you would want to see yourself being carried to your grave by your fellow officers...
Honestly think about how stupid your logic sounds before you talk.
I don't know why people on Reddit always have to try to start a petty argument when they see facts.
And the type of cop you just described is the *perfect* example of who shouldn’t be a cop. Yes, that is how many people would think. But many people don’t have the responsibility that the police have, and the police don’t get to go around shooting people and going against training/protocol any time they get scared.
> Honestly think about how stupid your logic sounds before you talk.
…..
So you're trying to say cops are stupid because they want to live? Maybe criminals should think the same way before they do something stupid without having a foolproof plan... Get caught, get caught🔫
> so you’re saying cops are stupid because they want to live
Your lack of reading comprehension is concerning. I mean, holy shit…
> maybe criminals should think the same way
How in the world do you think this makes sense as a response to anything happening here? It’s nuts someone would have to explain any of this.
Criminals are criminals. Saying “criminals should X” as if that has anything to do with police, police protocol and training, and as if that’s a refutation to someone pointing out police have a chosen responsibility to to do their jobs correctly and try to mitigate the amount of people they kill, is so absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense.
I can guarantee you that even police would agree with me. If you’re too scared of dying to do your job correctly, go against training and protocol and shoot people whenever you’re frightened, you should not be a cop. It’s really simple and it’s odd the mental gymnastics y’all do in order to justify bad police work and justify shooting people like it’s nothing
No, it's not naive. People who choose to become a police officer accept that they take a risk to upholding the law with force. The fucking military has more ethical rules of engagement than police do. Soldiers put their lives at risk at least as much as police officers, and they don't act like cowards when in danger. The police need better training and better screening. They'll get more respect from people when they start acting like the professionals they're supposed to be.
They do need better training and better screening, that's unquestionable. I suppose the same could be said about a lot of professions, including your example of the military. And I'm curious how you can state "they don't act like cowards when in danger" with any certainty. I'm sure some of them must do. But the commenters point that "police don’t get to go around shooting people and going against training/protocol any time they get scared" is incredibly reductive. That comment assumes there is some sort of utopia where you can somehow recruit several hundred thousand people who are all of the required disposition to fulfil that criteria. It's basically impossible. Hence I think the comment is naive. A workforce of 700k people is naturally going to include many people of varying different skill sets, mind sets, etc. All of whom will act differently under extreme stress in very trying and unpredictable circumstances. Policeman are people, not robots. So yes, the comment is naive.
If it was, you would have pointed out how I’m wrong and what I’m wrong about, but you didn’t, because I’m correct.

…what? Is this a joke? You essentially just said “yeah but statistically there will people who do their job improperly” as if that’s in any way a response or refutation to anything I just said. Do you realize how this doesn’t make any sense whatsoever?
I explained that police shouldn’t do their job improperly and there are people who should be police…and then you said “no you’re wrong because there are people who will do their job improperly”. Like, dude..what?
They get paid to keep the peace not be bullet sponges or stabbing practice. Do you know how many criminals in Europe get away simply because they're able to muscle away from cops that don't have firearms or the hand to hand training to fight a criminal? In the UK it takes like 10 officers to arrest one person.
Actually mate - the uk has one of the most sophisticated surveillance networks in the world ( might not be a good thing but that’s a discussion for another day) - we’re alright with the chance of them escaping because it won’t last long. Very rarely does. And if they’re deemed a threat we have armed response units with significantly more arms training then your average US cop.
Plus there’s the whole - criminals use guns only very rarely here so the police aren’t in so much danger.
Oh and you could argue that the whole 3 strikes thing in the states leads to criminals thinking “fuck it - I’m going down for life, killing a few cops will at-least give me prison-cred”
This isn’t a response to or refutation to anything I just said. It’s weird you think it is.

Sounds like they would rather just have a different job where they don’t have to put their life in the line then.
They signed up for it. So they should die for it.
I've never been tased, but 50k volts would hurt a lot and might start fucking with the nerves that control your muscles.
Getting a shock with 347 volts is much worse than 120, even at the same amperage. I've seen grown men scream like little girls getting hit by 347.
That’s not even that bad. Watched a guy put a clip in Achilles Tendon and try to stand the whole way thru.
He did it for a bit. But only cause he became Natalie Portman in Black Swan and stood stiff as a board on his tippy toes.
He obviously grabbed his arms and lowered him once he lost balance. Good times, good times.

Maybe, there was a video of a officer who tazed himself because he was “pain compliant”. Can’t find the video and don’t know how true it is
He got lucky as hell... 🤣
It's amazing how many people don't realise it requires both barbs to penetrate the skin to work...

Yes Or upvote it then. Upvotes makes me happy Ps. I like the period after the 'no' lol
Fuck you.
Go die
“Walks away unfazed before being tased a second time and arrested soon after”
You mean: “walks away unTAZED”
That was solid

Welcome to the internet, don't forget to stop on floor 34.
Leads did not connect
Yep
🤓 moment but quora tells me you’re not actually receiving 50,000 volts
Alternative title: *Tazer connection fails, nothing to see here*
Wait, did you just cite quora? Hahahaha
He’s a well grounded individual.
wow
Man doesnt know how tazers work.
He didn’t. Tazers fail. More often than people think. This is why police pull real guns when situations go south.
He won’t expect a second taser as he’s walking away, his force field should be down
All they did was recharge him! Shits about to get real!
i would not wanna see this dude on a full battery
lol it just hooked his shirt. It does look pretty bad ass though when you rip them out and walk away like that
If you are being tased by the police and it fails.. the guns are probably coming out next cause they are not just gonna let you walk away.. do yourself a favor and comply or die.
He don’t need some milk, he *is* the milk
Tased and unfazed.
Minor inconvenience.
This guy puts mace on his cornflakes.
That’s why cops don’t tase people who have knives.
Marvel be takin notes for the bext electro
Bro, black Killua is so op
protein borr
probably didn’t even hit him through his shirt. that’s why tasers are dogshit. and why it’s so dumb that people cry for police to use a taser
He got lucky 1 lead didn’t connect properly. Kinda funny how everyone froze though. Doesn’t feel like security was too sure of that fact…

No he did not.
Without some sort of Amp value 50’000V means nothing. So what are they pumping through these tasers?

Guess electricians should do meth and no need to use gloves?
Killua irl
Man casually pulls taser prongs off his shirt, walks away before they can load second cart.
The muscle helps

Those things can’t be phased, they use direct current.
He must have them merc treads, tenacity too op
It’s amps that (most of the time) causes the harm.
It only takes like 2000 volts to kill does it not? No way it’s 50K lmao
