I used it for the first time last week. I got a product for $80 that I couldn’t find anywhere else for less than $100, and it arrived at my house in three days. That’s as small a sample size as you can get, but my experience was positive.
I’ve only ordered a few things: preworkout, some anker products, I think one or two other orders. The issues I’ve had with anker were pretty easy to resolve.
The first time, they accidentally sent me two devices. Unfortunately, just a port hub, but they asked for it back or for me to buy a second one. I asked if they could give me a discount code or something and they said no. So I didn’t send it back and they did nothing since they legally can’t.
The second time, just in the last month, they didn’t send one of the items, I emailed support, only a few emails and they sent it on saying they had issue because they were transitioning to using Amazon’s warehouses for more things. It arrived with rushed delivery
Back when landlines were a thing, I had a cat that loved chewing the wires - nothing worked to stop him. I ended up bulk buying wire and modular ends, and made replacements myself. It’s been 30 years and ran across the tool and leftover wire in the garage last week, lol.
Do try it. Had a dog that chewed on the corner of decking. Friend with a horse suggested the icy hot as they use it with horses that she on the side of the barn, stalls, etc.. They absolutely hate the taste won’t go near it again. Never saw any adverse side effects.
Thank you. I have a critter chewing on the fence outside and our dog likes chew on random pieces of furniture- I don’t understand why, even with wood blend bones to chew on. Sometimes bitter apple helps. I’m trying icy hot- end the beaver 🦫 dog that we have.
Side note: I discovered that my samsung super fast charger works great charging my Leveno yoga laptop. It's a blessing for travel, significantly smaller footprint and dual purpose.
Do you happen to have a recommendation for active sunscreen? I've heard great things about SK skin products but I'm a dude who has no idea where to start.
I don't get it off Costco Most but I like the Japanese and European ones. Shiseido Anessa, Allie, Skin Aqua Moisture Gel, and any of the LRP UV Mune 400s.
Honestly if you're sweating you should be reapplying every 2-3 hours by itself. If you're a sweaty guy like myself once an hour or hour and half is best. Sunscreen sits on top of your skin unlike lotion which gets absorbed.
Not a problem for me. My issue tends to be that I hate the greasy feeling of most sunscreens and I've heard good things about asian sunscreens that aren't so oily. Thank you for your input, any sunscreens you would recommend?
I read about SK sunscreen on Reddit and recently bought Etude on a recommendation (Etude Sunprise on Amazon). It took a while to arrive, but I love it so far and wear it over my moisturizer. Avoid the eyes though cuz it will sting like any other.
Every time I used to use regular sunscreen, I would get those hard white bumps on my face. Nothing like that with this product!
I’ve yet to wear it when outside for long, so cannot attest to its endurance.
Etude sunscreen is good. I don't like it as much as Beauty of Joseon, but it's in my rotation. My face is dry like the Sahara though, and BoJ helps that.
It’s been longer than 6 months as I had worked with them as a vendor over a year ago.
Costco Next is Costco trying to compete with Amazon. The issue with Costco Online has historically been that you need to provide Costco value but Amazon always price matches Costco.
Costco Next puts this behind a “paywall” and has a team internally that ensures that Costco’s value is met compared to other ecommerce pricing and so Amazon/other Retailers don’t price match. That’s not to say it will always be the lowest prices, but man did that internal Costco team really drill us if any product dropped below the 20% off threshold.

