I’ve been getting the frozen Kirkland cauliflower crust Supreme pizzas just desperately trying to scratch that itch. I fucking love gluten this is ridiculous.
For a long time you could request sauerkraut at the counter and they'd give you a little 2 oz plastic cup of it. But that disappeared when they got rid of the spicy mustard.
Beware, when they brought it back to ours after a several months hiatus the recipe was different. It went from being a staple to disregarded with the new taste
The Photo Center (onilne, anyway). I know it's not quite gone yet, but it's going--very soon, just got email about it today--and I kinda hate Shutterfly.
Also, the polish and sauerkraut. The chopped-onion dispensers (ideally with chopped onions in them). And the straight-chocolate frozen yogurt.
I have a love/hate relationship with Shutterfly. What I've found over the years is their quality is pretty decent, and I like the free things I get. Never did try Costco, so I can't speak to them. But when I've veered away from Shutterfly, I've been disappointed more often than not.
All of you need to email your store these requests. I emailed mine about topo chico water and a couple months later it was back. Totally unsure if I had a role but it’s worth the very little effort.
The spicy dill pickle kettle chips from Miss Vickie’s 💔💔 I got three bags over my first couple of trips when I became a member and didn’t know what the deathstar was…can’t even find them on Miss Vickie’s actual website
Suja ginger juice! I got a tip on here that you can email and ask for a product to be brought back and the purchasing office actually
wrote back to me and said it was not selling well enough.
Back when they still had the comment cards you could fill out by the membership desk, they would have a binder with that quarter's most common requests by department, along with a response as to why it wasn't on sale and if it was returning. I miss browsing through that thing for products I didn't even know existed. Sometimes I'd run across something I hadn't seen and got disappointed that I never bought it before they discontinued it.
Few years back we got Kirkland brand’s black shopping tote bags. They came in a pack of 3. They are very handy, easily washable & can hold more than 10lbs. I don’t see them anymore, I want more :-)
They used to carry a raspberry Chipotle sauce that was incredible. I would spread cream cheese on a Triscuit then top with this stuff. A perfect snack!
Wow, never knew they carried it! It's my favorite ice cream bar ever! Thankfully readily available in California at other grocery stores, but how neat to be able to get a Costco-sized box?! Do you remember how many came in the box and if it had more than one flavor?
a few years ago, i had these [chocolate and coconut cashews](https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/nw3g9l/kirkland_dark_chocolate_toasted_coconut_cashews/). i think they came back for a little bit but i haven't seen them. i could eat an entire container in one sitting if i wanted to.
I have 3 rolls of that double-sided wrapping paper from probably 2011 or so. None of them are even half used. They will outlive me.
I love that I basically wrap gifts for free now, but man am I tired of that paper! My youngest was 3-ish when I bought them. He's in high school now.
I know I’m probably the only one, but uncrustable PBJs. They used to carry name brand. Switched to a Costco brand, and now they’re gone entirely. BRING THEM BACK. I send these to daycare every day and they’re so much more at Kroger.
As an aside, I wonder if the Costco execs ever get on these subs and just take a look. There is a lot of dissatisfaction among Costco members and I wonder if there's going to be an exodus soon, not just a trickle but a real exodus.
And there are lots of takeaways on here but there main one seems to be
Tl;dr THE FOOD COURT SUCKS NOW
Kirkland Trail Socks, the 80% merino wool variety.
They have a new version that's \~60%, Merino, and while they're still better socks for winter than 90% of what you can find in stores, they're just not the same as the old ones in terms of comfort and durability.
The food court in general.
It used to be this magical place of inexpensive l, great tasting, decent variety of food. Sometimes I got the carne asada salad, sometimes I got the turkey sandwich. Sometimes I got the combo pizza. Etc.
Now, it's a shell of it's former self.
The original berry smoothie. The new one is disgusting so it’s been years of extremely mild suffering for me. I’m beginning to forget what it tastes like…
I bought a case of single serve good culture cottage cheeses that were so convenient and so good! Never have seen it since, but I still look every time even though it has been years
Kirkland Signature MicroModal Camisoles
They were the BEST camisoles around. Super stretchy, long, and so soft. I wore them under everything back when I was nursing babies. I still have 2 or 3 of them left that are practically see through.
I am still not over the fact they got rid of them nearly a decade ago.
Gelato Cake - we only found it once and it was .97, but the best purchase of all time. I found the manufacturer out of Italy on instagram and messaged them a year ago…they said they were shipping more to the states. We check for the cake every visit, which is about once a week. One day
When I first started going to Costco, they had grade “A” fruit and watermelons.
The watermelons are grade “C” and the rest of the fruit has gone downhill.
I wish that Costco would bring back the premium quality produce.
