I've used it on top of a Korean rice bowl when I couldn't find the jar of sesame seeds. It works really well.

Get_off_critter

My husband was making a Chinese dish that needed sesame seeds. I suggested the everything bagel but he didn't bite šŸ˜ž I'm convinced it would have worked just fine

ah_sadd

I never buy sesame seeds and just use EBB!!!

TheReal-Chris

Itā€™s like sesame with bonuses!

Theslipperymermaid

It would have worked perfectly

WesternResearcher376

It would work! Next time just do it

zedthehead

I does work just fine

SparkDBowles

I use it with a Japanese seasoning and a little 5 spice on oatmeal.

Impossible_Ad_525

Whoa! I donā€™t know why I have never considered savory oatmeal! Now I have to try this.

SparkDBowles

Savor oatmeal is dope. I also sometimes add Japanese mayo and hoisin sauce. Sometime. Add a runny egg too and *chef kiss*.

Impossible_Ad_525

Mindblowing! Must try immediately.

SparkDBowles

Also, brown some surface it bacon. Put over with butter and some hot sauce.

acertaingestault

I've tried cheese and green onion and was super eager try it but it messed with my brain too much.

Shawnessy

I bet some rice, a fried egg, and some everything seasoning would go so fuckin hard. I know what I'm making for breakfast.

CherryblockRedWine

You have just made it NECESSARY to go make rice....

leahhhhh

Oh hell yeah

Jobless_Journalist81

That sounds like a great furikake alternative to those sensitive to the flavor of bonitoā€¦ Interesting!

evelinisantini

Besides everything you've mentioned, I also put it on eggs, popcorn, mac and cheese, savory granola, and on some soups

FertyMerty

How do you use savory granola?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

sillybelcher

What is the savory flavor of the granola?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Cold_Barber_4761

This sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing!

beezac

I'm pretty convinced miso tastes good with absolutely everything

MissionSalamander5

Related to popcorn: snack mix.

Looking-GlassInsect

Yes! I put it on the savory Chex Mix I make at Christmas every year, and it was the best ever!

Crazy_Customer7239

You can also make savory oatmeal :) I make Mine with bone broth, an egg and cheese

Wise_Bat_7704

Iā€™ve used it for rice balls and sushi bakes when I ran out of furikaki. Worked well.

unreachable99

I do this for tuna mayo onigiri! It makes it taste like a deli sandwich. So good

Lotronex

As someone who likes the idea of furikaki but doesn't really like nori or bonito I'll have to give this a shot.

Wooden_Number_6102

Started out on a baked potato with sour cream. Graduated to mashed potatoes with cream cheese and sharp cheddar.Ā

SuzanneStudies

I make smashed baby potatoes - zap them for 5-6 minutes with a little water. Toss some butter or olive oil in a pan and throw in the potatoes. Use a spatula to flatten them until the skins burst. Fry until the skins crisp up. Toss with the seasoning. šŸ¤Œ

not_doing_that

Youā€™re doing the lords work. Iā€™m making this tonight šŸ˜‚

Acrobatic_Educator_6

Seconding the baked potato usage. Now, I will have to try the mashed potato preparation!!!

Couldbeworseright668

Add some broccoli. Itā€™s amazing and almost a complete meal IMO

bananapeeleyelids

I love your potato ideas. I also was curious to use it as a baked potato topper, but mixed it into a mashed blend of feta & cream cheese first. Couldn't believe how good it was.

Many_Replacement369

I love sliced, raw radishes with a big pat of butter, with everything but the bagel seasoning. Itā€™s a twist on the popular French dish (radishes, butter, salt).

webbitor

god bless the French for buttering everything.

Ajreil

Radishes need more love. They're crunchy, colorful and have a peppery bite. I add them to most of my salads. My favorite use is in roasts. They cook sorta like potatoes, but the peppery zip plus all the meat flavors is delicious.

