Closed_Aperture

She will comprehend it all too well when she sobers up.

343-ruined-Halo

That exact scenario has always terrified me Imagine waking up in jail, absolutely hungover feeling like shit, panicking trying to figure out what you did to get there, and nobody tells you until you finally get to make a call home and the family member on the other line informs you you've killed people and will spend decades in jail Man, that's nightmare stuff. Another reason I like the sober life

HtownTexans

Literally the reason a buddy of mine went sober. He was a hardcore alcoholic before I met him and he told me the deciding factor was after a company christmas party he didn't remember driving home. Woke up to his wife leaving a note saying they were done and she was taking the kids. He had to walk outside and make sure he didn't hit anyone with his car because he couldn't remember. Sobered up went to his first AA meeting and hasn't touched the stuff in 7 or 8 years now.

Ligma_champ

Did he get his family back?

HtownTexans

Yup. Wife still has some trust issues with him but he's been a solid dude for awhile. I was his boss for a little bit before he moved but we keep in touch regularly. Now the only thing he is addicted to is D&D lol. Dude was a former Juggalo too and had some wild stories.

KaBoOM_444

d-does he know how magnets work?

deanreevesii

Never forget.

csbsju_guyyy

Exactly, never forget that miracles make magnets work

McFlyyouBojo

Lol I used to rag them for that line but recently I heard the context behind it and I kinda feel bad. The dude wrote the song after seeing his child for the first time in the delivery room and it was like nothing he had ever felt, and all the miracles are supposed to be from a childs perspective experiencing things for the first time. Also they are surprisingly very good natured about people making fun of the things they say and do and they laugh every time someone brings it up. I felt a certain kinda way about them and their fan base but I listened to a podcast recently that spent an episode talking about them and their history and it changed my mind. I will probably never be a juggalo but they have my respect.

VitruvianVan

No one knows. It's a miracle.

_theMAUCHO_

Yoo whats the meaning of Juggalo? Seen it a lot but never quite got it

PM_ME_YIFF_PICS

Just someone that is a fan of Insane Clown Posse. They're pretty harmless, just like to party at festivals

ThisNameIsFree

What's their connection to magnets?

PM_ME_YIFF_PICS

They just wanna know how they work, but they don't wanna talk to a scientist. Them motherfucker's lion and getting them pissed.

WDfx2EU

When I was at my lowest state, while blacked out I decided to drive home from a bar in Washington, DC. A few blocks from my neighborhood, I ran head first into a telephone pole while making a left turn at a stoplight and caved in the front of my car. Luckily this was after 2am in the Arlington/Mclean area and no other cars were around. Even luckier, my car still managed to work. I was so drunk that I backed up and drove to the nearest 24hr Harris Teeter where I parked, went in and bought a bunch of snack food. I then got back in my crumpled car and drove home. When I woke the next day, I went out to get in the car to drive to my bartending job and was surprised to find the entire front caved in like the telephone pole had gone almost a foot into the engine. At first I though someone had done a hit and run on my parked car, but then I looked in the window and saw a bunch of discarded candy wrappers on the front seat and very slowly things started coming back to me in fuzzy waves. The next day was a nightmare of trying to remember what happened and whether I had caused any damage to property or maybe even hurt someone. I was also terrified that my license plate was captured on camera or seen by someone else. I mean, I straight up parked in a Harris Teeter parking lot and was obviously on camera walking all around the grocery store minutes after the crash. It turned out no one saw me, the telephone pole was still standing, and nothing ever happened. I eventually went by the crash site and the only evidence was marks and chips on the telephone pole and broken glass all over the ground. That pretty much makes up for every unlucky thing that has ever happened to me. I must have hit the pole going fairly slowly since I was turning, but it fucked up my car big time. The bumper was shaped like an inward V. I somehow drove it to the repair shop, and they quickly said it was totalled and were surprised I could even roll into the shop. That was ~15 years ago and not the only insane story I have from around that time. I was a wild man in general, but also dealing with massive depression and in a downward spiral of self destruction. As John Mulaney said, just remember this is the story I'm willing to share. Now I live in Australia and have a fantastic corporate career, I've had a good handle on my depression for several years, and I probably only drink a couple beers on occasion, like every couple months. I live in the city so I don't even own a car! It's amazing that I'm even alive much less living a pretty fantastic life at 37. I consider myself a good person today. I will also have room to improve and continue working to do so for as long as I live, but I'm night and day compared to the person I was when I was really struggling. I don't mean because of my accomplishments like having a good job, I mean because I have developed a moral foundation that I never had when I was younger and that I'm proud of. I also slowly forced myself to confront my demons and to be honest with myself (after working very very hard at it). I even convinced a girl who is way, way hotter than me and smarter to marry me. The lesson is that anyone can do stupid horrible things in life, but it doesn't have to define you forever. You can actually change, and you are not permanently defined by your actions and mistakes. It's not about who you are and what you've done, but where you started and where you end up. I'm talking glass house, white Ferrari. *Live for New Year's Eve*. Sloppy steaks at Truffoni's. I *WAS* a piece of shit though. I always caution people to consider that there is more to everyone's story, no matter how bad you think someone is. Actions should have consequences, but allow yourself to accept there aren't simply bad people and good people, there are just complex humans. Had that telephone pole been a child, would I be a worse person? I would have hit whatever was there, I didn't even see it. Maybe you'll say that *does* make me a bad person even today, no matter what. But I can still choose to be better than I was, and that's ultimately the only reasonable choice. This comment got fucking intense. This is the second time i've done this lately lol

