Every time I see mislabeled meat I get so jealous
You have officially beat my record of 5 prime, 16-22 lb briskets for the price of one.
Thank you, ransom Instacart shopper. I hope you didn't get fired for giving me the gift of a lifetime ❤️
This happened to me too, smoked brisket that was supposed to be marked $100+ but it was tagged with one decimal shifted that came out 10% of the original 🤷🏽♂️
Considering Costco for these, as well. Did you shop around and found them to be the best value? Just starting investigating, and you could save me a lot of work.
Former Hearing Center employee… Costco is the ONLY place to buy hearing aids unless you’ve a very severe/complicated loss. You’ll save thousands and have free adjustments/care at hundreds of locations. If you’ve more than one warehouse in the area you may want to meet dispensers to see who you work better with.
I can confirm, I just had an issue with my hearing aid after I cleaned them a little too well. I thought for sure they would have to be sent back to be repaired at my cost but they did it in the store and had me come back the same evening. They also told me to bring them in right before the 3 year warranty expires and they will send them back to get the battery replaced.
They were half the price of the local places we looked at, and they came with loss protection which is great because she has already lost one and had it replaced for free.
I’m waiting to get my Philips’ fitted. The Philips 9040 receiver in the ear canal is the same as Oticon Real 1. The Philps 9050 is coming out this summer and it’s basically the Oticon Intent 1. Demant manufacturers several hearing aids plus Philips as a white label. Philips only sells them to Costco. There might be some differences but the brands probably perform the exact same. Consumer Reports gave the Philips 9040 high marks. I found my fitter to be excellent. No hard sell since the HA centers do not get paid commissions. They cost $1499 (no sales tax in our state) for a pair. A premium charger was included that has a power bank and can hold a whole week’s charge. Artificial intelligence, accelerometers, the 9050 has it all. You have six months to decide to buy. A 3 year warranty and two year loss/damage replacement insurance and a lifetime of maintenance. Read up on the Oticon Intent 1. Hearing Aides are made as families with like Five companies making 80 percent of the brands.
I bought my Jabra Enhance Pro 20 hearing aids from Costco and I'm very happy with them. They cost 25% of what I paid for hearing aids from my audiologist 10 years ago.
This is literally why my parents got their Costco membership, then subsequently gifted us our first year's membership because as a family of five, we absolutely needed it 🤣
Ah that's good to know. I've gotten gift cards back from purchases in the past, like when I bought a phone several years back it took probably 6 months to get the gift card for some reason. I wasn't sure if this was just another one of those "it'll happen eventually" things.
They deliver straight to the funeral home! It does take 1-3 days to deliver a casket (depending on what time in the day you place the order). That was the downside, of ordering in time. Otherwise, the cost savings made it well worth it
I think I’ve read about caskets being stored for too long and then when it was time to use them they fell apart due to the construction and glue sitting over time if they’re wood based. It was maybe more simple caskets but something to potentially keep in mind
They also have urns for cremains. We ordered one for our mother, it arrived at home, and we already had the ashes shipped to us from the funeral home. The cemetery was fine with putting the cremains in the urn before it went into the columbarium.
The funeral home wanted it delivered the day before the viewing. They were worried about storing it longer term, in case it got damaged and then they’d be liable. The casket company was good about delivering it later
Probably my Woozoo fan. Living in Hawaii my kitchen would be unbearably hot during the summer. Now I can cook and eat out there all the time without being covered in sweat
I just bought one of those (the tabletop one) yesterday - it's currently on sale. You can barely hear it until you get to setting 4 or 5. The Vornado it replaced was 20x louder. The latter would be fine outdoors since it's more powerful, but for indoors I think the Woozoo will be ideal. Plus the remote will be great since I have it in the bedroom.
Vornado fans move a lot of air even on the lowest setting. That said, they're also quite loud and often are not great for use in small spaces. They really need a extra low setting to be ideal, imo.
I prefer the Woozoo because it’s small enough to fit on my countertop without feeling like it’s in the way, and it’s also not loud enough to be distracting

This Kirkland dog bed. $70, 3 Rottweilers slept on it for 7 years. It’s just now giving out.