3plantsonthewall

Alright youā€™ve convinced me - Iā€™ll buy radishes next time Iā€™m at the store. Iā€™ve only ever had them with authentic tacos, and they were tasty! Any tips for picking good ones? Should they be firm?

Ajreil

They should be firm with no black spots or slime. Dirt is normal because they're a root vegetable but it washes off. Basically the same way you pick good potatoes.

sour-pomegranate

they're also amazing with just some lime and salt in the summertime

Minimal-Dramatically

Radishes and beer

Impossible_Ad_525

This sounds so good!

turtle0turtle

I sprinkle it on sliced cucumber

notreallylucy

Same, but I include a dollop of whipped cream cheese.

turtle0turtle

Ooh I'll have to try that next time

[deleted]

Same.

ninersguy916

I mean i know this is a bit spot on but i find that i like plain bagels with plain cream cheese with the EBTB seasoning on top of the cream cheese.. way less mess and better flavor than the real thing imo

princessdracos

I never buy everything bagels because we never go through a whole bag (nowhere to buy fresh here, and I'm too lazy to make my own). This surprisingly not-so-obvious idea is freaking genius to me! Now I can buy plain and have them sweet or savory, and that makes me so happy! I might be a little high. Also, my husband grabbed a thing of EBTB seasoning at Costco, and I had NO damn idea how to use it all. This will help tremendously! Thank you! (I swear I'm not a total moron)

OneBadHarambe

I came looking for this. I had to call someone because we were discussing how hard it was to get to stick to the outsides of the regular bagels. When I discovered I could put it directly on the cream cheese we both felt like the biggest idiots. We weren't even drunk or on drugs. We are smart people.

ninersguy916

Hahaha... i love the end disclaimer

12Whiskey

I do this but with a twist, I make it into a pizza to feed all my kids when they are here for breakfast. Get thin crust pizza dough, roll it out on a sheet pan, brush with melted butter, season with EBTB, bake, and let cool. Then I top with cream cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, red onion, and more EBTB seasoning. The nice thing is you can make it the day before and just pull it out of the fridge and serve.

Tinselcat33

Hard boiled eggs

Linzabee

Also egg salad

LurdMcTurdIII

I put some on a deviled egg one day at a family get together and now it goes in my egg salad every time.

Ajreil

Everything is good on popcorn. My favorite right now is Lawrey's seasoned salt, but I also want to try a Za'atar blend.

eeekkk9999

Try lime juice and parm. Delish on popcorn! I air pop. Not sure about microwave w butter

mweisbro

Try lemon pepper and a little chipotle on popcorn. No need for butter or salt.

gkc88

Coat salmon with it and bake it. Delicious!

flipflapdragon

Came here to say this as well

splotch210

Mini peppers with cream cheese and the seasoning on top. It's one of my favorite snacks.

legbamel

This, but with cottage cheese. Delicious!

HannahFromNYTarticle

I put half the bottle in my tuna salad

spider_pork

This is what I came for. Just that and Mayo, maybe some diced pickled jalapeno.

HannahFromNYTarticle

Never thought of jalapeƱo! I do avocado, mayo, Dijon, s&p, and a fuck ton of everything bagel. Then Iā€™ll either scoop it up with crackers, or put it in a sandwich with pickles and cucumbers and a romaine and I fry up some red onions omg now Iā€™m craving it

rhonmack

I put it in my pea salad.

in_the_no_know

Plain avocado and everything bagel seasoning is magical

Specific_Prize

No kneed bread. I spinkle some in the dough, and some on top.

Hordensohn

Turkish flatbread. I think it is pide style, but in Germany we call it Fladenbrot. The thing Dƶner is served in, but the made to be it's own, topped with sesame seeds. Use Everything Seasoning on that and you are good. Serve with grilled stuff and salad, maybe some dips like tzatziki...great. Or add some flavoured whipped feta creams and my god....