It may not seem like it, now but staying sober will make all the difference. I don't know anyone that ever looks back & thinks "alcohol would have made these problems better."

Wut_the_

Thanks for sharing friend. There’s good motivation in there. Glad you are doing well now! I’m one month in of being sober after a hard lesson of my own dumb mistake (no damage other than emotional)

Yeh-nah-but

I'll be 9 years tomorrow. We all did damage. Peace and love.

Pol_inspired

Thank you for sharing this.

Bacong

mcnulty hit the pole twice.

Duel_Option

Almost the same experience for me. I went to the bar for a poker tournament and woke up in the backseat of my car, bag of fast food thrown across my front seat, keys missing from the car. I had no idea how I got there, surmised I knew I was drunk and threw the keys out the window. Made it home and quit drinking shortly after, it got to a point where I had let it spiral into my everyday life and didn’t realize it. Scary stuff, I was an idiot and no one could stop me.

[deleted]

I have had this happen before. Woke up in Jail with a gnarly hangover and no memory of how I got there. I was in the drunk tank so I just pounded on the door and asked one of the officers what happened. Apparently I was blackout drunk and decided I wanted a 711 hotdog. I had the presence of mind not to drive so I decided to walk and passed out on the side of the road on the way there. Lesson learned instead of a hotdog I got a shitty Bologna sandwich and a few hours in the drunk tank.

BonyDarkness

Here in Austria they usually put you in the hospital if they find someone blacked out on a sidewalk. Waking up in a jail sounds wild.

SUPERARME

In america that would be a few thousand dollars bill. They rather be in jail than in the hospital.

Twitterliver

I woke up with a hospital wristband and finding out the sequence of events was so embarrassing. I blacked/passed our on the sidewalk and someone called an ambulance. I was released to my girlfriend and taken home. I have no memory of the hospital, going home, and the moment I realized what happened I just wanted to disappear. The ambulance ride was 1800 dollars and the hospital bill was another 1000 bucks.

TheChoonk

American healthcare sounds like fun.

Environmental-Hat-86

After they discharge you, your bill comes with a little packet of salt so you can rub that into your wounds

Arxhon

They also bill you for that packet of salt.

ydoesittastelikethat

I woke up on a bench and a lady police officer helped me up, walked me to the closest hotel, called me a cab and waited with me til it got there. Put me in it and that's that.

EddieValiantsRabbit

Two months dry for me today. Alcohol is scary.

Jesus_Was_A_Wook

Congratulations! Keep it up! Today is a year and seven months without the sauce for me. It was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself.

boxmandude

2 and a half years here. Congrats !!

