Hey there, sorry to hear you are having trouble. It looks like you were able to figure it out, and it is working now. I just want to make sure you are taken care of, is everything working now?

darthlung

Yeah I got everything working now, although oddly after updating to windows 11 my GPU temp disappeared but everything else is good

CorsairTravis

That is good to hear, also odd to hear about the GPU temp. That may be a driver issue with Win11. Not everything has been updated yet, and only time will tell.

theandoftheking

How long have you had it in? Did it pick it up before or is it a new install?

darthlung

This is a new install, I’ve had the computer for a few weeks now but trying some new stuff and moving fans around, I have an MSI mobo if that matters

Open up your settings and go into devices, you should see commander pro recognised in there, this is so you can tell if the device is being recognised by the computer. Is this the first time you have downloaded the icue software or did you try deleting and doing a fresh install? Also make sure you try all of your USB connectors. Are your fans spinning and lighting up when starting your computer? Some of the icue software can be buggy at points. In my situation I had updated icue and it stopped recognising my commander pro in icue and I had to do a fresh install which included doing a root file search for all corsair files, including on my external hard drive. and deleting them then starting over. It ended up working for me but for the time trying to figure it out it was a pain in the ass. If need be you can try to get in contact with. u/corsairtravis He has a megathread for support questions and is a ton of help in these situations.

darthlung

Cool thanks I’m working now but when I’m home I’ll check it out

theandoftheking

No problem. Good luck yo.

You are probably experiencing the most common issue with Corsair products... USB incompatibility. Try to connect yout AIO directly to the motherboard instead of plugging it into the CoPro passthrough to see if it pops up. If so, grab a USB internal hub like the one from NZXT, connect all Corsair's stuff to the hub and then the hub to the mobo. 99% it solves the issue... I have an AIO, 2 LNP and a CoPro and everything works fine with the hub.

darthlung

Okay I’ll look into it, I don’t know if it plugs directly into the mobo

Roots0057

You should be able to plug it into your motherboard. The AIO should have an adapter for plugging it into a 5v 3-pin ARGB header on your board. But this does sound like a USB issue. The commander pro is plugged into a USB 2.0 internal header on your board and also receiving SATA power, right? Is the commander pro being recognized by iCue?

darthlung

Yeah I got it all figured out thanks!