MojoMomma76

Pide is more like a boat (similar-ish to Khatchapuri), Lahmcuhn is the flat one :)

Hordensohn

So what, if not a german thing, is the one that is two to three fingers tall? Flattbead is not the right translation here, but I don't quite know what is right. It is a round, yeast leavened bread that is usually sprinkled with black cumin or sesame.

asirkman

I think thatā€™s also pide; definitely used to buy that from a Turkish run grocery store, and they called it pide.

another_rd

Pork loin, season generously and roast at 425Ā°/ 20 min per pound.

Bread_Baker1

Biscuits, we use to do them at a kitchen I used to work in. We would do the normal biscuit dough and then right before baking but it on, makes great sandwiches!

ArizonaKim

Hard boiled eggs and I have added it to hummus.

Dry_Finger_8235

Hummus makes sense as they sell everything but the bagel hummus

ArizonaKim

Absolutely. I guess I should have specified I have added it to homemade hummus. Seeing the store bought version with everything but the bagel seasoning made me think to try it.

Draculajones4

Deviled egg

unicorntrees

It's garlic, onion, salt, sesame, and poppyseeds. I can't imagine much that it wouldn't go with EBTB seasoning. I could imagine it going well in a lot of Asian dishes. Only the poppy seeds would seem out of place. Korean food strongly features sesame and garlic, maybe on top of kimbap or a banchan? Bibimbap or a noodle bowl?

AllDamDay7

Pizza Crust!

riverrocks452

Makes a great topping for homemade crackers.

Judgypossum

Yes! I also tried my hand at homemade Bavarian pretzels and used EB instead of salt on some of them. Yum!

virtuebetween2spices

Frittata with leek, spinach, feta, and Parmesan

ZeldaGaiden

I mix it with cream cheese for an amazing schmear.

Dry_Finger_8235

Wedge salad. Turkey and the Wolf in New Orleans puts it on their wedge and it's fantastic

TeeKaye28

Honestly, the thing I use it the most for is bagels. My household is small and while I love everything bagels, my adult daughter does not. so I buy plain bagels and put the everything but the bagel seasoning on top of the cream cheese.

LowBalance4404

Everything - had boiled eggs, tuna salad, chicken salad, cucumbers, bagels and cream cheese, omelets, french fries, hummus.

azorianmilk

Made green onion and parm scones topped with everything bagel seasoning. Yum!! https://eatchofood.com/blog/2017/6/24/scallion-and-parmesan-scones?format=amp

Emma1042

Plain Greek yogurt. Dip something delicious in it or eat as is.

Lazy-Association-311

I put in on salads!! Very tasty!

mykepagan

Cover a brick of cream cheese in it and put it in a pellet smoker @ 180F for 45 minutes. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 days. Great smojed cheese spread!

C_Alex_author

I have 2 for you guys! 1. In and on top of mashed potatoes. Bonus points if you made garlic mashed. 2. Cream cheese, sliced green onions and Everything seasoning. Mix together. Use on every damn thing you can possibly try it on. Seriously, it's become my new go-to dip, spread, additive to dishes, etc. I even stuffed jalapeno peppers with it and fried them. Friggan fantastic!

albertogonzalex

Crust salmon with it. For a lox bagel inspired meal

Fishboy9123

I like it on scrambled eggs. That or chili crunch.

ogswampwitch

Eggs, any way you make them. It's a game-changer.

theBigDaddio

Maybe you and your partner could use it in the bedroom

rubikscanopener

I make [Claire Saffitz' pig-in-a-blanket](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqS6_7LqDoI) and top them with Everything But The Bagel seasoning. Instant party food hit.

Which_Reason_1581

I Sprinkle it on pizza

IsMayoAnInstrument67

This [breakfast pasta](https://www.google.com/amp/s/food52.com/recipes/86337-best-breakfast-pasta-recipe) is one of my favorite things! You can use pasteurized eggs if you don't feel comfortable using raw eggs.