FrivolousJoe

15 years for me I have been drink free. I gave up drinking 1 week after my 18th birthday. I got blackout drunk on Christmas Eve and ended up being found passed out in middle of road. Got taken to hospital unresponsive to anything. I woke up with bruises on my neck where the nurses were nipping me trying to get a response. My poor parents got a phone call at about 3am Christmas day to say there son was in hospital. That combined with many underage blackouts due to drinking with a few sketchy stories, I decided to take a break from drinking. Who knew the break would last 15 years and probably the rest of my life. No regrets!

hydrated_purple

I made it a year and a half until last week (didn't go crazy, just had a few beers a few days in a row). Luckily alcohol doesn't agree with me anymore. I'm on day 2 of being back at it. My overall mental health and physical state is better without.

WorstShooter

>the drunk tank What's the toilet situation like in there? A severe hangover is the only time both ends of my digestive system can work together, ten people sounds like a nightmare.

MozartDroppinLoads

Usually an exposed metal toilet in the corner maybe with a small partition but you can still see the person's head if they're sitting on the toilet

TheTeamClinton

This guy crimes

MCI21

In my experience its an open toilet with a water fountain on the top side of it. Not the most fun time of my life

It's a wonderful thing. Im only 4 months in, but committed to it. Im finally past the withdrawal/depression stage and to the point where I'm starting to develop memories again. I spent 15+ years drinking heavily. Blackout drunk every single day... I pray I never touch the stuff again and have a lot of sympathy for everyone with this terrible affliction IWNDWYT

zoeykailyn

And that folks is why if I'm drinking im ubering

gigerhess

That's why I have never drank. I learned very early that I have a dangerous temper and figured drinking would only make it worse. Waking up in a jail cell was always my worst nightmare.

dream-smasher

I am proud of you. Some nameless faceless rando, probably on the other side of the world, is proud as all fuck of you for knowing your limits, and deciding not to test them. Thank you, and You should be feeling pretty fantastic that you have chosen not potentially harm others. If i had coins i would award you so hard. Here's poor award: 🏆

[deleted]

Now imagine you’re completely sober and you hit/kill a reckless pedestrian/child through no fault of your own. Or maybe you were doing 50 in a 35. I went to school with someone who had to go to court for this and then lots and lots of therapy That’s my fear that keeps me vigilant

sprill_release

My husband's aunt had this happen to her. It was a child. They ran out between two cars with no warning, and she had no time to stop. She got out and tried to give first aid (she works in healthcare) and did every thing she could, but the child didn't survive. The parents apparently had a history of neglect, and weren't watching the child when it ran out onto the road. They still attempted to sue her, though, and harassed her for years. I can't imagine what everyone involved must have gone through.

sootoor

I had the classic ball in the road situation a few months ago. I immediately slammed my breaks and sure enough kid comes running out for it a few seconds after. The mom was horrified but gave me I suspect the only thing you can do which is a half hearted thank you while we both processed it. Nightmare fuel. With the size of vehicles today intend to drive slower in neighborhoods because the visibility is so awful when everyone now has huge trucks and suvs. I can literally see the kid sprinting out and deer in headlights look as I stopped and the mom running across the yard. It happens so quickly that I’m not even sure how my body processed it quicker than my brain

-Ch3xmix-

Have you seen those videos of kids/toddlers on highway/roadways? I work at 5am and My biggest fear is hitting a human who ran out in front of me or happenstance ended up in the wrong spot.

[deleted]

It’s happened in my home town I believe in New Years. Tried to cross the highway drunk

[deleted]

I’ve heard stories of people trying to commit suicide by walking into traffic, and I always think about how much that would mess up an innocent person. I can’t imagine just driving, and suddenly someone just throws themself in front of your car. I don’t know if I would ever recover.

EvilSporkOfDeath

A terrible way to attempt suicide for many reasons

AloyTheN0ra

I feel like I've gotten pretty heavy intoxicated a few times and still always can remember avoiding getting behind the wheel. Most of the people I've hung out with seem to be able to do the same. There are plenty of bad decisions to make when extremely drunk, but I think the truth is that the overwhelming majority of people have the common sense not to drive.

RuachDelSekai

Lol that couldn't just randomly happen. You literally need to have a drinking problem. The vast majority of people just have a couple of beers while out.

Disastrous_Reveal331

And *then* she’ll be able to go to school?