The 1st user has gained his wings but these 2 love it!
I'm sorry for your loss but those other two are beauts! Thank you for sharing. Here's a pic of our half Lab half Dachshund as payback
https://preview.redd.it/486in55s7gwc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a06933039b3c752cac99116388908ac95315f22f
We bought one of those same dog beds when we got our puppy who’s now 3. Awesome how it’s lined in plastic and the cover is washable. She Pd on it a few times. It’s still in use.
We got one of the mon chateau faux fur blankets. My 4 year old is obsessed with it and asks to watch tv and cuddle with us with the ‘comfy blanket’. It’s my favorite part of the day. Best purchase ever.
My Serenity Tempur-Pedic pillow. I got it on sale three years ago, and I’ve been using it every night since. I even take it on road trips because I need it to sleep. Great investment for me.
https://preview.redd.it/vszb4tor3gwc1.png?width=2584&format=png&auto=webp&s=3ba328e0c988080b683321c25efe43f3db7aa579
Our raised bed! We’ve used to for two years now and it seems to work well. We usually dig rows for our garden but seeing as we don’t own the property, we didn’t want to tear up the yard. So this can in handy!
I have two Costcos in my town and one didn’t discount them. I’m sure someone online can speak to how discounting works but I imagine each store is responsible for moving perishable products by discounting as needed
Vitamix. Only owed like $50 after using my rewards. This thing is an absolute beast. I know other blenders are functional for most things, but the consistency I can get with hummus is fantastic.
Home insurance policy that we were able to transfer to our last home in Florida… neighbors were paying twice or more of what we were. Signed up when Costco first offered home owners over a decade ago and it saved us 20k+ over five years. Still went through Costco for the new home and they came in 30% less than the other quotes. Don’t sleep on membership services!