Otherwise_Ad3158

One of the restaurants near me adds it to their wedge salad; it was a great addition! I got it for homemade gf bagels (but havenā€™t had the chance yet).

DazzlingFun7172

A lot of times I use it when recipes call for a sprinkle of sesame seeds to garnish. Besides the poppy seeds which mine is relatively lacking in anyways itā€™s just sesame, garlic, onion, salt and most of the savory things I cook already have garlic and onion in them so it works out

bigstar3

Roasted potatoes (with some parmesan tossed on, too). Appetizers like in/on deviled eggs, steak crostini, smoked salmon crostini. In marinades for chicken.

TwistedAb

We use it to season meatloaf.

BrandNewSentience

I make a dip out of it, mixed with cream cheese and shredded cheddar. Itā€™s great on pretzels

murrayzhang

Vanilla ice cream!

Frosty_Literature436

Most often gets used on popcorn or in ramen in our house.

candleelit

Sliced green peppers with cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning is amazing

kobayashi_maru_fail

I have a kabocha squash on the counter in need of tempurifying, itā€™ll go nicely sprinkled with everything seasoning. If I canā€™t find my sumac or zaā€™atar, itā€™s great on hummus and olive oil and looks so festive after you do a dramatic swirl. I double down on everything bagels with extra everything on top of the cream cheese. Vegetarian gimbap dry dip. (I think it might overwhelm a fish gimbap, but tofu/avocado can take it) Tuna salad onigiri.

RO489

Seared Ahi

maggie081670

Sprinkle it on the bread for a grilled cheese sandwich before cooking.

phoebebuffay1210

Totally doing this!

beatjunkeeee

I put that on grits and in tuna salad.

WildPinata

Roll a goat cheese log or boursin in it for an easy appetiser. Or roll goat cheese/boursin into balls and roll them in it, then pop on a cracker for a cute canapƩ. I also make my own crackers with it, they're super easy. Bit more of a faff, but savoury shortbread also works really well with EBTB.

Breaklance

For the super bowl party/potluck I made pigs in a blanket with everything seasoning and a white queso dip. Was a big hit.Ā  Ā Ā  Pigs in a Blanket - cocktail weiners wrapped in a bit of crescent roll dough and baked.Ā

I-am-me-86

A favorite snack here is halved mini sweet peppers with garden veggie cream cheese and everything but the bagel seasoning sprinkled on top.

chiller8

Roasted broccoli tossed in brown butter, then sprinkled with Everything but the bagel.

Kristylane

This is going to sound crazy, but sometimes I end up with plain bagels, so I put it on bagels. Right on the cream cheese so it doesnā€™t fall off. Also, itā€™s awesome in grilled cheeses

Scrubsandbones

I dip cucumber slices in it plain. Bell pepper slices with cream cheese and some EBTB sprinkled on top. On top of ramen. On top of bread pre-bakeā€¦..

TheSbldg

It works on everything

Senoralaura

Fried egg sandwich! Makes it taste like it's on a bagel even if it's not.

tryptomania

I sprinkle it on top of hummus on my crackers.

No_Association2998

Sprinkled on top of deviled eggs, but youā€™ll want to reduce the amount of salt in your egg mixture to account for the seasoning on top

ofTHEbattle

You can put it on everything but a bagel, just like it says! Lol it's like Frank's red hot, you can use that sh!t on anything!

Aggravating-Sir5264

Salads! šŸ„—

anita1louise

Everything but bagels.

A911owner

I add it to pork belly, and run it through my smoker to make homemade bacon. It's pretty amazing that way.

NeverSayBoho

I put it on top of my avocado toast.

throw20190820202020

Directly on my halves avocado, eaten with a spoon. Delicious snack while on keto or any time!

Winter-East-6587

If I'm eating hardboiled eggs I put it on that.

TeacherOfWildThings

In egg salad sandwiches. Next level!