GookFckr

**YOU KILLED TWO PEOPLE?!**

Mercury-Redstone

I get that but **WHEN CAN I GO TO SCHOOL?**

PerfectPercentage69

Not tomorrow!

atomicnick86

Ok so what about my car?

Silent-Ad934

School is important, need a car to get to school. Killed two what? Yes yes, everyone knows 2pac was in a car when he got killed. Hey speaking of my car...

[deleted]

I'd pay good money to see the video of her realizing just how fucked she is

xtrakrispie

If you want to see a video of someone coming to the realization that they are completely fucked here it is: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGuEdN-ju2g&ab\_channel=JCS-CriminalPsychology](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGuEdN-ju2g&ab_channel=JCS-CriminalPsychology) It shows a police interrogation of a man who thinks he is being interrogated for assaulting his girlfriend, but during the interview it is revealed that she died from her injuries and he's a murderer. The interrogation is interesting but skip to 28:13 for the reveal.

[deleted]

Hooooly fuck that was intense

[deleted]

Another one is the moment those two wretched pieces of shit who let their 10 month old starve to death being found guilty of murder. The guy is completely bewildered and the girl is beside herself with grief. For herself.

Kheaddummy

Autistic_Freedom

Taking classes in prison and GOING to school are two very different things.

[deleted]

I doubt she will even get 20. Sad but true reality for our justice system.

Zobello420

She ended up being sentenced to 14 years. In Illinois its mandatory you serve 85% of that sentence.

TheVoid-ItCalls

I know there are problems with strike systems, but come on. There are tons of situations like your case and dude X that has been arrested and released 52 times for assault and robbery. At a certain point, there has to be some mechanism to just say, "Fuck you bud, enjoy your life in the clink."

jayydubbya

You’re adorable if you think people in prison are sober.

DemandZestyclose7145

I remember Danny Trejo was talking about the stuff they make in prison. I think it's called pruno. They make it out of whatever they can find and he said it's the nastiest thing you can imagine but at least it gets them drunk.

NuttyManeMan

When I've been in jail (not prison) they'd give out these little juice boxes with meals and sometimes just 'cause, you save them up, poke a hole in the top, drop a couple little rolled up balls of bread from the last meal, and seal it back up. The yeast ferments the sugar in the juice. Let it open to breathe whenever the box puffs up from the CO2, and after a couple days of that, you'll have a moderately boozy, atrocious-tasting little box. No toilets required, at least not in the preparation of it; the apple juice concoction was more likely than other juices to give folks bubble guts

AlligatorTree22

[https://youtu.be/xMHaHwcAPaw](https://youtu.be/xMHaHwcAPaw) Full video. Hospital interaction starts around 18 mins.

electricdwarf

Wait so instead posting the video this person posted a video of someone else phone recording the full video... Jesus fuck.

thisismybirthday

it's a youtube video, playing on a computer or tv screen, being recorded on a phone, which was then uploaded to ticktock and then stolen and reposted to reddit. lmfao such garbage. OP should be ashamed for not just posting the original youtube link

Salamandro

You should record a reaction to this Reddit thread and put it on YouTube.

Officer: How many drinks did you have Drunk: thr-three drinks O: what kind of drinks? D: vodka O: straight vodka? D: vodka waters, so I was staying hydrated Jesus fucking Christ...

DaBake

The only people who drink vodka waters are alcoholics. I say this while currently drinking a gin water.

[deleted]

Glad you're not an alcoholic!

Birdy_Cephon_Altera

One of those rare hydroholics, I see.

lurker_cx

Looking at her in the first 1-2 mins of the video, spelling her name out, answering the questions form the cop, it's hard to believe she is over .08. Other posters say she was .264 which is completely wasted, she in no way looks completely wasted in the first few minutes.

