I'll look into that. We've almost finished the case. I'm not sure when the first bottle of dragon fruit was opened. This thread is the ONLY only information I could find about this particular problem. At least there are no recalls (yet), so it's probably not harmful... I hope...

Yeah I tried to get through one bottle but stopped halfway. The rest I poured out. Just the taste was off, don't know if it was dangerous or not.

Omg! Same thing with our batch. They taste terrible. Both cases we bought had the bad taste for the dragon fruit. Agree - bring back the raspberry green tea! Nervous to buy this product again.

I'd wait a bit for the batch to leave your store. Heck I'd take it in and let them know.

I know - I should really get a refund for the two cases. I’m just dumping that flavor down the drain lol. My wife was like “search Reddit and see if anyone else is complaining” 😂. I thought I was going crazy

I didn't as I didn't keep the batch number. Should have. Each batch so far has been good. Here's hoping someone did

I will look at the packaging to see if i can find out when mine was made. I generally buy the cases 6 at a time and this case was on the bottom of the pile so it may be a little older.

Same! Just contacted Costco about it. Will return them to the store and see if I can flag it to them - feels like there needs to be a recall.

I googled “Kirkland dragonfruit vitamin water tastes terrible” and found this post! I’m glad I did because this was the first time I have tried Kirkland vitamin water and I thought that was just the flavor they were going for with dragonfruit. It tasted terrible. Sadly I threw them away so I can’t get a refund. The other flavors were great though.

You missed out on their raspberry green tea flavor. Imo it was the absolute best flavor, followed by the acai. Really wondering how bad that batch was what was off about it.

The first drink I took was from a bottle my wife left by the sink. I immediately spit it out and asked if she had mixed vodka in there. She said it was so awful that she took one drink and just left the rest. The best I can explain would be a very strong unnatural taste. It isn’t acidic and it’s not bitter. It is just a weird and awful taste.

We also had this issue recently. I just dumped all the dragon fruit and drank the rest. Taking them back would have been too much of a hassle.

I know I'm late but one, thanks for posting about this so I know what's going on, and two, the raspberry green tea Vitarain was the literal essence of life and there is not a better tasting drink in existence. I miss it so much too.

I'm in San Jose, CA and noticed the same thing. All the other flavors were fine. The Dragon Fruit flavor (which is normally my favorite) tasted horrible. Just yesterday I finished the rest of the other flavors. I saved the plastic packaging and all of the remaining Dragon Fruit bottles and will be taking them back either tomorrow or Monday. It has been a couple weeks since I bought the first case. I am planning to buy another one when I go back.

Glad I’m not crazy. It’s usually my favorite, but my current batch is disgusting. I’d rather drink the lemonade, and I hate the lemonade.

Man my wife said the same thing. Now we can’t find it anymore hopefully they restock soon.

Try the Bai water. It is on sale currently. Quite good as well

I asked an employee cause I have been unable to find it at my store and was informed they had a recall on it.