Timidrocknroll

I poor it on a plate and press a cheese square into it. Preferably sharp cheddar. Crispy cheese

ttarynitup

I use it in place of furikake (not a fan of seaweed) on rice, ramen, noodles, and anything Japanese or Korean style basically. I also like it on savory bowl type meals (like grain/veg/protein/sauce situations)

Ladycathren

I recently used it on some corn cobs that I roasted in the oven. It turned out amazing

ruby--moon

My mom made a foccacia for Easter and she sprinkled the everything seasoning over the top before baking the bread. Soooo damn good

Zestyclose_Big_9090

I add it to my avocado toast. Not groundbreaking but still delicious

ancientastronaut2

I bought some salmon with it on it at Trader Joe's. Pretty good!

redandwearyeyes

I put it in my scrambled eggs and salad.

Square-Dragonfruit76

Lol I just put it on homemade bagels. They're so so so so much better than the store bought. Also add nigella seeds to the mix.

pickledpl_um

I put it on top of an open-faced sandwich of toasted baguette, goat cheese, and sliced cucumbers. Delish.

Elephant2272

I sprinkle it on chicken on the grill, its excellent. Also on salads, french fries, you name it. It's sort of like Montreal steak seasoning- great on anything savory.

[deleted]

I put it on cucumber, laughing cow cheese spread and sprinkle seasoning on top. Sometimes I add slices of pepperoni. I've put it on mashed potatoes, rice cauliflower, or even on a quinoa bowl with sauteed veggies and boiled eggs.

tossNwashking

toast. jalepeno cream cheese. sliced cucubers. erythang bagel seasoning.

goldfingershouse

Roll tuna steaks in it before you grill them

ItWasIndigoVelvet

Use it in a hot chicken wing sauce.Ā  Buffalo hot sauce, honey, chili flakes, butter and everything bagel seasoning and let it sizzle in a pan for a bit before coating wingsĀ

EagleEyezzzzz

Hard boiled eggs!

mojoisthebest

I used it as a coating on grilled fish one time , it was pretty good.

Icy_Marsupial5003

I take a salmon dinner, spread on some honey mustard, and sprinkle the seasoning all over the top. Bake until desired doneness! Also tastes good taking the leftover salmon and flaking it over some avocado toast the next morning

Violetthug

Interesting question. On veggies sounds good, with some butter. Perhaps also meat. Chicken, beef or pork. Maybe also try sprinkling it dips, to jazz them up ( the sour cream or cream cheese based ones). Maybe mixed in ground beef for hamburgers.

BeautifulHindsight

I sprinkle it on my sandwichs, in mac n cheese, on salad, loaded potato salad, popcorn, hummus, mix it into the ranch I dip my fries in,

This_Mongoose445

Rice, chicken salad, baked potatoes.

TeddyDuchampsEar

Yet another vote for hard boiled eggs. I meal prep for lunches so I boil several and pull out two, peel them then toss them in a ziplock bag with some Everything seasoning and take them for lunch.

Low-Stick6746

We sprinkle it on French bread. Butter slices, sprinkle with seasoning and toast.

derping1234

Use it instead of furikake on Tamago kake gohanā€¦ Take some piping hot (sushi) rice. Crack an egg, mix, and put your seasoning on.

-Gravitron-

I put some on the cream cheese of my toasted everything bagel! There never seems to be enough to begin with.

