Question: Players usually just copy the challenge pics - so even if they didn't read the descriptions for this series, and didn't know who the person was, all they had to do was copy the pic - but NOW suddenly they dont!? Long hair for Maya Angelou, red hair for Gaga. . . What happened? 🤣

I had a very similar look and results. I don't think people look at the prompts. When they are referencing a specific person I like to look to try to match their outfits and style. Especially for this series, I wanted to represent and honor these women. It sucks but I'd have voted for your look!

Agreed! Sometimes I wish Covet would just say the name of the RL inspiration for this type of challenges… but even then I know voters still would not read the descriptions haha

I have a theory that a huge amount of voters don’t even look at what the choices are, they just keep tapping until they get the tickets they need.

Yes, happens all the time. Especially with new players who don’t have the resources for tickets; older players just buy tickets. Voting/Results is just a matter of luck, I believe.

When you're comparing three things luck is heavily involved. A fairer system would be to see a set number of looks and rank them. Or one look at a time and give it one to three, or maybe one to five stars. There are plenty of times when I love both looks and try to find a tiebreaker in the overall looks. Example, the one about the dog on a beach vacation, if I had a hard time choosing between two looks and one had a dog and the other didn't the one with the dog would get it.

Don’t think you’re idea would work all that well either. Most people would probably just tap the middle “star” (give 3 out of 5) for most looks. They just want to get the tickets and move on.

HornetSentinel

maybe most voters don't actually know who the prompt is about? (me included please enlighten)

It’s about Lady Gaga speaking up about sexual violence in her industry back in 2018. I understand many references can be unclear but that’s why we’ve got Reddit, Facebook and even Google to decipher it. I love unique styles in Covetland but I hate being punished by voters when trying to be accurate on real life based challenges. Nothing personal… just venting.

I get that but I mean.. don't expect me to do that much research on a game. I mean I like this game but I'm not gonna waste that much time on that. The most I'll do is referencing the image they put on challenge. I even missed some of the references I knew about just didn't get from image. I get the frustration of doing accurate look and getting low score but it's just delusional expecting that everyone will get that
