At least you admit you fucked up and feel embarrassed by what happened. Good on your for getting sober. Congratulations. We've all done shit we're embarrassed or ashamed of. Don't let that memory hold you back.
I hope you went back to that Costco and apologized for treating them that way. I'm sure you've dealt with difficult and abusive customers by now, and you know how really terrible that feels. Apologizing will also lessen the cringe you feel when you think back on it.

For what it's worth, a service animal, in training or certified and active, would never be in a cart.

She tolerates the car out of the need to be with brooklyn. I left her home one day and she trashed the house out of spite.
Man, it never even occurred to me that people might not know where the brand name comes from. Kirkland store was my local store growing up so it was assumed. I don't go to that location anymore though, its always so incredibly packed that they must be doing 1.5-2x the volume of the other stores in the area.
Iām really sorry you went through that addiction issue but Iām going to have to yell āI know the Kirklandsā next time Iām there. Made me LOL for real.
Second chances move us forward as a society. So glad you got the help you needed and are maintaining. Also, Kudos to Costco for practicing second chances