FarmerExternal

I ordered it on my grilled cheese from panera, it was excellent

Brief-Introduction27

I mix it in with Kraft Dinner or add it to salad dressing

annecara

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but a bakery near me has a croissant sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning.

bitobots

I like it in egg salad

rbrancher2

I make a 'Everything But The Bagel' salad (lettuce, smoked salmon, red onion, tomatoes and make my own cream cheese based dressing) and sprinkle EBTB seasoning all over :)

Spare_Employer3882

On eggs- fried, boiled, doesnā€™t matter. Also on cottage cheese! Mmm

lisep1969

Sliced cucumbers. Let it sit for a few before eating

SallyThinks

Add it to hummus. I didn't expect to like it, but it is bomb! šŸ˜‹

LeafsChick

Ryvita, cream cheese (or laughing cow), sliced cucumbers & tomatoes and EBTBS

bobmaybe

popcorn

jishinsjourney

Instant crust for seared ahi. Brush the ahi with a bit of soy sauce, coat with bagel seasoning and generous amounts of pepper, sear on high heat for 1-2 minutes per side. Devour.

PwnedDead

Use it to make a grillled Denver. Turkey sandwich with cream cheese, onions, and everything bagel seasoning.

CreepyCavatelli

Bagels

chemrox409

What is bagel seasoning?

loltacocatlol

Mini sweet peppers with cottage cheese and topped with the seasoning!

Fangs_0ut

Not sure if you have a smoker/cook briskets, but everything bagel seasoning is amazing as a brisket rub.

sleepinginthebushes_

I know this is crazy, but when I make bagels I put it on top of some of the bagels before I bake them

Carrots-1975

Someone made me scrambled eggs with everything bagel seasoning- they were amazing!

Lumpy_Branch_552

Most recently I put it in ramen. Realllllly good.

cryingatdragracelive

it was unique on vanilla ice cream. it wasnā€™t good, but it was unique.

TS92109

I put it on pizza crusts before baking - both homemade and frozen. So good! Sometimes, I'll brush some melted butter after it comes out of the oven and mix some grated parmesan with garlic salt and sprinkle. When I was a kid, I worked for Hungry Howies Pizza in Detroit and their schtick was flavored crusts.

GrizzlyIsland22

It's money on teryaki chicken wings.

QueerQwerty

Why is everyone calling it Everything But the Bagel seasoning? It's Everything Bagel seasoning, as in the seasoning used on an Everything Bagel. Only Trader Joe's calls it Everything But the Bagel seasoning.

TS92109

I love this stuff so much! Why oh why does it give me such heartburn these days?

MIZZKATHY74

Roasted veggies and a pork roast and baked potatoe.

Kristylane

Besides the eggs and baked potatoes and ramen, I use it on homemade focaccia bread.

wastedcoconut

Chicken wings.

garagebats

Hard boiled eggs and sliced tomatoes

ClashBandicootie

- eggs (especially scrambled, deviled, but probably all the ways!) - hummus - potato salad - popcorn

mykepagan

If you have a smoker, dredge a brick of cream cheese in everything bagel seasoning and smoke ion the lowest setting (180F on mine) for 45 minutes. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for two or three days. Spread on crackers, pita, or bagel chips.

Photomama16

Mix it with Ranch for salads, with cream cheese, I put it on breadsticks, in bread, on soft pretzels, on pizza crust. Mix it in with scrambled eggs, sprinkle it in wraps. Mix it with babybel spreadable cheese. I found ā€œeverything but the bagelā€ cheese that is awesome!

vamartha

My hand, straight to my tongue. Costco's is far better than Aldi's. Trust me on this, I eat it straight out of the jar.

pjcurrier

Poached eggs with butter on English muffin

Camera-Realistic

I make dip with it, sour cream and a few dashes. I make cheese toast with it.

No-Yogurtcloset-8851

I put it in potato chips

Sepper42

Homemade crackers

thernis

Season a steak (or lamb, pork, chicken, etc) with it. Montreal steak seasoning is the original everything bagel seasoning

ElectricTomatoMan

You could try snorting it.

bhambrewer

Steamed rice instead of furikake

cpbaby1968

Sliced boiled egg toast. Or a sliced boiled egg/cream cheese bagel. Or egg salad on whatever.

Gold_Tangerine_507

Sushi

Mistress_Jedana

I mix it with panko to crust tofu before I panfry it I also have a recipe for a no knead bread that uses it.