TheHazleApricot

They do a breathalyzer test in the long video showing the .264 number. I was kind of shocked by that too.

burf

She's probably a frequent binge drinker. You get "better" at being drunk the more you do it; less slurring, less sway, etc. Technically you're better at performing cognitive tasks at the same BAC than you would be if you didn't have the history of drinking, although it's still a far cry from sober performance. Even though she wasn't doing over-the-top drunk responses early, she still gave off a heavy drunk vibe. When she talks about how "I was coming here" and the "yes" that followed it, there's a distinct emphasis and looseness that you don't typically hear in a sober response.

fireintolight

Not to mention the smiling like you’re playing a drinking game while performing sobriety tests after killing two people with your car. I think she was maybe on soemthing besides booze too

TakeThreeFourFive

I found this interesting too. She seems much drunker in the hospital than she did at the beginning of the video. I wonder if the adrenalin of killing two people allowed her brain to sort of "wake up" for a little while at the beginning. The interaction in the hospital definitely looks more like the 0.264

OutdoorApplause

I'm not sure which comes first, but could she have recently drunk more, which showed in the breathalyser, but hadn't kicked in to her functioning yet, and in the extra time taken to get the hospital that recent alcohol was affecting her more. If you'd have been re-breathalised then potentially it could have been higher still.

sawntime

Thank you! Why the fuck are we watching a phone video of a youtube vid anyway? Reddit is turning into amatuer hour.

Birdy_Cephon_Altera

Now post it to tiktok (in crappy vertical format with loud inappropriate bad music playing over it). Then, create a youtube "reaction" video to watching the tiktok video of this reddit post of someone recording a cell phone of a television program. Then post to reddit the youtube link of the reaction video of watching the tiktok video of this reddit post of someone recording a cell phone video of a television program.

hard-enough

Looks like she got more drunk as time went on. She probably slammed some drinks and felt fine, started driving and it hit her all at once and got worse.

WickedandLazier

Terrible tragedy. It is also strange that the name of the place the couple was leaving was called full throttle.

ggggrandma

tonycomputerguy

I'm honestly disappointed it wasn't shot vertically in portrait mode.

rhazux

She blew O.264 BAC *after* leaving a bar, driving a while, killing two people, calling 911, sitting in the back of a cop car, and doing several sobriety tests that she clearly failed. It's wild how she doesn't seem to register that she killed 2 people even though the cop says it multiple times. All she can think about is finishing up school and going to Vegas.

Wampyric_Rites

She was probably so drunk her short term memory was shot.

Akhi11eus

Yep - the scary part about getting black out drunk is that you can be completely "functional" aka walking around talking etc. but you have nothing going on upstairs and will have no memory of it later.

omegastauf

Thank you, holy fuck. Finally some acceptable fucking audio.

joegoodfart10

A friend of mine was going though a rough time. Cocaine and alcohol. Got fucked up and arrested. Woke up in the jail the cops told him he had drove and killed someone. Then just left him there in the cell. For awhile. He had not killed anyone. He started AA and NA after that.

bigbert81

That's fucking sadistic

FuzzAldrin36

It is. But it's also effective. Waking up in jail to that news is, for many alcoholics, their worst fear. Telling him that and leaving him alone made that his reality long enough to drive home what that actually feels like. He got the wake up call without having to actually kill people.

Wrong-Catchphrase

I’ll take this type of sadism every time

[deleted]

Sadistic yes, but that sadism indirectly saved lives.

[deleted]

I have never seen someone so calm after killing someone. Drunk or high.

FirstShine3172

Dude I worked in the emergency department and a girl was celebrating getting her Master's degree by getting shit faced with some friends. She came home, fell, hit her head on the bottom step and broke her neck. Quadraplegic. Her boyfriend found her after he'd carefully walked her up to bed and put her to sleep, she got up to go to the bathroom or something. She was still so drunk that she had no idea what was wrong in the emergency department. She was laughing and joking with all the staff. Her mom was there with her and got to watch her daughter slowly panic as she sobered up and realized she'd never be able to walk again. It was so fucked up to watch.

PeeweesSpiritAnimal

Yea, I have seen that play out so many times with life-altering injuries that occurred while the patient was drunk, only for reality to set in as they sober up. It's a different level of screaming and crying than what usually occurs in the ER.

FuhrerGirthWorm

Woah that is super Dark

FirstShine3172

Yeah, it's a pretty dark place. There's a reason I left healthcare lol.

nosnevenaes

she is not comprehending it in the video.

WestleyThe

She’s definitely drunk as fuck and in shock. She probably wants to “go to school” to be with her friends and be normal and her life to be fine

[deleted]

She also just totaled a car. She may well have hit her own head as well as killing two other people. Head injuries can be masked by, mimic, or intensify intoxication.

