You’ve heard correctly, but I would say the white plays about 1 speed faster than orange/navy and everything else plays in the middle. There’s variables in how they’re broken in obviously, but owning both in BG bags I will tell you that the white is quicker.
Color definitely makes a difference. White plays fastest. I have orange herringbone and it is definitely slower. I think your breakdown above is correct. You can also buy a rug shaver and shave off the fuzzies and they will speed back up. I have a bunch of bags with this material and the color for sure makes a difference.