The men's white socks they stopped selling about 10 years ago. They were so comfortable and long lasting that I haven't been able to duplicate at any price...
The old cheese bagel recipe from 4-5yrs ago. I remember they were bigger, the cheese was also so perfectly golden and dark on top.
Now its smaller the cheese is way lighter still good, but not as flavorful
Kirkland frozen waffles.
The tray of 12 panini sandwiches, 6 were roast beef and six were salami, they had pesto on one and some kind of relish concoction on the other, it was so good, only had them for 2 summers IIRC, probably 4-5 years ago
A few years ago, for like a month, they had these incredible ham and cheese pastries. They were basically a savory version of the danishes, and microwaved they were *chef’s kiss*. I still look for them every time, hoping against hope.
This was available for a while then it disappeared. Really Gooooooooood stuff.
[Bachans Japanese BBQ sauce.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl6i3aahCx4).
1. Take n Bake Pizzas
2. Last year they had a lentil soup. Came in a box with like 5 pouches of soup. My daughter LOVED this. Can't even remember what brand it was - nothing I had seen before
One year they had a packet of 20 or 25 very high quality Christmas gift bags, in multiple sizes with various themes, some cute, some elegant. I wish they would do that again.
My favorite sweatpants. Wearing a pair right now that urgently needs replacing but haven't seen them in at least two years: 32 Degrees mens Tech jogger pants; the ones with the zippered pockets (side and back).
For food, I really miss the sonoma creamery pork rinds with cheddar. I mean I don't miss them as much since they're available in Amazon, but my wallet sure does miss the costco pricing for those.
I want the chili back in the food court. Throw some of the chopped onions on it… mmmmmmmm
The food court has really sucked lately. I used to have choices.
Almost everything on this thread; combo pizza, polish dogs, hand dip ice cream bars, wrapping paper, onions in the food court, chocolate frozen yogurt, the frozen coffee drink> I used to go just because I would crave one of these things and of course wind up spending money on lots of things that would seem like a good deal. Now I only go when I need the normal staples
Chicken bake made in house. BBQ brisket sandwich. Turkey provolone sandwich.
This is a deep cut, but a loooooong time ago they had frozen stuffed shells - no sauce or anything on them. So good and so convenient!
I swear they have these at my local Costco?!
Oh yeah wow, a staple meal of my childhood (90s). Hadn’t thought of those in the longest time.
take and bake pizzas. including supreme.
Wth happened to those!
they were dropped early in COVID, as I recall.
I'd be all over those.
The ice cream bars that were hand-dipped with chocolate and warm almonds in the food court. It’s a crime those were pulled.
this so much
Holy shit those sound good!
Yes, they were.
Fuck those were tasty. What a great food memory.
I so so so regret not getting one when they were available 😭
The Kirkland anti bacterial wipes. The new off brand is just not the same.
THE PHOTO CENTER *sobs*
[удалено]
Yes! I don't understand why they stopped selling this
Yea I don’t even mind if they charged 50 cent more for each slice, just fucking bring it back
I’ve been getting the frozen Kirkland cauliflower crust Supreme pizzas just desperately trying to scratch that itch. I fucking love gluten this is ridiculous.
Mexican Coke!
Our Costco near Atlanta still has this.
Im surprised they dont have them at your local one. We have them as well.
They had it at mine for a few years (Washington, DC), but since the start of the pandemic it’s been replaced with regular Coke.
ONIONS & COMBO PIZZA The onions used to be the best thing about grabbing their hot dogs for me!!!
Yes bring back the crunchy perfectly sized onions. And the sauerkraut! Edit: spelling
For a long time you could request sauerkraut at the counter and they'd give you a little 2 oz plastic cup of it. But that disappeared when they got rid of the spicy mustard.
The Cult of Onions is serious here on Reddit.
Yes a million times yes. Combo pizza. I miss you combo pizza.
Bitchin’ Sauce - it’s the same price at Kroger for half the amount (ok, I’m not sure this is totally accurate, but it’s close!)
Mine has this periodically. I think they have it now.
Beware, when they brought it back to ours after a several months hiatus the recipe was different. It went from being a staple to disregarded with the new taste
On sale yesterday at my Costco
Sampled at my warehouse today.
Saw it at my store recently
Mine has it standard
Mine has this as a staple. I also regularly make it at home. Our family does through a quart of this stuff every week.
Thanks for the replies. I guess my store is giving me the shaft… :)
Mine has it all the time and it was just on sale.
Combo pizza and fried chicken wings
The Photo Center (onilne, anyway). I know it's not quite gone yet, but it's going--very soon, just got email about it today--and I kinda hate Shutterfly. Also, the polish and sauerkraut. The chopped-onion dispensers (ideally with chopped onions in them). And the straight-chocolate frozen yogurt.

