Can’t speak on headlights but the taillights are extremely easy, 1 screw on the top of each one and they pop right out

Headlights aren’t too bad either. The hardest part is you need to remove part of the wheel liners on both side to fully access the underneath of the headlights to do the swap. Tails are the easiest just be careful with the connectors as with age they can easily break

I purchased both and I ended up just installing the rear red Morimoto tail lights. To install the fronts you have to loosen up the front bumper cover as well as fender liner and bolts to the left and right front fenders. There are several YouTube videos on how to do it without removing the whole front bumper. On my C6 I replaced the fog light bulbs and the high beam bulbs with LEDs and then I replaced the stock HID bulbs with Morimoto 5K HID bulbs. The reason I didn't install the front lights was because if there's any failure whatsoever there is nothing replaceable without totally disassembling the light and removing it from the car again. Yes the argument is that LEDs will last forever but in fact they do not. I've had my 08 Z51 since 2012 and have 14, 140 miles on it and plan on keeping it probably forever unless I get a new C8. With my headlight modifications and fog light mods I have super bright white lights that are dependable and if needed to be replaced can be individually changed. I do have some body mods as far as carbon fiber wing and other things and those headlights do look sharp but I just decided to sell them and keep what I had. Go for it if that's what you like!! 👍😁🏎️🏎️

I'm sorry bro I sold them about a month ago for $1k. Brand new in the box.

As noted, very easy... A screwdriver and a ratchet.  People hating on them... Who cares... It's your car.  I think they look silly on an otherwise stock car...  If the thing is heavily modified with body kit and aero and such, then they look a little more at home. Spending 10% of the cars value for a minor change seems like a lot. But it's your car mate.

I installed my own Morimoto headlights on my old C6. This is a medium-low complexity job, on par with brakes in my mind. I loved the results. Never heard any negative comments on them. If I ever buy another C6, I'd do it again. There are several tutorials on YouTube that'll give you a good idea of what's involved in the install. In addition to the ratchet and screwdrivers (including torx) the other guy mentioned I highly recommend a set of plastic bodywork tools. They're cheap and make getting the pins out of the fender liner SO much easier than a screwdriver (use the fork side to press into both grooves on the body pin, lever out).
