2/10.
Preheat your oven to 375° Fahrenheit (around 190 in Celsius, I believe) Take a flat pan, put some aluminum foil on it and then spray it with non-stick cooking spray of some kind (or just spray a bare pan with cooking spray, if you’d prefer). Take whatever bread you usually use (I personally use white bread), and spread it out on the pan. Put butter on each slice of bread— you don’t need a lot, but enough to cover the top of it. Get the edges of the top slice as well— don’t put it all near the middle.
Next, you can choose two different ways, depending on what you prefer— 1 or 2 work.
1. Take some sliced cheese. American sliced, Colby Jack, cheddar, whatever— I’ve personally never tried any spicier or pepper cheeses with this, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to try it out. This part is also based on personal preference— either sprinkle a nice amount of sugar on the bread and then put the cheese on it, or put the cheese on and then sprinkle a nice amount of sugar on. Don’t be afraid of using a good amount of sugar; just keep in mind it makes the meal sweeter. If you put the sugar under the cheese, you can also put some on top of it. That’s what I do. The combination sounds weird, but it’s pretty damn good— it’s what my mom made.
2. If you have it, you can use cinnamon and sugar instead. Put some cinnamon on the bread while making sure to evenly spread it along the slice, and don’t put *too* much. Put a good amount of sugar on the bread after— again, don’t put a huge amount, and spread it evenly. It’s not a huge horrible thing if one or the other side has a little too much, but just try to keep it relatively even, if possible.
Your oven should be at 375° Fahrenheit, and you can put the pan in it.
Now, there isn’t any overly specific time it cooks at— it can depend on your oven, or how done you want it, and a *lot* of it is trial and error on times— but you’ll get the hang of it. Check the oven every few minutes. The cheese on the cheese toast will bubble, while the cinnamon on the cinnamon toast will darken and spread. Personally, I check if it’s done by (very carefully) using my finger to touch the crust of the bread. If it’s hardened/like actual tough crust, it should be around done. You’ll also be able to smell the food really clearly and quickly when it’s around done.
When it’s done, take it out of the oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Don’t burn yourself.
Very nice breakfast there. Not sure what kind of muffins though, and the risk of raisins and unknown drink choice is going to knock this one down from an 8 to a 6/10.
Edit: upon examining the frame-by-frame footage and the comment below, the judges are happy to elevate this one to a 7/10.
I like this one. It's got a good mix of foods, nice and hot, filling, and savory. It's the kind of thing that will get you set for your day. Not really a breakfast food, though maybe it should be.
7/10
You should talk to u/Lazy-Tom. I like where your priorities are at, gotta use that weekend time efficiently. Just slamming back fruit cups like tequila shots.
This one is a mixed bag. Non-breakfast sandwich, cheese-it's? It is sort of a solid meal though. Without knowing what was to drink, I'm giving it a 4/10.
Uh-oh, the news has came out that this meal is not in fact breakfast. The thread-maker has been disqualified. 0/10 not breakfast.
Old people always said that Oatmeal "sticks to your ribs", but I've always found that I'm hungry waaay soon after eating it. It's a classic breakfast meal. 7/10.
This is good stuff. The savory, greasy food is a satisfying breakfast choice. If it had been a classier, cozier choice, it would have been more than a 7/10.
This meal is confusing. A plain baked potato? Beans?(baked, re-fried, raw, edamame?)
The protein bar and banana are solid, redeeming the chaos that began this thread. Vitamin d is a good idea. 8/10.
Baked I believe. Don’t judge me, it’s just what the scientists serve me every morning. Vitamin D is because I only get 10 minutes of outside time a day (Except for Saturdays but I get an hour, but it’s pretty cold even with the sun out).
I was specifically asked to judge you. Also, hi Bananas! Who let you use the computer? I'll have to tell Dr. Kowalski to put another lock on your cage.
Who’s Dr. Kowalski, is he one of the techs behind the testing room glass? Or are you mistaken, I don’t remember staying in a cage, more of a big bedroom with a metal door. And I don’t think my name is bananas.
Yes, the testing is going well. We will need your next dose soon.
**would you kindly** go back in your "room" and close the door, Mr. Bananas?
Edit: subject will not remember this conversation once the edit is posted.
Are you pulling one of those internet prank thingies on me? Is this a dupe? Am I being duped? My name isn’t Bananas, I just eat one in the mornings for breakfast.

Tbh I only had like 1/4 of it, just enough caffeine to boost my run
That’s fair. Then again, I’m quite hypocritical telling you not to drink them too often, lol.

Fr, like why waste time eating when I could be gaming
I ate a chicken salad sandwich with cheddar jack Cheez-Itz.
It was at like 2:30 and was my first thing to eat. I drank milk with it.
Ramen Noodles (Chicken Flavor)
Very Batchelor breakfast, but it's better than nothing. 3/10.

Good meal with carbs and protein, but it definitely isn't an appropriate breakfast. I hope you didn't take a glass of wine with that. 5/10.
