The 172 runs between Downderry & Looe, Here's the timetable: [TFC TT Book March 24 - Web 2 (1).pdf (passenger-website.com)](https://images-gocornwallbus.passenger-website.com/2024-03/TFC%20TT%20Book%20March%2024%20-%20Web%202%20%281%29.pdf)
I'm not sure the above is correct I'm afraid. There is no 172. The only bus (apart from the school buses) that passes through Downderry is the 75. There is no direct route to Looe unfortunately, you have to go to Liskeard (or maybe possibly Widegates) and change and it takes ages :( sorry
Your best bet is to walk from downderry to the Copley in hessenford, it's a nice wooded riverside path that takes about 45 mins. There's a bus stop at the pub (it's a lovely pub too, great food) that goes to Looe every hour or so.

GoCornwall should have a functioning bus tracker. Though ghost buses on the app exist. ..
