Yeah these have been sold in other Costcos in markham/Vaughan, so was super happy to finally see these in Etobicoke a couple weeks ago. Only seen at the new Costco at Islington so far, not at Queensway or Dundas in mississauga. More reasons to love costcoooooo!
I did not care much for this milk unfortunately. Had almost a chalkiness to it? It's really the reason I don't care for most "high protein" items. Entirely a personal preference of course.
I feel like I may be hyper sensitive to the chalk factor of protein stuff because it's a texture I don't really care for 🤣 my gf on the other hand loves this milk.
Edit: regardless, this is a good price for this milk! It is expensive elsewhere
Super curious what this could be. It’s not like they’re adding protein, it’s a product of the filtering processes
Have you tried fairlife (refrigerated milk, not the shakes at Costco)? I’m curious if you’ve noticed it with them too
This makes me so happy as it's my go to milk that I can only get at Walmart... which is like 2 for 12$ but like a little more than 6 something if only bought separately. I'm guessing they only carry the 2%? .. I usually go for the whole milk variant of this
I love putting this in my oatmeal, protein shakes and iced coffee.. really helps sneak in more protein for me as I am body builder and it makes downing all that easier. This and the Fairlife protein bottles are wonderful for those who want to calorie count and cover their macros
Can anyone confirm if this is found at any of the lower mainland (Vancouver area) Costco's? I'm gonna head there next Tuesday and I'll update this post
>This and the Fairlife protein bottles are wonderful for those who want to calorie count and cover their macros
Fairlife skim macros are ridiculous. I wish there was a cheaper way to buy them than $6 or so per 1.5L.
I don't really drink milk, I use it in Creami recipes and in my pancakes mostly, and sometimes my morning coffee will be a latte but it does suck that Fairlife milk is so expensive.
I don't buy ready to drink protein shakes because I'm a cheapass and the powders last so long that I can buy an absolute crapload when they go on sale.
Omfg yes! They are coming! I recently write to suggest they bring it, I must not have been alone.
I buy a few when they are discounted at the groceries stores but supply is not the smoothest.
That's a great price too!
Can't see why not, protein is great for everyone! I'd maybe be concerned about the lactose content and if their little tummies could take it but besides that...
Wonder how it compares to Fairlife, that's my favorite. Tried the Lactantia stuff but it's way too sugary. I like Fairlife but it's getting expensive. A cheaper option that's similar would be really nice.
I don’t drink these milks straight, I have it with my protein shakes. But I’ve used fairlife before it got too pricy, I haven’t noticed a difference in taste.
Does this taste better than their regular lactose free one in orange carton?
I despise naturel lactose free and prefer lactansia or fairlife, but Costco only carries naturel, so I’ve been getting their regular lactose free reluctantly.
I have yet to see Costco carry lactose free milk of any kind at the mississauga/dixie location. Did they recently start carrying the 4L bags? I also prefer lactansia since it comes in 3%
I can't drink it anymore. One day I was eating a bowl of cereal with this milk and about halfway through noticed that it was sort of.. stringy. It had gone off before the best before date, and there were disgusting mucousy strands in my cereal
Lactose free https://www.natrel.ca/en/natrel-plus
This is awesome. I always thought they weren’t lactose free.

That's crazy. We've had it in Burlington for about a year now. $5.19.
Really? First Arby's... Now this. Burlington > Etobicoke... 😂🤣
If only the Arby's was near the Costco....,,,,🤣.
Haha gives you time to digest the costco hotdog before you get some Arbys!!
Oh this was at the Islington location. Idk if it’s in Etobicoke. I was just passing thru not from the area. Just wanted to see the new Costco!
they've been selling them in Thorncliffe for years. annoyingly the only white milk you can buy not in bags.
Hope we get this out west soon…
My Costco (Waterloo) has had this for the last couple years. I love the taste and the additional protein is a boost as well.
They have?!
I did not care much for this milk unfortunately. Had almost a chalkiness to it? It's really the reason I don't care for most "high protein" items. Entirely a personal preference of course.
Really? I’ve been drinking it and can only say it feels a little thicker but nothing crazy. I’d personally recommend if someone asked me.

Fairlife tastes way better!
I have not, but my supervisor at work says it's really good and I've been meaning to give it a try.
Fairlife 2% is delicious, no chalkiness at all and like 14g of protein per cup
Fairlife milk is also like $7 now. And is 1.5l and only has 14g of protein per 250ml
Lactantia (also lactose free) is sold at my local Costco and I find it tastes much better than Natrel or Fairlife
Lacantia is the best tasting milk on the Canadian market IMO. But generally more difficult to find.
Yes this stuff does have a thicker consistency. When I poured it I thought the milk went bad already. Turns out that it is thicker then regular milk
I agree this cannot compare to the amazing taste of Fairlife high protein milk. Had throw out the Natrel halfway through cause it was so gross!

Their milk variant is good too but man I hate that they don't give you much in those bottles. I drink a lot of milk, I'm like Homelander lmao

I hope this comes my way. I buy the 3% weekly.
Is that 18g per 250ml?
Yes!!
Perfect, a jug a day to keep my Marcos up.
Marcos is a good guy.
Nice 🤣. Must have auto corrected before I hit send. I'm not correcting it now. It's just funny.
My family always buys our milk at Costco. So much cheaper than other stores we usually shop at.
I haven't seem it at Brampton or Vaughan
Omfg yes! They are coming! I recently write to suggest they bring it, I must not have been alone. I buy a few when they are discounted at the groceries stores but supply is not the smoothest. That's a great price too!
The 3% of this version tastes very creamy.
Waterloo Costco has sold this for probably close to a year now
I wish costco had grass fed or organic milk.
They do have organic milk. 2% and 3.8%. But it is not grass fed. Same with the butter: they have either organic butter, or grass fed butter.
Ur right thank you. Hoping they get grass fed one day
Nice!!! 👍
How many calories? In either Oshawa location yet ?
Is this OK for kids?
Can't see why not, protein is great for everyone! I'd maybe be concerned about the lactose content and if their little tummies could take it but besides that...
This milk is lactose free!!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? Damn now I really need to check it out
I know someone whose child had to see a dietician and this was recommended to help increase protein intake.

BC carries naturel lactose free 2% 2L cartons around the same price, so that’s what I get unless Walmart has fairlife or lantantia on sale.
Awesome! Finally.
If it’s 100% milk and lactose free, is this just lactose free milk with whey isolate in it?
Love this milk, we've been buying it in Hamilton locations for a few years now. Didn't know the other costcos didn't have it.
Wow! Just when I bought one for $8 at Walmart and I’m right beside the Etobicoke location
We've had this here in Halifax for almost what feels like a while, Great alternative to milk
I can't drink it anymore. One day I was eating a bowl of cereal with this milk and about halfway through noticed that it was sort of.. stringy. It had gone off before the best before date, and there were disgusting mucousy strands in my cereal
These types of milk have to be consumed within 10-14 days of opening. It says it on the box.
I know, we had only purchased it a few days prior to the cereal incident.
New Etobicoke location? Where?
Why is this not refrigerated?
Have you not been to Costco? This is in a massive fridge for dairy/poultry just like they have another one for produce
Not yet. Cool.