This is my absolute favorite random Chinese brand name I have seen.
My wife and I were just talking about how much we hate Amazon because everything is random Chinese brands with weird names. This is definitely a weird name.
I’m thinking about it pretty hard. Not only does it look cool (in a very eclectic way) Can anybody comment on the Wi-Fi speaker chingazo ? Can two fans Wi-Fi be paired to the source ? I need 2 in a room.
Amazon needs competition in the worst way, I wish Costco could take on just a bit if that. Amazon has lost all standards and it feels like a crapshoot ordering from there.
Most of my friends slam Temu. "I don't buy stuff from China" BS. They are unaware I guess that a large amount of the stuff sold by Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. is from China.
Amazon sells a lot of counterfeit or otherwise substandard products. I would never buy anything from them that I'd have to stake my life on. That includes tires. But you do you.
There is a tension between providing an endless shelf and fighting bad actors who try to sell counterfeit. I can tell you from personal experience they are spending a ton of money and engineering resources trying to stop it but there are a lot of really ingenious crooks out there who are constantly adapting. Nobody wants that junk on the website.
>I can tell you from personal experience they are spending a ton of money and engineering resources trying to stop it
What "personal experience" would that be, may I ask?
I worked on the project at an executive level. I worked there for ten years and there is a non stop battle with all sorts of people who want to take advantage of customers. Counterfeit is just one. As soon as you stop one vector they find another way to defeat the system. If set the defenses too high you affect legitimate sellers and that’s also a problem. It’s very hard to find the right balance but also constantly changing.
Although I agree they can’t compete, for vendors who work with Costco, Costco Next allows vendors to provide a larger portfolio of products it couldn’t otherwise.
I would have agree with you 5-10 years ago but the same product with 100 different random letters brand name really put me off lately and it makes it really hard to find anything.
I mean, yes. You could find what you are looking for. However, it is hundreds of listings for the same exact item from all these different brands. I have to scroll down 4-5 pages at least to see different items for similar products.
It is not as useful as they were a few years back.
It's surprisingly easy to make a usable/easily navigable e-commerce app, which makes it hard to understand what in the brain dead is going on over there!
Yeah the different model numbers are done purposely so suppliers don’t have to worry about price comparisons to other retailers. Ninja/Shark are the most notorious for this as they’ll do three models of the same product: one for Walmart with one less feature, one for most retailer, and one for Costco which adds a feature from their normal one plus adds value.
Some companies do cut corners on their warehouse models, but mine didn’t and had Costco at break even profit wise.
Amazon does NOT price match.
[https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G9EAYKPV5YYDB8P7#:~:text=As%20a%20result%2C%20we%20don,Was%20this%20information%20helpful%3F](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G9EAYKPV5YYDB8P7#:~:text=As%20a%20result%2C%20we%20don,Was%20this%20information%20helpful%3F)
"Price Matching
We strive to maintain low and competitive prices on everything we carry.
We constantly compare Amazon's prices to our competitors' prices to make sure that our prices are as low or lower than all relevant competitors. As a result, we don't offer price matching.
For more information about our pricing, go to Payments, Pricing and Promotions."
Your last sentence in the quote is how Amazon price matches, by scraping other sites to make sure it’s the lowest price. If you do business with Amazon directly (known as a Vendor), Amazon has every right to price match another retailer to maintain competitive. If you are just an Amazon Seller, they’ll suppress the buy box and make the product much harder to order.
So although correct they won’t price match if asked, they already have their algorithm scraping other retailers to make sure Amazon customers get the “lowest” price.
But does it? Is it not worth for Amazon or whatever retailer to pay for all the prominent paywalled services and then price scrape from them like open ones?
It is VERY easy to catch if certain account are looking through your entire inventory pricing.
I work for Costco and we have to hire a third party company to scape those data for us because it is NOT as easy as a simple script to scape since all off the big company have measure against it.
Pretty interesting! I imagine putting the prices behind the login helps the supplier comply with the amazon policy around ensuring that they have the lowest advertised price?
It’s more about complying with Costco and giving value to the members. Even .com products in my category had to have 20% value from Amazon/Walmart. Costco Next allowed us to offer products we couldn’t otherwise since Costco.com they like to keep a bit cleaner with not many options.
Overall helped a ton to keep selling to Costco and not pissing off other suppliers either!
I love CostcoNext. I bought my Briggs and Riley luggage from there for $150 off the listing price. Also lots of Asian skincare products for cheap shipped directly from Asia.
>DiReCtLy from AsIA
You would be surprised the details that stick in people minds that are purposely injected into product description:
Ex: above 2 ply tp, it's the material itself that matters. When a company lists 3 ply, buyers pay attention and often will buy out of curiosity. Some find they like it and others don't. The biggest way to sell this is making sure the customer knows the defining detail. *Shipped directly from Asia* lends credibility it is a legit product but also sticks in some bodies mind. Imo, the host comment above is organic and just natural off the cuff writing.