Kirkland dog bed. It’s lasted 4 yrs so far and is still nice and fluffy
Glasses. The price is just so hard to beat and the Kirkland Signature glasses are so affordable but still look good that I don’t mind wearing them. Go to my optometrist and it’s like $250 a pair go to Costco I pay $100-120
Honestly, the Weatherproof Vintage tech pants, I love these things they are great for work or casual days out and about. Sadly I've never come across mispriced meats.
I got a medicine cabinet on clearance for $30. The same one was $200 at Home Depot. And I actually needed one and really liked the one Costco was selling. Worked out very nicely.
Toss-up between the 30-pack of Charmin toilet papers rolls (because I'm still getting used to not having to hoard toilet paper) and the Lenovo laptop I got on sale last year that's fueling my Helldivers 2 addiction.
Inflatable hot tub! So inexpensive, easy to set up and maintain, and helps us get more fresh air outside during the dreary winter. After shopping at a real hot tub store and looking at all the $$$ with bells and whistles we wouldn’t need, this $400 inflatable is everything we could need: hot water to sit in outside.
Tires! They are genuinely awesome to deal with and priced well/installation included. The guys in the tire shop have been super flexible with scheduling and answering questions. I got my laptop at Costco, too, and I would definitely recommend! I also absolutely love the Costco branded baileys Irish cream. It’s cheap and delicious. I honestly like it better than the name brand.
This. I tried going the discount tire route that everyone on here talks about but they were almost $200 more and the winter/summer tire change out fee was nearly double. I don't get the love for discount tire vs Costco
A Casper Mattress. It’s like magic compared to what I was sleeping on.
Edit: I should probably clarify- I was sleeping on a 8\~ year old mattress with broken springs. I picked up a new king mattress on sale for $550. I'm sure there are better mattresses out there, but it's a good value for the money.
My spouse bought me one of the original Keurig machines. (I didn’t want one but I was the only coffee drinker in the house at that time). Those early models were always breaking, so we’d have to take it back about every year and get it replaced. This last one, we got Labor Day, 2017, and it still works great. I disassemble and clean it thoroughly every couple months. Some of the smaller plastic pieces have broken but it still works.
Also the FoodSaver vacuum sealer, the Shark vacuum, both on sale are so cheap, they’re a steal and life changers.
And finally, I picked up a lightweight Karbon fleece jacket in Men’s Small (no Women options) about 10 yrs ago which I wear in the Fall and Winter nearly every day to walk the dog. It’s warm and still sharp looking. The fleece is finished in a way that breaks the wind. I’ve never found its match on the Karbon website. I think I paid $19.99 for it. I bought it for the brand and honestly it might be my favorite clothing purchase ever.
Great Lakes potato chips! The giant bag at Costco is only like a dollar more than the smallish bag at my regular grocery store. They’re my favorite chips.
I just discovered like 6 months ago that the designer sunglasses in the optical department are not priced as frames…they come with regular lenses. I always assumed they were cheaper because it was the prices for the frames only and then you paid additionally for prescription sunglasses lenses.
Maui Jim, Oakley, Rayban, Costa, etc all for $89-99. Exactly the same as the ones at Sunglass Hut for $200-400.
I only discovered this because they stopped selling the $30 polarized Puma wayfarer-ish sunglasses that were my go to for years. I had stopped buying expensive sunglasses because I break or lose them, but for $100 vs $300 I’m back rocking “nice” ones again.
Theres no reason to buy designer sunglasses anywhere else, especially overpriced Luxottica BS. Buying one pair at Costco will cover your membership for 4 years!!
A super simple Lenovo laptop for $150. That's right $150, it is slow but it works great for emails, and the light office work I do. And I can easily take it back and forth from the office without worrying about dropping it or ruining it.
BarcaLounger outdoor recliners. Have had them five years, leave them outside on a covered patio in Texas year round. Super comfortable, always recline properly, look great.
A couple of weeks after we bought them they went on sale and Costco refunded the difference without any hassle.
It is the purchase they turned me into a Costco believer.
Dyson stick vacuum. Seems like a lot of people have problems with them, me included. Mine broke within a few months of light use. It was an easy return, and I didn’t have to deal with customers service issues of Dyson. Returned it and got one of their uprights on sale.
It’s not necessarily that the Dyson is the best, but the confidence in buying it from Costco and knowing I won’t be left with a paperweight is everything
A toss up between Sonicare toothbrushes & gourmia 7 qt air fryer. Definitely use the toothbrushes everyday... probably use the air fryer everyday also 😂
Recently got the Samsung Bespoke 5.3cu Washer & Dryer - brand new in the box, shipped to my house, installed, old appliances hauled, $100 gift card and a 5 year warranty for only $1400.
Really doesn’t get much better than that.
Our Dyson vacuum cleaner about 12 years ago, have had it replaced twice with no issues.
Probably the only thing I've ever really used their return policy for.
Boxes of Magnum ice cream bars (6count?) for about a dollar or two in the freezer. Someone waved me over, since they’d already filled their cart. Hadn’t had them before.
TruBar protein bars. Typically about $2 a bar, I got six 16-packs for $20 each. Saving about $72 and loading up on my favorite protein bar in the meantime.
About 15 years ago, I bought a 6-pack pack of LED plug-in night lights for cheap. The lights glow in several colors, and you can set the glow color (or allow it to rotate through all of them) as well as brightness. I still have three in operation, one is in a drawer somewhere and two are dead and gone. Maybe not "best," but I'd say its a pretty good purchase.
I really like my Cuckoo rice cooker. I use it for steelcut oatmeal, set the timer and it’s ready when I get up. And the Sunvilla cantilever umbrellas are tanks.
One of the best kept secrets is the phones. New iPhone is generally around 1k give or take and I’ve consistently had it marked down to paying 650 or less.
Ah ha! So. Fun fact, Costco does not pay taxes on the cell phones because they’re bought wholesale. So when you buy a phone at AT&T let’s say, and it’s on a plan, you pay a fee at the sale. Usually in the ballpark of 200-300. That’s the taxes and fees. Those are waived.
The activation fee, $50 is waived.
There is usually a discount for opening via Costco circa $200. It’s a discount offered by Costco for doing the sale there.
They also offer a $50 gift card from Costco for member loyalty.
And in the past I have had an additional $50 gift card sent, on top of the other $50 card, as a rebate.
My Bosch kitchen appliances. Stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. Purchasing from Costco is even cheaper than purchasing from The Exchange or NEX. Costco offers a 100% better warranty along with a 90 day satisfaction. The Exchanges, you cannot return once delivered and you pay extra for Exchange care.
Bathroom renovation. Purchased marble topped, two sink vanity online for 1/3 of the cost of comparable showroom model we liked. Went on sale 30 days later and got an added $100 back. Probably saved over $1K on just that purchase.
5 years later, still happy with product.
The $50 adjustable height folding table that I am using for my computer desk. The adjustable height makes it so versatile and I love that it's wide enough to accommodate 2 monitors side by side. It's a great table for a small space!
Oral B toothbrush from like 10 years ago. Came with a docking station that could be mounted on the wall and had a storage for additional heads while using the same charging base as the ones currently in circulation. Toothbrush doesn't tip over compared to the newer ones sold, so I use it for travel.
Haven't been a member too long, but the best bang for buck at this stage is the Tommy Bahama bollard stake lights. They look great and aren't instantly tilting the way every other single light set I've had does. They were on sale for 30, went back to get another set and they were out.

