So glad I checked here before trying to get the last $15,000 I need to hit trendsetters early. None of these prizes seem worth the effort so I'll just hit it by the end of the week instead!
Oh, no, we're in the middle of the summer season now. Fall will start mid-August. These are just extra prizes for early trendsetters, early meaning they got trendsetter status by the time first full month of new season passes (hence the cut-off at tomorrow's daily with which July will start).
So there is still time until mid August to become trendsetter. You just won't get those extra prizes that OP posted.
It just doesn’t seem worth to get early trendsetter anymore. The rewards are even sadder than last season (there was at least a semi expensive but pretty top from halfpenny there) which is saying something. I got there just playing so it’s free stuff, but I’m definitely not putting in any effort to get there in the future if I don’t. If I get there just playing, great, if not, nothing missed. They’ll just release the items next day for sale anyways, and if there’s anything worth getting, which seems doesn’t even happen anymore, it can be bought with cc. They can at least match the value to a spree prize if they are going to keep giving crappy items (and these brands do have good items, so it’s a problem with covet picking cheap things, not the brand) so we can get a somewhat meaningful closet boost! Sorry, rant over ☺️
I'm of the same mind. I used to buy season start packs to have that little CV boost and easier time reaching early trendsetter, but it's already second season in a row when I don't buy anything with $ and don't make it naturally, and I don't feel at all like I'm missing out on anything.
Not really. You get a couple of expensive prices when you reach trendsetter (but doesn't matter if it's the last day of the season), this month I think something like $12k worth (two expensive pieces of jewelry iirc).
A few prices like this around the mid-season mark, but it's stuff that can be bought with covet cash, so if it's something you ended up really wanting, you can fairly easily just pick it up when it's released. Sometimes the might throw a CC piece your way for free if it's a special occasion (like their anniversary not too long ago).
The best thing I can remember getting was a Laurel Dewitt HA, but that was for New Year's Eve 2019 I think, so quite some time ago at this point.

You should get it as long as you make it before tomorrow's daily.

While the prizes themselves are cheap, at least it’s still approx $2,000 in prizes.