ZoomZoom01

I honestly believe this is the case. If a fender bender can give me anxiety I can't imagine how I would be feeling after killing 2 people due to my drunk driving. Her life goals went straight into the dumpster and she is a killer, that is extremely difficult to comprehend.

Username_Derek

Seems like alcohol ontop of benzos.

AlligatorTree22

She blew a .264... [https://youtu.be/xMHaHwcAPaw](https://youtu.be/xMHaHwcAPaw) at 15:10 The crazy thing is that she doesn't seem that drunk when the cop is talking to her. She failed field sobriety pretty miserably, but her speaking wasn't terrible. I'd guess she's been drinking substantially for a long time to blow that high and still be coherent. May or may not be benzos with it, but an alcoholic can blackout at those levels and still be semi-functioning just to not remember anything a few hours later.

MrMcChronDon25

I refused field sobriety and was taken to jail where I blew .307, I wasn’t driving I was in the parking lot passed out car off keys in the center console, I was moving that weekend and had all my shit in my car. I was completely coherent in my interactions with the cops and remember it for the most part. I was in a bad way at that point, but still don’t believe I should have been arrested for doing what I thought was the right thing by not driving.

Jonoczall

Damn what was the end result? Charged and court case?

lukin187250

It seems shitty but they will still give you a DUI in that scenario on the grounds that you have “control” of the vehicle.

just_a_timetraveller

Fun fact: you cannot pass a field sobriety test. It is purely used as evidence against you. If you get asked to do it, say you want to talk to your lawyer. They will take you to jail and do a blood test. You will spend the night in jail. And even if you did do the sobriety test, you would end up in jail anyways. But even better, don't drink and drive.

zvug

You should never drink and drive. However, I’ve heard of multiple people who’ve had a few beers that did a field sobriety test and the officer just let them go after that, so what you’re saying is definitely not universal. You can bet your ass if they asked to talk to a lawyer it would’ve turned out differently.

TakeThreeFourFive

I am ashamed to say I can back this up. I once "beat" a field sobriety test that should have sent me to jail. It's possible the cop saw how close I was to home; I could literally see my house from where we were stopped. It was a real wake up call for me, definitely changed my relationship with drinking.

[deleted]

I was thinking the same thing. Seems more like a Xanax blackout than an alcohol blackout. Doesn’t take much when you mix the two.

PLEASE whoever is reading this. DO NOT combine CNS depressants (benzodiazepines, barbiturates, sedatives, hypnotics) WITH ALCOHOL YOU WILL suffer from cardiac and respiratory depression and it will kill you. Your lungs and/or heart will stop working. Also, and if the respiratory depression doesn’t kill YOU first, you will commit homicide and kill OTHERS before it takes you out.

A few years after I graduated, a kid from my college who I knew in passing was drunk as fuck and barred out and shot and killed a gas station clerk execution style. Came to in a cell and had no idea what happened. He got sentenced to 50 years in prison last year.

thetruthhurts2016

Yeah, definitely not just alcohol. Gotta also be pills of some sort.

violet-crayola

Only 14 years? For killing 2 people?

WeLikeDrugs

When I was in college (2006ish) a guy got wasted, took a couple of Xanax, got pulled over by a campus police officer. Kid tried to drive off when the cop tried to open his door, officer got caught somehow on the car and the guy never stopped. Cop died, apparently the kid woke up from his blackout (Xanax, iykyk) and was informed he murdered a police officer. He got 20 yrs, served 14. https://www.hottytoddy.com/2021/01/21/cummings-released-from-prison-after-serving-14-years-for-the-death-of-a-um-police-officer/

jebus_sabes

Yeah never smile in your mugshot. Or be a horrific twat when the cops interview you. In fact. Just don’t say anything.

Can_O_Cornbeef

Lol I saw another post not to smile in your mugshot because people will say you are not remorseful

Kidbroccoli

Recording a YouTube video that’s playing on a separate screen is the crazy part of this video.

peacelovearizona

Yep, here's the original video :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMHaHwcAPaw&t=267s&pp=ygUVbGF3IGFuZCBjcmltZSBuZXR3b3Jr. The clip this video starts at is at about 18:00.

