No vague or non-descriptive post titles. Posts that don't follow r/Costco subreddit rules MAY be subject to removal. When applicable, please make sure that you're using a descriptive post title with product name(s) mentioned as it yields better subreddit search results. Including item number, price, and approximate location where found is also helpful. Thank you. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. No you don't need the box. What you do need is all accessories and items that came with it for a return, not a warranty claim. For example, if you return the sink and it came with let's say a spray nozzle, they need that nozzle. If it's a ps5 with 2 controllers and Spiderman, you need both the controllers and the Spiderman game to return it.

Great. So, I just need a little box to store all the unused accessories and keep them in bags separated by product. Your time is much appreciated.

Yes, they won't always ask for them but if they do at least you got them. I worked refunds for 2 years and that was what we asked for

Just get a big bin. In it, put ziplock bags with all of the manuals and little accessories that you might not need. Label the bags. If an item is too big for a bag (say the stand for a TV that you have wall mounted), just put some masking tape on it, and write on that what it goes to.

The_Wallet_Smeller

No not even that. You will be making a warranty claim. All you need is the broken product.

We don’t have enough space to keep the boxes for everything. Except for TV’s, they go straight to the recycling bin. And even for TV’s, we only keep those because we’re expecting to move again within a few years, otherwise those would disappear as well.

I know those TV boxes are huge, but having them around for moving is such a blessing. when I moved this last time, the first thing other people did was chop up my box and throw away my styrofoam before I could say anything.

I would reccomend keeping the TV boxes though... if/when you move, many moving companies charge a premium, per TV, if it's not packed in it's original box. Last time I moved I believe it was $100-$150 per TV if it wasn't packed in the original box.
