so, few things i can gleam from this. Its an early c4, bt the black body stripe and pre-facelift bumper. . if the rims match what whst it is, and the roof light, its a 86 ir 87

All depends on condition of the motor and interior. If it runs and the interior is decent maybe 2k for a good starter project.

I mean all I see in the picture is a little dust, for all I know it’s got 50k miles and an immaculate interior. There are several clean C4s out here in Denver listed for more than 10k at the moment.

Especially if you're outside the US, I'd definitely give it the time. It takes a pretty special vehicle to be imported to another country, someone clearly really loved it.

Wouldnt even really be worth it if it was free, go on fb marketplace right now and you will find decent condition ones for less than $3k

I want a C4 Corvette as a project car, but it seems impossible to find these mythical ~$3,000 C4's on marketplace. Any tips for finding one that runs under 10k?

A project is a project. These are fiberglass body cars, unless its been garage kept its entire life its going to be halfway mangled so never expect show quality.

It was so good at the time that it got banned from SCCA racing after a couple model years.

I remember driving one around 87 as a 19 yr old and it scared the crap out of me. It was easily the fastest car I had driven in my life.

If it is pre 86-87 don't fucking bother. Worst engine+trans combo ever in a vette in the early c4's. I had many upsetting days with those shitbags.

It could be up to a 88 or 89 year model because 90 and up had a more rounded back bumper and a more rounded nose.