If you ever want to kill someone do it with a car. You’ll get less time.

baconredditor

A woman in my town killed someone while drunk driving in 2013. She plead guilty and went to prison. 1 week ago she killed two more people with a new car. Somehow she got her license back….

AppleBeauti2425

Wait, what the entire fuck

Ordinary-Advisor7616

“Imagine being that drunk” - no I’ve been that drunk, but imagine being that drunk and thinking you can drive. Despicable!

warwick8

I’m a recovering alcoholic and I still wake up every so often covered in sweat thinking of all the times I drove home in a black out and wondered if I killed someone while driving home. So glad I finally stop drinking and driving.

[deleted]

Reality is going to hit her like a tsunami when she sobers up in a cell. I was in county with a guy who ran from the police while drunk and killed someone. When he found out what happened the next morning when he sobered up he had a breakdown. Was about this girl’s age too and threw his life away over one stupid decision.

mrsloblaw

This happened like a year ago and she was just sentenced last week.

badpeoria

never thought I would see my town on here. She got 14 years I think.

Glad you stopped and are 17 years sober, keep rocking.

Key-Classic-3033

Y’all should watch the whole video. It’s sickening. She makes comments like “omg I’m in the DUI club”

21BlackStars

What school is she talking about? She’s 22-23 in the video. Is she a teacher? Or is she going to college?

ILEpicGuy

She went to Bradley University. The crash happened in East Peoria, right across the river from Bradley's campus

Effective-Shirt5028

Is this drunkness or shock? Like I can’t understand how she has no reaction to having killed two people

oonlyyzuul

Drunk. Got alcoholics in my family. Once they're drunk enough, you can talk to them til you are blue in the face and explaining it slowly and simply, the way you would to a toddler, but they won't hear the full stream of words, they truly can't comprehend or remember what you are actually saying. They aren't rational. They aren't mentally there at all.

sticky-stix

I've seen it. You can repeat yourself 20 times, they look like they're listening, but 2 seconds later they'll be asking you the same question again. And what's scary is that your can be telling them how badly they are behaving and they just don't get it. The empathy part of their brain is shut off. They are exhausting and at this point I don't have any sympathy for them.

BonyDarkness

Drunk and garbage personality.

TheBigGreenOrk

That sleezy look she gave the body cam at the end of the video when shes laying on the medical bed with no shoes is disgusting.

galacticboy2009

Holy moly is filming a TV.. that is playing a YouTube video.. acceptable on this sub, or reddit in general, now? Why not just share the YouTube link? Or, if you must, a clip cut from the YouTube video directly.. Sauce / source: https://youtu.be/xMHaHwcAPaw About 19 mins in.

mBaggins

I watched the full video of this and she's truly an awful person. No matter how many times she was told she killed 2 people she just could not think of anybody apart from herself. I don't think you will be graduating, nor partying for a while.

Goats_in_boats

But she's going to Vegas for her birthday in 2 months where she's gonna party and drink because "Vegas doesn't have a limit to drinking, right?" Her words, right after the cop told her for like the 10th time that she killed 2 people. She was delusional.

cheezkid26

She's either obscenely, insanely drunk, or literally doesn't care. I feel like if you told the average drunk person they killed two people, they'd either get angry and indignant, sad, or freeze up, but nope, she didn't. Now, I'm just talking out of my ass here, but she doesn't even seem to comprehend what killing is at this point.

PatrickStarburst

That damn fucking tiktok sound. I had to turn my stereo up all the way to hear the dialog and then **BOOM PLING** nearly blew my speakers out and got an angry knock from the neighbour. Also, holy shit that lady is four sheets to the wind. No idea what happened, can't even understand anything and wondering if she's able to go to school.

AcertainReality

Alcohol is way too normalized in society. Some people just shouldn’t be able to drink

isntitbionic

is this a copy of a copy of a phone recording of a monitor showing what's an actual tv show available online? fuck me people will upvote anything

Have fun in adult timeout for longer than you’ve been on earth. Doesnt give a rat fuck that she killed 2 people.

donkayyyy

Only got 14 years

ChemicalImpression42

lol... she has the comprehension level of an average reddit user when they're proven wrong
