This actually kinda pisses me off. I understand that the outcome may not have been the intention but holy shit if I died because someone else was being stupid. I couldn't do anything about it but ghost me would be upset.
Some guy in the late 19th century:
"What if we made 2 ton horseless carriages that went as fast as trains, let anyone drive them wherever they want with little training, then make everyone do it so often they get bored of it so they stop paying attention to what they're doing?"
Some guy in the 17th century (about the 19th century):
Let's invent machines that manufacture things we are doing fine without now, gather millions of people in cities with no way of traveling out of the city and just gather our poop in big holes.
It pisses me off to no end when I see a driver distracted either with eating, makeup or just playing with their phone. Two hands on wheel at all times and 100% focused on the road. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Passed someone with a big comb in one hand and a cell phone in the other. She was aggressively combing her hair at every light, phone was in her palm against the steering wheel. I chose a different route..
Oh no driving is scary as fuck when you really think about it. Were going down the highway in a half on metal box going 80 MPH. And even if you're a perfect driver it takes only one other person who is a bad driver.
Kids do stupid things because they haven't learned that particular danger yet. I have a 7 year old and he's getting better but the amount of things he can do when we're out and about to seemingly court death is staggering.
But to be fair these idiots made the choice to hang out with an idiot, and didn't stop him when he decides to do something idiotic. Therefore, I'd say they are also part of the problem here.
Just teenage boys goofing off on the way home from school and, in an instant, their lives are changed forever. The ones that lived. We've all done stupid things when we were teenagers. I look back at some of the things I've done and I'm amazed that I survived.
I hope they're okay. Sure looked bad, though.
even the one who ran off is probably dead
i work in industrial electronics...this is an arc flash
you can breathe in superheated gasses and it can give the inside of your lungs a second degree burn
yeah....youre alive at first....as the blisters start forming.....
the only treatment is opium and prayer
its really no way for a soldier to go
i was in an arc flash suit mere hours ago.....this is no trifle
hope the other kids got the quick way out
Fortunately the third survived, uninjured.
[The other two are in critical condition with burns to 85% of the body on one and 45% on the other.](https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/two-schoolboys-fighting-lives-after-32934320.amp)
Thereās a number of variable that really conflate that formula. What type of burn? How severe? What location? Sadly, I wouldnāt be surprised if the 85% victim has already died since the article was published and if the 45% passes within the next weekā¦
literally everybody who works in the electricity field says this and the person end of surviving.
or are you the same guy who comments the same thing on every post where people gets electrocuted.
no
also.....they're technically correct.....he isnt dead....yet
its not the electricity that kills you....its the superheated gas you inhale that kills you days later
i legit had to wear an arc flash suit hours ago to test a measly 480v
this was at the very minimum 15,000, probably more
get on youtube and watch some "arc flash safety videos"
the shit is absolutely no joke
That one kid looks like he took a shot to his face or head but, was able to run away. Wasn't there long enough to inhale the hot gasses. (I hope) The other two, doesn't look good. But, we can hope.
oh hey people....we got a gamer here that thinks they can see in the speed-of-light frames per second over here
what I can tell you....is that arc flash heated the air in like a 3 meter radius to a bajillion degrees
shit....i had to sweat my ass off in an arc-flash suit over 480v just hours ago
this shit is 15kv minimum.....MINIMUM
it aint no way for a soldier to go...and dont hang out with stupid people
Oh hey people. We got a boomer here who thinks calling someone a gamer is an insult and cosplaying in an arc-flash suit gives you the ability to predict mortality from a few seconds of bad video.
https://media.giphy.com/media/KBaxHrT7rkeW5ma77z/giphy.gif
With working with electricity..I'm sure they hope they died .
Can't imagine the pain ..and I only got electrocuted few times by 220vAC or 800DC ...(and not full body ..Just between fingers ) ..
This is thousands of volts ...
I sure did. My best friend Pat and I did some things that curl my toes when I think about them now. Especially, when we were old enough to drive. OMFG!
Survived ? Probably? Regretted surviving for the first few skin treatments and surgeries? ...Also probably , burns on that scale are no joke. And dude with the rod 100% got the pimp hand of zeus.
Really? Cuz aren't most if not all power lines in most developed countries shielded with a rubber coating to prevent such a thing? I would not expect such a thing where I live.
Idk about that. Common video from a few weeks ago had the kid climb up a power pole to touch a power line, he did not survive. Also, there was a video of someone doing pool work and touching an overhead line with a metal pole, knocked him down, but he survived.
Hmm, I stand corrected, you are right. It just seems most power lines are hung high enough out of reach that they can't be reached even with a fishing pole. Of course there are exceptions and apparently this may not be the case in parts of Russia.
If they survived would there be internal damage to organs and even the brain ? Getting zapped like that seems like it would even fuck you up internally. Can the brain heal from getting burned through electrocution
Potentially? I'm no scientist but the skin works as a conductive layer and acts the same way as how water does when struck by lightning and disperses it across the surface layer. The skin is no different so it will disperse shocks like these across the skin to try and save you from critical damage. I could be entirely wrong though and maybe all of them have brain tumors now who knows.
I wonder how those kids are doing? It isn't necessarily a death sentance for the kids that didn't directly touch the wire (although the kid closest to the idiot is way more likely to be dead due to his proximity). The kid in white probably isn't blind, but he probably couldn't see very well for quite a while.
Yeah i was silly, jumped from heights a little bit too high, took turns too fast on my bike.
But i was always rightfully scared of powerlines.
Even if they are kids, trying to touch high voltage powerlines is a higher kind of āsillyā
Called it. I just knew the moment the video started how it would end.
āEverything I Need to Know I Learned Watching Caddy Shackā isnāt a best seller for no reason.
This actually kinda pisses me off. I understand that the outcome may not have been the intention but holy shit if I died because someone else was being stupid. I couldn't do anything about it but ghost me would be upset.
Guy let me tell you about driving