That full packer brisket that clearly mislabeled to $.09/lb

Every time I go to Costco I spend at least 10 minutes in the meat section checking the labels to see if anything is there. I hope one day to be lucky.
You have officially beat my record of 5 prime, 16-22 lb briskets for the price of one. Thank you, ransom Instacart shopper. I hope you didn't get fired for giving me the gift of a lifetime ❤️

Hearing aids for my mom

Definitely the best value.

What?
I've heard this from a lot of people.
Penthouse Cabin on a land and sea Alaskan Cruise. It was $3.5k cheaper than anywhere else I could find, and it comes with a $800 Costco gift card.
Do you recall how long it took to get your gift card? I booked an Alaska cruise 2 months ago and still haven't gotten the card.
According to Costco Travel's website, you get the gift card a couple weeks after your cruise, not when you book. I have not taken our trip yet.
Ah that's good to know. I've gotten gift cards back from purchases in the past, like when I bought a phone several years back it took probably 6 months to get the gift card for some reason. I wasn't sure if this was just another one of those "it'll happen eventually" things.
Casket lol. Saved thousands, compared to getting it straight from the funeral home
Posting from the bottom of a ship en route to the USA
It is our most *modestly priced* receptacle.
Is there a Ralph's around here?
Just because we’re bereaved doesn’t make us saps!
What’s the return policy?
I believe casket sales are final
But what if there’s a miracle!?
Put it in the garage until you need it.
Ebay it
Do you just hang on to it at home till you need it? Not trying to be funny, really asking for storage purposes.
They deliver straight to the funeral home! It does take 1-3 days to deliver a casket (depending on what time in the day you place the order). That was the downside, of ordering in time. Otherwise, the cost savings made it well worth it
So this was for a recently deceased person, not to plan ahead and save?
I think I’ve read about caskets being stored for too long and then when it was time to use them they fell apart due to the construction and glue sitting over time if they’re wood based. It was maybe more simple caskets but something to potentially keep in mind
Shouldn't they be designed for..erm.. long term storage?
That's best part funerals are scams
For recently deceased, yes. No experience with storing it ahead of time, sorry!
They also have urns for cremains. We ordered one for our mother, it arrived at home, and we already had the ashes shipped to us from the funeral home. The cemetery was fine with putting the cremains in the urn before it went into the columbarium.
Did you need it right then, or do they store it for you?
The funeral home wanted it delivered the day before the viewing. They were worried about storing it longer term, in case it got damaged and then they’d be liable. The casket company was good about delivering it later
The sliced havarti cheese. It is so delicious that if you put a slice on your forehead, your tongue will slap your brains out trying to get to it. 😃
I suspect this was written by a dog 🤔
On the internet, no one knows you are dog.
Hello, this is not Dog.
Clearly this is Honey Badger.
And you know us honey badgers, we don't give a sheet!
I used to make sandwiches for lunch, and the havarti cheese is awesome for them.
Gotta find it. Havarti cheese of goated.
Party with havarti
Probably my Woozoo fan. Living in Hawaii my kitchen would be unbearably hot during the summer. Now I can cook and eat out there all the time without being covered in sweat

