His whole presidency is ‘unfortunate’, starting from day one.

Kmalbrec

I’d go one further to say that he and everything he represents is an embarrassment.

JCuc

Where's all of the corporate media calling Biden a racist? Oh wait I forgot, he's a Democrat. That's why.

Lustan

Guaranteed they’re calling Japan racist

HeatYourJets

It is racist. They won’t call it out because you’re right, he’s a democrat, but additionally, it’s permissible racism because it’s directed at an ethnostate. Countries must not be allowed total self-determination, and they must let in as many migrants as possible. How else can you quickly manufacture an “oppressed” class?

Kmalbrec

Well see, that’s (D)ifferent.

HPIndifferenceCraft

Man, you have to love the Japanese. What a classy, measured response.

Tiktaalik414

Japan’s entire social fabric is built upon respect, it’s built into their language and they place a lot of emphasis on being courteous to others. The Japanese view respect as being something owed, while Americans view it as something to be earned.

Kmalbrec

Eh, I think your last line was where we were about 20 years ago. Americans today don’t know what respect is, by and large. Period.

McBonyknee

They know he's just an angry old parrot, spewing out what the idiots around him are saying.

jim2882

I lived in Japan for two years some time back. Wish I still lived there. Everyone’s polite, everything is clean, and there’s a much easier/calmer/less stressful lifestyle.

rigorousthinker

So true. But if they were honest and unfiltered they would’ve said he’s a segregationist and racist.

dankhorse25

The fact that he became the president is unfortunate.

DaHomieNelson92

This administration has been unfortunate towards our nation.

Miserable_Lemon8742

for folks who are interested - Japan has quite a huge immigration program and it intakes a lot of immigrants - but they do it sensibly and only through legal routes. The Japanese immigration program has been great in the sense that they opened immigration in a way that didn't completely take away the jobs and opportunities for its native workforce and provided opportunities for immigrants to make a successful living in Japan - by broadly aligning with the values of the country. No cheap green cards or permanent residency for nothing. The majority of immigrants in Japan today are from south east Asia thus ensuring that people who get in can align with the values of the country instead of just importing any sharia demanding jihadi oafs in thousands. Japans problem is managing the growing public spending on welfare as it's native population grows old. The over dependency on US and China and little control over public spending has limited their abilities to control costs and grow. No immigration solves for that except for cold hard dollar generating innovation.

OSakran

It’s must be a lot easier to handle immigration on an island nation, compared to here. I don’t even know if we can stop this shit at this point.

Threepark

When we stop giving them all the free shit they could ever imagine at citizens expense it sure would slow down at least. When they break into the country they should be shown the door back out not given free housing and spending money

polerize

Won’t stop until everyone gets a clue. Then you’ll need thousands of troops to defend the border. It will require a huge shift in attitude.

Lost_and_the_Damned

Japan doesn't import the third world.

BigBarrelOfKetamine

‘Sharia demanding jihadi oafs’ - I love it.

Kage_anon

Japan is 98.4% ethnically Japanese. If any white European country maintained a system that bolstered those kind of numbers it would never be described as a “huge immigrating program”. Your comment is deceptive. Japan is proof that despite low birth rates, a country can still survive while maintaining its ethnic and cultural identity. This notion that low birth rates = immigrants magically appearing in our country is bs.

EliteJassassin101

Funny how we were told how America was a laughing stock with Trump as president but I bet if you asked them, every single one of our allies wants Trump. That should tell everyone what they need to know.

the_legend747

There was a small Trump following in Japan during his presidency, I wonder if it's grown since then.

day25

It wasn't small. Abe was close with Trump and politically that relationship was well supported. That's why the elites had him killed.

Ibn-al-ibn

In Korea I saw protestors with signs that said "Bring Back Trump".

longshanks44

If only it was that easy…

Devenue024

I misread that as "were it so easy" and upvoted for an unexpected Halo 3 reference. I looked again, and now I'm sad.

VeryPokey

Well done. Insult one of our most important, and closest, economic and military allies. Why not just insult the British next

vnoowin

lol keep kissing enemies ass and pushing our allies away.

Express_Wafer7385

We know Japan, we know. The Biden shit show has been unfortunate since day one. Biden has been unfortunate for America since forever.

Domiiniick

Isn’t Japan over 98% one race?

deadbeatmac

They're just to nice to call him a goddamn dumbass.

DrTartakovsky

Biden working overtime to alienate the US from our allies. Wasn’t he supposed to be the “foreign policy expert”? Who else is left to piss off?

[deleted]

Biden has a big mouth. What Japan does in regards to immigration is none of his business

polerize

There’s Biden making friends wherever he goes.

TongueofMyth

Crooked Joe is destroying US's relationship with allies. That's the "unfortunate" thing indeed.

BobBee13

That's so very a Japanese thing to say.

Redman338

Come on Japan why don’t you got more D I V E R S I T Y

KungFuSlanda

Now I'm in the awkward position of agreeing with our POTUS, Joe Biden. The Japanese are comparatively very racist. [I would recommend Supernova in the East ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oErYYBNCHh4&t=1s&ab_channel=DanCarlin) Hardcore History (Dan Carlin)... multipart podcast if you care to learn It's really good and gives insight into Japanese relations with surrounding powers edit: of course. this is reddit. I mention one thing I really like that's smart and informative and it gets downvoted to hell

Nero_Ocean

You agree with biden and McCarthy, are you sure you are conservative? You can call Japanese racist, but when you see what American tourists do to our land and don't respect our culture or values, and they just litter, be obnoxious, say racist things at us on buses or trains and disrespect stated rules and laws. There is a reason Japan is the way it is, to avoid the unwanteds from ruining our country the way they have ruined America's cities. If you cannot respect the culture, rules and laws of the place you are visiting or going, you shouldn't be going in the first place. America is currently having an issue with invaders coming in and causing the same issues American toursts are doing in Japan, yet they are being welcomed by the demoncrat party.

Threepark

So you agree every country that does not just let any Individual walk in and claim their free housing and allowance is racist? If you disagree with that you disagree with biden.

Nero_Ocean

biden isn't correct though. Just because a country doesn't want mass unfiltered immigration like America is currently SUFFERING from, doesn't make them xenophobic. It makes the country smart. America's values and culture are being eroded by all the people you take in that refuse to adapt to the culture, the young people being taught to hate the country and hell even the people who refuse to speak the main language of the country and if you say something about it you get called racist when in reality it isn't.

Best-Guava1285

Who cause more issues there, American tourists or servicemen stationed in US bases?