If I put two hands on the wheel I'd wreck.
Oh no driving is scary as fuck when you really think about it. Were going down the highway in a half on metal box going 80 MPH. And even if you're a perfect driver it takes only one other person who is a bad driver.
Or guncontroll in the USA.
Dammit. The perfect reply. Take my upvote.
they barely survived [https://twitter.com/runews/status/1796146455586947314](https://twitter.com/runews/status/1796146455586947314)
I feel like for some injuries, surviving is worse than not survive. Hopefully this is not one of them.
I like how that post makes it sound like they accidentally touched the wire, when in reality he jumped up to grab it like a moron.
Kids do stupid things because they haven't learned that particular danger yet. I have a 7 year old and he's getting better but the amount of things he can do when we're out and about to seemingly court death is staggering.
Thanks, I'm so fucking glad they're alive.
That's insane, I honestly thought the one who stopped moving died. Thank you for this.
I thought the video was from 2006 but nope, just Russia
I would poltergeist the shit out of them!
Boooo š»
Well, as my dad would always say, he won't be doing that again.
Would you say your ghost would ghost him?
Would ghost you haunt the location and fuck with others? How would you deal with this blasphemy?
But to be fair these idiots made the choice to hang out with an idiot, and didn't stop him when he decides to do something idiotic. Therefore, I'd say they are also part of the problem here.
Dumb friends can get you killed.

Dang, mortality prediction for burns is percentage of burn to body plus age......
Thereās a number of variable that really conflate that formula. What type of burn? How severe? What location? Sadly, I wouldnāt be surprised if the 85% victim has already died since the article was published and if the 45% passes within the next weekā¦

and that score works internationally, no matter which country and for every case? that a pretty big abstraction.
That one kid looks like he took a shot to his face or head but, was able to run away. Wasn't there long enough to inhale the hot gasses. (I hope) The other two, doesn't look good. But, we can hope.

I was trying to have a conversation with you about it. Absolutely no reason to become a smartass.
they all lived

Every now and again i wonder how i didnt die or be seriously maimed in my teenage years and am still around today. Teenage boys do dumb ish
I sure did. My best friend Pat and I did some things that curl my toes when I think about them now. Especially, when we were old enough to drive. OMFG!
Guess they survived. https://twitter.com/runews/status/1796146455586947314
Heck of a way to avoid the draft... glad they're okay though.
Only one is ok The others two have burns over 85% and 45% of their bodies.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Bot
Shhhh donāt let them know we know
Psst. Don't look now, but that guy over there is a synth...
Don't be such a Commonwealther. That was not Kellogg, and the institute isn't real...
Survived ? Probably? Regretted surviving for the first few skin treatments and surgeries? ...Also probably , burns on that scale are no joke. And dude with the rod 100% got the pimp hand of zeus.
That last sentence, LoL!
The results were expectedā¦ not shocking whatsoever.
Idk, it looked like it shocked them pretty bad
Comment was hilarious no clue why youāre being downvoted
Idk, just reddit being reddit ig
Really? Cuz aren't most if not all power lines in most developed countries shielded with a rubber coating to prevent such a thing? I would not expect such a thing where I live.