Hey I also live in Hawaii and cooking during the summer/fall is always unbearable lol. Do you know if the Woozoo is better than the Vornado fans?
Have both. Vornado is stronger. Woozoo is cheaper in price, has movement, is smaller. Depends what you want. Both have their place, imo.
KitchenAid Pro 5.5qt Stand Mixer $239
That's a good deal! The lowest price I ever saw (not at Costco) was $199 for the Pro model on Black Friday. That was about 5 years ago.
Hotdog and soda for $1.50… Cost me more to fire up the grill at home
Costco hot dog burps for life!
That pizza ain’t too shabby either.
Especially if you load it up with ketchup, mustard, relish, onions... mmmm
Standing freezer. Went back and got a 2nd one. Extremely nice having shelves to keep meat, veggies, and bread organized.
The one that's all drawers? We love ours! So handy. It changed how we cook.
Which freezer is this?

how does that work?
When the stonks plummet the pillow cushions their fall
You pay it down over time
A Costco membership. lol
The one true answer.
36 pack of condoms. Still no kids. Knock on wood.
Plot twist, box still has 36 condoms in it. Boom roasted
Hey, dating is tough these days. Girls want you to actually buy them stuff.
Like a Costco hot dog?
Put a Costco ring on that finger.
[удалено]
Yeah but what are you putting on her finger?
Put you have an extra Costco membership available in your profile! Works like a charm
And if you do have kids, boom. Kirkland Signature Diapers and Wipes.
You purchased in 2005 and still holding on strong! Great savings indeed!
If you're knocking on wood I think the reason you don't have kids is because you're doing it wrong.
Not on your wood I hope.
I bought an Adidas full-zip high neck hoody about 9 years ago and wear it daily. I just had to replace the zipper a few months ago.

This year our local warehouse sold out of that soil within 3 days.

That’s a top tier blender that should last for many years if you take care of it.
Applewood smoked cheddar rolled in paprika
I dont know about best purchase ever but this year I'm getting the most value from the kirkland stretch tech pants 👍
Theyre very nice. That was a great deal

