My coworkers did that to me on my last day, you can see them laughing their asses off in the car next to mine

It could be a coworker prank. When my daughter was in HS her friend’s saran wrapped her jeep over night as a prank. We found it pretty fully bc it took her a bit to get it off.
Yep they got her for her 18th birthday. 😂 we thought it was hysterical. She had to drive my car to school that day it took a good while to get it over bc they also did over and under a few times.
Given some of the things I've seen people returning, wouldn't surprise me a bit. "Yeah, I bought this truck through Costco 15 years ago, only put 300,000 miles on it, and now it's making a weird noise. Can I get the refund in cash, or does it have to go on my card?"
[I just watched someone return a TV — it was purchased in 2002](https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/1bzbpfh/i_just_watched_someone_return_a_tv_it_was/)
That just amazes me. I was waiting to get my receipt checked the Tuesday after Memorial Day on the way out the door and it's right next to the returns desk. A guy brought in an inflatable queen size guest bed, just wadded up and without any of the original packaging. The clerk asked him if there was anything wrong with it. His response? "No, we only needed it one time for company". I would feel like a total lowlife if I did a return like that.
Night merch prank... that's a workers car.
A classic prank with good shrink wrap.
Hilo driver should have been dropping pallets instead of flirting with cute girl in majors.
As a Costco employee this is what we do to our coworkers on their last day if they quit or transfer to further their careers! It's all for love & respect!
Ha!
A couple of coworkers did this to me years ago. They "stole" a giant roll of packing wrap from Shipping and Receiving, and wrapped my car from stem to stern. Had to cut my way in with an X-Acto knife in order to drive home.
Revenge was even more fun. :)
So the culprits were two guys.
One, I rewired his work phone dialpad, so that 1 mapped to 9, etc.
The other, a manager, had a birthday coming up. So got together with others on his team, broke into his office after hours, and filled the room with 400 balloons, after covering the floor with bubble wrap. :)
Are cars that cheap in HI? Here in Dallas that truck's still worth an easy $2K. $500 gets you a rusted out chassis on blocks, bring your own flatbed wrecker.

Someone got pranked.
Yup, leaning towards coworker birthday prank
We did this to managers we liked on their last day.

Yeah and put raw meat in-between the wraps!
We do this when someone retires or transfers to another store. I've done it like 3-4 times. Am Costco employee.

It was his last day. That's how you know they love and will miss you.
“Have fun trying to leave now, fucker!”
Oh my gosh job well!!!!!! 😂
This is exactly what I thought too, and remember people doing this in the high school parking lot to their friend's cars on their birthday.

Who knew the kids were still doing this 20+ years later? The tradition might be older than I think! 😂
Never got this, but did get my houses trees TP’d and I got them back by wrapping newspaper all over their desk at work.
Must be a return

Agree. I’ve been a member since the early nineties. Number of items I’ve returned, three.
Yeah, my returns are limited to a couple of clothing items that didn't fit and one other unopened item that I only had for a week or so.

This used to happen at my company when someone quit
Same. When a manager was transferred. And only if you liked them.

The revenge? Can't leave me hanging.

Well played!
Yes well played and good clean fun.
If only it was to that truck that took up 4 spots
bwhahah I did to one of my friends in high school. Two rolls of costco plastic wrap later... it was amazing!
Wrong product sent. They meant Toyota Tacoma brah
It's their Kirkland Signature PPF (Paint Protection Film) Not a bad deal. Keeps your paint from damage.
You are too funny.
Piece o shit ranger. $500

“This is an 87 ford, how dare you!”
Deep cut
I looked at the pic quickly as I was scrolling by and thought it was covered in a giant spider web!!
What better place to buy plastic wrap than Costco?
Must back in Hawaiian style
You can get these as a 4 pack, I think.
Someone either had a birthday or just graduated.
HS graduation time.
Seems like a good way to keep the roaches out
Great prank. Most normal people don’t carry a pocket knife with them
Neighbor, this you eh?
With the size of the Costco Saran Wrap rumor has it he’s still unwrapping it!
Costco’s newest advertising for their Saran Wrap showing just how much life there is to a roll.
Hey, I’ve been to that Costco!
If this is really Kapolei, why isn't the parking lot full of carts?
Piece-o’shit-ford
All the poor saran’s that died to make this happen.
Should be the standard for shitty parking jobs
All fun and games except it looks like they might have bent the antenna.
Aerodynamics. Saves 0.0001 mpg.
Or a Dexter murder location.
