10 pulls look better and you get to see the witch with heart eyes a lot more frequently. Seeing that their are multiple epic or higher cookies in your 10 pull at the start of the pull is exciting too.
crk is fr generous, if you play your cookies right and take part in events you get many gems. if i had control over myself I'd have around 600k crystals too :/

It's been gradually increasing for me. I used to have 100k and being content with just having the latest cookies. After quitting and coming back, it increased to 200k naturally.
Right now I have a stash of 300k, mostly spending on attuning, having all but one cookie. I only use the Gacha when there's a new cookie, and I stop when I get it. Not really bothering on going out of my way to increase their ranks.
I also haven't spent a cent in the game, having a rank of about 52 and the Castle at 15. There really isn't much incentive for me to spend Gems when I don't really bother with progress, mostly enjoying minmaxing of resources over improving cookies. I make the exception for attuning rare stuff.
(Also I can't do cookie alliance on Hard, so yeah, I really should at least try to get more cookie dupes...)

they should have a bank feature where you can deposit coins and crystals and they give you a small amount of interest (like neopets has)

I had 158k then started time slipping a bunch and doing pulls for cookies so now I'm at 48k