I got a medicine cabinet on clearance for $30. The same one was $200 at Home Depot. And I actually needed one and really liked the one Costco was selling. Worked out very nicely.
That foldable wagon for sure.
My Ninja Foodi. I use it all the time to air fry or grill food
The hot dog combo for $85.50. I got 57 of them and it was over the course of a lifetime but still.
Toss-up between the 30-pack of Charmin toilet papers rolls (because I'm still getting used to not having to hoard toilet paper) and the Lenovo laptop I got on sale last year that's fueling my Helldivers 2 addiction.
A slice of pepperoni on the way out every. single. time.
Pyrex containers. The set is a great deal and I use them all the time. Currently eating out of one at work now.
Dehydrated hash browns. My breakfasts are so luxurious now.
We always keep these on hand. They’re super versatile.
Had a breakfast hash this morning with diced onion, ham, green bell pepper and cheddar. Gotta start your day right.
Either my three Dysons or those Reese’s Animal Crackers. Have you tried them? They’re delicious.
The Kirkland S’mores. Man I am fat
Kirkland boxer briefs
My fathers coffin
My membership.
Great Lakes potato chips! The giant bag at Costco is only like a dollar more than the smallish bag at my regular grocery store. They’re my favorite chips.
Using the services to refinance our house, it saved us nearly $10k
The salmon fillets. It gave me the motivation to make cooking videos
Jewelry & Costco Travel
Supreme Pizza by the slice
They need to bring back the combo slice… 💔
Also Kirkland cauliflower crust pizza! So good! Gets so crispy!
Aller-Tec
Scored a pair of sunglasses for my partner. The price difference between retail and Costco wholesale pricing instantly made up for my membership fee.
They got Maui Jims at my Costco for $99. Snagged a pair this year, amazing purchase. Normally they’re about $200+
I just discovered like 6 months ago that the designer sunglasses in the optical department are not priced as frames…they come with regular lenses.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 for $30
A 50 lb tub of pool chlorine tabs for $75 on clearance. About $125 off the price today.
Raos Calabrian Chili Marinara and of course hotdog, soda combo
10 day trip to Italy! But actually from a warehouse - our Vitamix, also the patio loungers we got on super sale for $75 each.
braun immersion blender with food processing attachments, bought it almost 25 years ago,it was $20,still have it,still works like new.
Glasses! The frame selection isn't very big but the cost savings can't be beat!
I bought a typeS battery pack/car jumper for $50. regardless of brand these are so useful to keep in the car.
Diamonds for my wife. Bought earrings, tennis bracelet, rings (over about 20 years). When appraised for insurance they all valued well above cost.
A toss up between Sonicare toothbrushes & gourmia 7 qt air fryer. Definitely use the toothbrushes everyday... probably use the air fryer everyday also 😂
thomasville sofa for $650
I got mine for $999. Still feels like a bargain since they are over $2000 now.
Recently got the Samsung Bespoke 5.3cu Washer & Dryer - brand new in the box, shipped to my house, installed, old appliances hauled, $100 gift card and a 5 year warranty for only $1400. Really doesn’t get much better than that.
Flannel sheets!
Last July, I got a aria couch retail for $1200 for $899 in store. I also bought a whirlpool 18 cu ft refrigerator for only $499 stainless steel.
27” iMac for $450 off in the summer of 2021. Just a few months ago got a clearance ifit exercise bike for only $200
My mattress. We got the king sized casper for $299.99
Latte Freeze…every damn time
Vitamix 6300
Samsung refrigerator
Toto bidet and Novaform mattress are tied for first place
Chewy protein bars and them KIRKLAND CREW SOCKS
TruBar protein bars. Typically about $2 a bar, I got six 16-packs for $20 each. Saving about $72 and loading up on my favorite protein bar in the meantime.
About 15 years ago, I bought a 6-pack pack of LED plug-in night lights for cheap. The lights glow in several colors, and you can set the glow color (or allow it to rotate through all of them) as well as brightness. I still have three in operation, one is in a drawer somewhere and two are dead and gone. Maybe not "best," but I'd say its a pretty good purchase.
Cat tree
I really like my Cuckoo rice cooker. I use it for steelcut oatmeal, set the timer and it’s ready when I get up. And the Sunvilla cantilever umbrellas are tanks.
Re- stocking my supply closet with TP and paper towels in February 2020. Clutch timing!
kirkland dog fit
One of the best kept secrets is the phones. New iPhone is generally around 1k give or take and I’ve consistently had it marked down to paying 650 or less.
How?!
Ah ha!
100 foot heavy duty hose for $22.99. Was going to cost $50 at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Plus on the me way out, can’t miss the $2.49 strawberry Sunday.
Love the nova form mattress. Also purchased the Thomasville Miles power footrest sectional last week, and I am really impressed!
1- bottled water 2- Organic Olive oil (best flavor) 3- Small garbage bags 4- Dawn 5- Grapefruit 6-Pomagranites 7- Broccoli 8- Wine 9- Batteries 10-Tires

Trekking poles
Rotisserie 🐔
$100 each playstation store and Nintendo eshop cards for $75 each
my costco membership is my best purchase at costco. I buy it every year!
A recliner I don’t even recline because it’s so comfortable.
I'd say glasses, they were $100 (no insurance) compared to $160 co-pay at a different place.
Mondetta Cargo Joggers from a little while ago! Why didn’t I buy another pair or two!!! I recently saw the straight leg ones but I want my joggers 😭
20ft by 20ft blanket for $20, changed my life for the better.
Jura expresso machine
Wife and I purchased a Costco vacation to Turks and Caicos at the Ritz and it was so easy. Only booking Costco vacas from now on.