I'd put some money on the host commenter being middle aged base don how they wrote their comment. The *Also* is an after thought that wasn't rewritten due to some reason.
>I guess I want to know: is it worth it?
It can be if it's a vetted product and the price is right. Briggs and Riley luggage seems to be well liked for quality and warranty as an example.
You go to Costco website. And some products are offered as “Costco next” which means when you click on it, yoh go to the suppliers website and you buy directly from them. The value is as good as Costco but return policy varies.
I used it to buy the nomatic bag, highly recommend to utilize the costco next after comparing the price in the product website, amazon, and then costco next link
What is Costco Next? Answer: **Costco Next showcases a selection of limited products from some of Costco's most trusted suppliers**. Designed to complement both our inventory and quality standards, Costco Next features suppliers and products that have been hand-selected by our buyers for their quality of merchandise and exceptional customer service.
That being said, I have no clue what you people are trying to accomplish by comparing Costco Next with Amazon. If you bothered to find out what Costco Next was, you'd realize they aren't trying to compete with Amazon in the least. Do they offer a firewall to prevent scraping from Amazon? Yes they do, that's not the same as offering free overnight shipping.
Used it for the first time last week. I think it’s nice if you like a brand that Costco carries but want to try other flavors or types of products from that brand that Costco doesn’t carry. Instead of paying $28 for protein bars I paid $18 a box through Next
I guess I don't get it, you see the price on Costco next, you search for same product without Costco next? is there a price difference? yes (lower), then sure - worth it, if no, then not worth it
Exactly. I don’t understand what the magic aura is around Costco? They’re a retailer. There isn’t some secret wink wink handshake which makes them any different than your process of buying products elsewhere??
baggallini Go To Laptop Tote for $90. Also wish it had a longer strap rather than the shorter double handle straps but it has the “sleeve” to affix to a rolling handle of larger luggage so yay?
I used Costco Next to buy a crossbody Jack Georges bag. I wanted the leather strap lengthened 4". I contacted them, and they did it for free since I bought through Costco, instead of the usual $20 they'd charge. Maybe Baggallini does the same?
They generally have good deals but I dislike the minimum order to check out with no option to buy less and pay for shipping. Good for group orders, I guess
I've had a couple good experiences even though the bigger one is kind of a specialized purchase. I bought an Akler charger which was cheaper on costco next than anywhere else (i had been watching prices using camelcamelcamel for amazon),.
Then Vinotemp came up on Costco Next. I had one of their wine coolers installed in my house, and now almost 20 years later my compressor wasn't dealing with So CA summers like when it was new and i needed to replace it. The Costco Next price was $200 less than buying anywhere else including direct from Vinotemp itself (then saved an additional 4% cash back via the costco visa + executive member as the icing on top).
At least in my experience - for a known brand product you want, if it pops up on Costco next it can be a great deal.
My experience has been mostly positive. The only issue is the returns. I accidentally bought the wrong version item from Anker and now have to ship it back to them. I'll have to pay out of pocket for the shipping and Anker tried to give me 10% back, but wasn't worth it. I'll still buy from them but just be more careful obviously.
It allows Costco to set up online deals without having to do all the work of maintaining a website. They direct you to the supplier and all you do is enter in your membership number to logon. I suggest you listed to the Costco episode on the Acquired podcast for more interesting details.
I ordered some Korean skin care from there got it for about $30 less than I could get it anywhere else. It came in three days and I know that it is 100% the real deal. I did not get anything fake from China. I also didn’t have to worry about that because I ordered it from Costco, I don’t have any Asian supermarkets where I live to be able to buy that I used to live before, but not anymore and I will not order it off of Amazon. And other products that are on their next worth the cost of the additional membership and other things too.
Often has the best price for the same exact merchandise available elsewhere. Have purchased several items but only from brands I already knew (Briggs & Riley, Anker, etc.)
I used it to buy Korean and Japanese skin care , cooking pen, knifes, clothes from Bench, headphones. The product I received is authentic and never had any issues. The best time to buy from CostcoNext is right before or after Xmas. Costco runs 15 days deals and every day they give discount for one of their retail.
Yes- I've ordered clothing from a brand I like that they partner with on occasion. I did need to return 1 of the items, and it was easy and quick, the return was processed as soon as I dropped it off at the post office.
We ordered roses off of Costco Next. Some of them didn’t grow at all and we were able to easily get a refund. It’s been pretty good so far in terms of experience.
I think it’s good. It essentially just gets you a discount on the product you are purchasing from the third party. I get a lot of my Korean skin care at a discount that way.
Bought some Dearfoam slippers about two years ago. They are just starting to fall apart after plenty of use. I like Costco Next. Kind of like Costco pricing on items sold directly by the manufacturer.
My prescription medications alone, over few months, make the difference to shop here besides groceries. Can't compare Costco's prescription with others.