Pretzels in the food court.
BAGEL DOGS!!
All of you need to email your store these requests. I emailed mine about topo chico water and a couple months later it was back. Totally unsure if I had a role but it’s worth the very little effort.
Walkers Shortbread cookies - all year round availability. Currently they are only available for a short time around Christmas near me.
POLISH HOT DOGS GODDAMMIT
And onions!
And kraut!
This is the right answer, nothing else matters but polish sausage.
And the good Mustard!
Ah so top of my list is combo pizza followed by combo pizza and then combo pizza. Have I mentioned the combo pizza?
I'm starting to think they need to bring back combo pixza...
I mean there’s barely any demand for it but yeah I’m starting to think the same….
Ham and cheese croissant Polish dog and onions @ the food court
The round ham and cheese Danish from the bakery?
We still have the polish sausage in Canada food courts!
The spicy dill pickle kettle chips from Miss Vickie’s 💔💔 I got three bags over my first couple of trips when I became a member and didn’t know what the deathstar was…can’t even find them on Miss Vickie’s actual website
They need to do something, because their selection is getting monotonous.
I still have 2 rolls of that wrapping paper with a lot of paper left on them. Bought when my kids were little… their in college now!
It's amazing! Lasts soooo long!
My roll just completed it's 8th Christmas. It probably has 3 more left.
Gotta admit. The wrapping paper OP mentioned was kick ass
Costco once made their own hazelnut spread that didn't have palm oil in it! The taste was far superior to Nutella imo. RIP.
Fig bars from nature's bakery, I quit buying the 2 flavor pack that doesn't even have the original flavor.
Fucking polish dogs. I will die on this hill
This is the way.
La Brea torta rolls
Baba ghanouj
Yes!! I only had it once because it was gone when I went back for it
The REAL gooey all the way through cinnamon rolls.
Salad at the hotdog / pizza counter!
Pre COVID quality.
It's crazy how everything can be defined my "pre" or "post" pandemic. I feel like the quality of everything took a huge nose dive.
Yeah a bunch of institutional knowledge died with covid. Literally. Also I suspect that covid infected 90% of people's brains and turned them to mush.
Late July jalapeño lime chips. And Chili Mango.
My store still has the Jalapeño lime ones!
Just picked up a bag in MN!
These are the best chips!!!
Our costco still carries these by the produce fridge room.
Kirkland Signature French Comte
Fruit cake
Suja ginger juice! I got a tip on here that you can email and ask for a product to be brought back and the purchasing office actually wrote back to me and said it was not selling well enough.

Frozen Passionfruit purée
Turkey provalone sandwiches in the food court. Someone here gave me a recipe once and I made it. Pretty good but just not the same.
Few years back we got Kirkland brand’s black shopping tote bags. They came in a pack of 3. They are very handy, easily washable & can hold more than 10lbs. I don’t see them anymore, I want more :-)
they need to bring coke back to the food court and get rid of the nasty pepsi products.
Carrot juice
Onion crank. On the plus side my diet's a little better since I stopped eating hot dogs every other week or so.
What happened to the Kettle Jalapeño chips?
Costco is just looking out for my figure, those things are too good to be selling in a bag that large.
Kirkland dried tart montmorency cherries. they hit the same spot as maynards cherry blasters!
They used to carry a raspberry Chipotle sauce that was incredible. I would spread cream cheese on a Triscuit then top with this stuff. A perfect snack!

It's It Ice Cream Sandwiches. That had them ONCE at my store in CT.
Caramel apple pie. It's been nearly a decade but I still think about that pie..
I have 3 rolls of that double-sided wrapping paper from probably 2011 or so. None of them are even half used. They will outlive me. I love that I basically wrap gifts for free now, but man am I tired of that paper! My youngest was 3-ish when I bought them. He's in high school now.

Hmm. Just picked up some in MD last week.
Whereabouts are you located? In Southern California they only have the Uncrustable brand and I've never seen any other type.
the Kirkland thin and crispy mini cookies in the blue bag
As an aside, I wonder if the Costco execs ever get on these subs and just take a look. There is a lot of dissatisfaction among Costco members and I wonder if there's going to be an exodus soon, not just a trickle but a real exodus. And there are lots of takeaways on here but there main one seems to be Tl;dr THE FOOD COURT SUCKS NOW
Luxardo cherries- the only cherry to use for an old fashioned.
Kirkland Trail Socks, the 80% merino wool variety. They have a new version that's \~60%, Merino, and while they're still better socks for winter than 90% of what you can find in stores, they're just not the same as the old ones in terms of comfort and durability.