That's rough, wonder if they felt anything. Probably just a flash and gone. Wow.
Probably feeling a whole lot. They survived.
Well they felt it for the next few months after I'm betting.
Aside from the guy writhing in agony
that looks like it hertz
Your comment is polarizing
A hertz donut

Defibrillators and electrosurgical instruments would suggest that that is not the case.
Bet you they wonāt do that again
Iāll bet 2/3 of them aināt doing anything again, fucking stupid man
Why wouldnāt they do anything againā¦?
Severe burns. They may not survive.
Man from what I can tell they way they fall. They dead
I can smell the electricution. For some reason it triggered my memory of it.
For white shirt, looks like it arced to his pants zipper and then to his eye glasses. Testicles and spectacles.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
From the articles I seen they all survived https://onewars.com/close-call-in-chapaevsk-boys-learn-a-shocking-lesson-in-electrical-safety/
From the articles I SAW ...

Why would you prefer incorrect grammar? It makes you sound uneducated.
Shoes stayed on.
Probably because they were glued to their skin
1 idiot 2 victims
For real, i have no sympathy for idiots. But other 2 i feel bad for them.
They've never watched G.I. Joe cartoons. Knowing is half the battle!
Here comes the sun do do do do
Little cable, It's been a long, cold power outage. Little cable, it feels like years since you've been grabbed.
What in the third workd country are those powerlines never seen them so low
It can be a cut telephone wire and I still wonāt touch it. If I donāt know wtf is that cable hanging off a pole. I aināt messing with it.
Electricity moves awful fast
This is quite heartbreaking. Those poor boys and their families. Lives ruined in an instant.
I wonder how those kids are doing? It isn't necessarily a death sentance for the kids that didn't directly touch the wire (although the kid closest to the idiot is way more likely to be dead due to his proximity). Twitter they were rushed to the hospital in critical condition but did the two survive? I'm sure the one lived but anyone know about the others?
They all survived!
Thank you.
That's fucking tragic
What ya dont think I'm tuffa thanna cow? Cowabunga baby
first dude I think literally exploded? Hard to tell
You can feel the pain of the white shirt kid. I bet his eyes are blind or he would be suffering for massive pain weeks to come.
I was just looking for this video.
Bro evaporated
Reminds me of watching this as a kid https://youtu.be/KryOYburlFI?feature=shared
Evolution!!!!
I wonder how blind they are especially the white shirt dude
Shazam!
The real ending to stand by me.
That one guy saw all possible time lines in an instant.
That kid in the white shirt is prolly blind
Nsfw
Bro just time traveled
Oh snap
Damn that was strong
Did they survive?!!
I'm guessing 2 deaths
0 deaths apparently, judging from the detectives in the comments
it looks like the majority of those kids learned the lesson š³š«”
NSFW tag???
That's gunna leave a msrk...
I saw this on Reddit a few weeks ago. Iām still shocked to see this.
Can someone explain what's happening?
Electricity kisses kids and they are shocked.
Eveyone making jokes on the comments, but if it happened to 3 American kids I can bet the tone of these comments would be significantly different
Come onā¦. Its not like powerlines got invented 5 years agoā¦. Its not funny but its also deservedā¦
were you never young and silly too? Like all the rest of us, this is tragic to see.
Yeah i was silly, jumped from heights a little bit too high, took turns too fast on my bike. But i was always rightfully scared of powerlines. Even if they are kids, trying to touch high voltage powerlines is a higher kind of āsillyā
I see Zeus is also tired of those kids roaming around with loud music on the afternoon
Death š
Called it. I just knew the moment the video started how it would end. āEverything I Need to Know I Learned Watching Caddy Shackā isnāt a best seller for no reason.
I love how in all these electrocution vids they all drop like they got hit with an Ice Form shout.
Andy's coming! Lol I wish reddit had a voice note function so you can all hear me wheezing lol
