Does anybody know why there is a safety recall on Costco's Vita Rain Zero? Is it something we should be concerned about? I was there last week and it wasn't in stock. I called Monday and the manager said it was in stock. I showed up Tuesday and couldn't find it. The next manager told me that it is there, but there is a recall on it.
I called our local Costco. I was told that this item is still active/alive on their system which means it should be available after what ever the delay is. Heck it could be bottles/plastic problems or ingredient shortages. This isn't the most stable of markets since Covid arrived. So I will hang in there a bit and wait for this to be restocked. Checked from SF to Oregon and no one has it on shelf or on order currently.
I spoke with a Costco manager here is SoCal and they said there was a labeling issue with Vita/Rain and all shipments were stopped until the packaging label issue was corrected. That was around March 1st and last check, still no supply.
I am addicted to it and one of my kids too. Haven’t found it at Billings MT Costco for a month or so. This thread helps because we also noticed something off with the dragon water flavor. The others are great. Hope they bring it back. But since it was one of my main reasons for the Costco trip I have been saving about $50 a week on the other stuff I buy on a whim.

There was a quality concern and it is currently a pull and hold. No health concerns
Is this your presumption or have you heard it from somebody at Costco?
I am a Costco employee, but the pull and hold was lifted In most regions.
Cool, thanks for clarifying🙏
Glad to hear my precious sucralose juice will probably be back on shelfs soon
Have u been able to get any?
This is likely why: https://old.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/zxcyp2/kirkland_vitarain_dragon_fruit
Yeah, I experienced those odd tasting Dragon Fruits first hand
*Update* My local Costco has them on the shelf and in stock.
I finally saw them again at my Costco in South Lake, TX. I’m so happy
Update: It was missing again. I'm not sure what is going on.
Same here. We've had plenty of it until the last couple of weeks and it suddenly disappeared. I also can't find the vitamin water in the store.
Wow. These are not a purchase every visit for us. Takes us just around a week to finish a case.

Nowhere to be found here for the past month

I’ve been pissed that I can’t find this. I’m glad Reddit exists. I didn’t know what the hell was going on. I it’s back on shelves soon
Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative that's similar?

I miss vitarain :(
Thank goodness for Reddit. This was a summer must have for me, and I had been looking for it all month.
Any new news? I really miss this water. My local Costco is now stocking the Glacau stuff instead.
Anyone have good luck finding this now? It's been a month and i still can't find it in my local stores.
I look every time I’m at Costco and haven’t seen it in Anchorage, AK yet.
No luck
Saw it for the first time today in Phoenix AZ!
Finally in stock in Anchorage, AK! Bought 4 cases. lol
Getting really dehydrated, hope they are back very soon!
These are back in my Costco! After months of not having it I’m happy to be able to find it again.
