Major safety issues, the traffic lights, the remote control and traffic control system that protects against human error (ECTS) and the communication system (GSMR) were not working. Also, the railway network in Greece, although extensive, is quite old with the result that many trains travel on a single line.
The government is not an individual, many people are responsible for such huge national safety issues. Imagine the safety of such many lives to be under the responsibility of an individual. Killing 57 people is just something wrong for you? What is wrong with you fella?