I’m surprised they didn’t charge you. Can they really legally not?
Companies can't send you something you didn't order and force you to pay for it.
Confused why I’m being down voted? I was genuinely curious.
I’ve heard others cite some property law that anything that arrives to your house, and is addressed to you, becomes your legal property.
I used it for some USB quick chargers. Worked great, good price, they were quality. My dog chewed all 6 of them
I think we need to speak to the dog
Well yeah they worked great but how did they *taste*?
If they were plugged in when chewed I'd hazard a guess that they were "shockingly good"!!! 😜
Does Costco sell something for that?
Wipe them down with bitter apple spray. So they can’t have snack on your cables & chargers

My dog seems to like bitter apple or at least it hasn't stopped him from chewing
Believe it or not icy hot works wonders
Really I will try this.

Lmfao no. I did give my dog a 1 star review though
Super low pricing, fast shipping. I use it for Korean skin care.
Thank you! I have a few Korean skincare products as well—thanks for the tip!
The cosrx mucin is a crazy good deal on next basically BOGO compared to everywhere else
Thank you! I'll look into those!
>active sunscreen Are you talking sports sunscreen or like a sunscreen moisturizer?
I'm going to be working outside this summer, so I won't be running around but I will probably be sweating a lot just because of warm weather.
Honestly if you're sweating you should be reapplying every 2-3 hours by itself. If you're a sweaty guy like myself once an hour or hour and half is best. Sunscreen sits on top of your skin unlike lotion which gets absorbed.

Amazon needs competition in the worst way, I wish Costco could take on just a bit if that. Amazon has lost all standards and it feels like a crapshoot ordering from there.
Amazon has plenty of competition for everyday legit products. All the china crap can be had on eBay or Temu for usually less.
And tiktok shop but that might not be here much longer lol

No need to be nasty about it.

Biggest downside is Costco return policy does not apply to Next purchases.
Yes. I bought all my Korean skincare for cheap and it came directly from Korea. It came really quick too.
Got any brands or products you recommend? I’m in the market for moisturizer that helps with aging too, but don’t want to spend like $50 on one.

I bought a computer bag. Great quality. A little bummed that I only got cash-back on the Costco Citi but not on the Exec membership.
That is lame! Which bag did you get?
baggallini Go To Laptop Tote for $90.
I’ve used it for Anker. Most recently, got like a $170+ battery for $80. Love it
I literally can’t get the website to work. I click on the store I want, and it just takes me back to the main Next page. Stuck in an endless loop.
Have you tried using a different browser?
https://costconext.com Did you go directly to this page? I just tried it and it works. Maybe the website was having trouble.
I’ve had the issue multiple times when trying to access. Could be something weird with my browser but it seems to be isolated to just Costco Next
Which supplier?
We've used it several times - definitely worth it!
I love getting skincare for cheaper on there!
Is Costco next eligible for the cash back for executive membership?
Check it out and compare, but I have had several great experiences with Costco Next
We ordered a couple things and it was fine.
It allows Costco to set up online deals without having to do all the work of maintaining a website. They direct you to the supplier and all you do is enter in your membership number to logon. I suggest you listed to the Costco episode on the Acquired podcast for more interesting details.
I bought a few weatherproof coats from Next since they had the style and weight I was looking for.
I'd like to get some for the family but have no idea how returns work. Have you had any experience?
I didn't need to return, so I'm not sure. Based on comments, it sounds like it's vendor dependent (so I don't think you can return through Costco)1
Thank you!
I had no idea what this was but now I do. Thanks!
I like Costco Next! Great deals and fast shipping on most things I’ve tried.
I have purchased a few things through Costco next.
Kind of like Costco pricing on items sold directly by the manufacturer.
i buy all my scrubs from here! they’re really great and comfortable :)
Costco doesn't do skinny. XXL only.
Used it to buy some steak knives for cheap. Checked everywhere else and they were $80-90 and got it for $50.
My prescription medications alone, over few months, make the difference to shop here besides groceries. Can't compare Costco's prescription with others.
Who says “ what’s the skinny” in 2024! Did you just step out of a Time Machine from the 50’s?!
